Monika and her work are absolutely AMAZING. Not only does she have incredible talent for producing some of the most artistic, creative, beautiful, unique, playful, romantic pictures, she is also an absolute pleasure to work with. She is always professional, yet extremely kind and open to listening to suggestions and feedback. Her responses to questions/emails are always thoughtful and prompt and it is clear that she goes above and beyond to make her clients happy. For example, I was particularly impressed with how much time and care she devoted to designing our wedding album, taking extra time to discuss/incorporate all of my very nit-picky suggestions (and make sure they made sense with the overall style) even though she didn't have to. There are so many vendors that will simply dictate to a couple how things SHOULD be and not offer any alternatives, while Monika really listens to what couples want, while making excellent recommendations. Monika is a vendor that truly cares about everything she does.And of course, being a true artist, her style of work is naturally so beautiful and high quality, that she really does not need much direction at all. In fact, we are so grateful to her for directing us in her very easygoing manner. She knew when to gently take charge for a photo and when to hang back and let things happen, so that we ended up with a beautiful mix of both creatively posed and naturally candid shots. We totally trusted her just to do her thing and the resulting photos were gorgeous. She was unobtrusive, encouraging, and just plain fun! My husband and I are not people that typically enjoy being in photos, but she made us look and feel like models having the best time. As an added bonus, Monika is so experienced with weddings that in our conversations with her, we actually learned about elements /logistics we should be considering that even our venue manager / other vendors didn't think about or at least hadn't brought up with us yet. She always asked all the right questions and knew exactly how to handle the flow of the event (which included close to 300 people, two venues, and two other venues in case of rain, and several different indoor and outdoor photo locations.) I can say with confidence that hiring Monika was the best wedding decision we made! Not only do we have a beautiful, artistic book of memories, but we are also so grateful to her that her presence created such a sense of calm + amazing creative energy on our wedding day.

I am so grateful for Monika. She helped make our event unique as we didn't want our wedding and wedding photos to be like anyone else's. She has an incredible talent for capturing emotion, dynamics of a moment, and natural beauty. We love our wedding photos and hope to work with her again on another photo project. Monika did the most amazing job at our wedding! Thanks to Monika, we have the most beautiful memory of our wedding day. We chose not to engage a videographer (too intrusive), thus it was extremely important that we pick the best photographer there was out there. After meeting with Monika, going over her portfolio, and having her share her philosophy and approach, we were smitten. We were tired of seeing run-of-the-mill wedding photos, and Monika's fresh and artistic eyes transported our wedding into the most beautiful photos I have ever seen.

We got calls from all of our friends after we sent out our wedding picture gallery. The pictures were glamorous, timeless, elegant, and edgy. All of our friends said our pictures were the most unique and beautiful set of wedding pictures they had ever seen, and we couldn't agree more.

Monika did a wonderful job photographing our wedding, and with the engagement session as well. As everyone hopes for in a photographer, she and her second shooter were impeccably professional and they worked so hard the entire day. Making the decision to work with Monika Broz was the one thing I was certain of when it came to our wedding. Photography was the most important thing to me, so I researched for the absolute best in my budget. After carefully following her website & blog, I knew she had to be the photographer documenting our wedding day. Monika's work speaks for itself not to mention it screaming pure genius! Sir Isaac Newton’s got nothin’ on her! She was simply wonderful to work with and she made it relaxing and comfortable for me, my husband and our family & friends. We had a unique venue to explore and that she did! I loved how she captured the Adventure Aquarium’s 550,000 gallon shark realm as our back drop to our ceremony & reception. And it was her talented eye that caught the amazing light behind us in the Philadelphia skyline where she chose to have our family portraits taken. Those shots are truly incredible! But in fact, they all are. Her love of fashion, enthusiasm for capturing a moment, appreciation of paper goods and her expert eye for art design comes through in every shot she takes. I am in love with my photos and gaze at them all the time. I am still receiving compliments on our photos as I expect to for our lifetime. I can’t thank her enough and sing her praises for the timeless memories that I will cherish forever that captured the most amazing day of my life! Oh and she thinks colored shoes under your wedding dress is HOT!

Monika was not only THE MOST AMAZING photographer and but also was such an incredible person to work with. Planning a wedding can be so stressful but she was always available to answer any questions I had or to make me feel better about silly things I couldn't control :) (i.e RAIN!). She always went above and beyond and our pictures came about absolutely unbelievable. Everyone at the wedding has commented not only on the pictures themselves but on how hard our photographer worked all day while still managing to stay "on the outside" and let us enjoy our day. Choosing a photographer was the most important thing for me in planning the wedding bc - for me- the pictures are the one thing that outlast the day itself. When i met Monika and saw her passion for the art of photography, I knew she would put 100% into making our photos beautiful not bc it was her job but bc photography was her life. Monika was by FAR the best money we spent on our July 2008 wedding!! Each time I look at the photos, I love them more and more. She has such a unique way of capturing the "feeling" of the day. Monika Broz is a star of her talent. My husband and I were/are verrrry selective when it comes to visuals - esp. photography. We searched left and right to find the right photographer - romantic but not cheesy, vibrant but not overdone, edgy but not too crazy, and someone who understood the most important aspect of our special day - our love for each other. Monika captured all of these components and more. She and David Mielcarek (another amazing photographer) drove all the way from NJ to VA to shoot our wedding. The day was intensely hot and finicky, but she managed with such composure and understanding.

I was very shy about having so many pictures taken, but she captured such beautiful moments from the wedding. The angles, the colors, the textures, and the contrasts are not of a "wedding photographer," but that of a true artist. Our photographs look like art pieces. Whenever I show my friends our wedding pictures, they only gasp and awe - many of them wish they knew of Monika before their weddings!

One of the best experiences of my wedding was having Monika - before, during, and after the wedding. She is a delight to work with, and her work makes it all the more delightful!

No only were my pictures better than I could have ever dreamed, but Monika is an absolute delight to work with. On the BIG day, Monika was there early to photograph me and my husband getting ready and stayed till the end of the night. To say that Monika is a talented photographer is an understatement – she is a brilliant photographer with a great vision and personal style that is clearly apparent in each photo. Monika did an absolutely amazing job - Photos are the one thing that last over time, so important that we pick the best photographer for our wedding. She captured every detail beautifully and was so unobtrusive, yet seemingly everywhere. She has an amazing eye for the quirky, fun elements that make up the day, with great candids, but also takes the most beautiful tradtional portraits. Our album is gorgeous - It was very hard to narrow down the photos we wanted to include... I went over the recommended amount because I just couldn't edit them down!
