Monique Madrid Styling

Monique and her assistant did hair and makeup for me, my 4 attendants and 2 moms. Everyone looked wonderful and she was on time and super friendly. I had my trial with her about a month prior and loved it. She was very accommodating to me – I had been emailing her many months out to see if she was available. She had already been contacted about another wedding on the same day, but she was able to move the other committment up a little and do both of our events.

Monique is wonderful!! I never realized before the wedding that the make-up/hairstylist would be the most influential person in regards to vendors on the wedding day!! She is warm, creative, talented and so fast!!!

I would never have chosen another person for this job!

I just loved Monique. She?s so fun and funny and this was just what we needed while getting ready. She did a great job and all the girls looked fabulous! She made sure I was 100% happy before she left. She was one of the more reasonably priced people too?which was a definite plus. I?m not sure how people can justify spending 2 or 3 hundred dollars on makeup for the day!?!

Monique and her assistant did the hair of my bridal party, mother, grandmother and a couple of close friends. They arrived promptly and moved quickly. They were actually able to throw my grandmother’s hair in last minute (she changed her mind and wanted it done). I absolutely loved my hair and make-up – she nailed the look I was going for, it looked perfect.

Monique and her sister put us all at ease and made us look beautiful. The whole wedding party had stunning hair and makeup that lasted all night. If you want to find someone to make you look like a more perfect version of yourself rather than a girl with too much makeup on, Monique is the best.

I found Monique through a friend and she was also on wedding wire. She was great, great, great to work with. Very easy to communicate with and flexible with my needs. She is very laid back and has a great energy for your wedding day. I had her do my hair and make-up. We didn't have any time to do a trial beforehand because I was from out of town. None was needed, I loved my hair without any adjustments. She did an amazing job. Monique was great at keeping me looking natural for my makeup but getting me camara ready. I definitely felt the most beautiful I have ever felt. Thanks Monique! You did that! My makeup stayed throughout the day and night as did my hair. Fantastic! I would highly recommend her to any bride. OH yeah... she aslo did my two neices hair (ages 10 and 11). They looked great and Monique had a great way with the girls.

Monique and her sister Bree are rock stars. They did my hair, five of my girls, my mom, and my flower girl in fewer than three hours. They also did make-up for two of the girls in that same time period. Monique is friendly, keeps the nerves of everyone in check, and, more than that, she does an incredible job. Every girl looked different, no one thought they over-paid, and they all looked HOT.

Monique was awesome! She recreated the style I wanted from my trial exactly - even better! Her prices are great, our hair and make-up turned out perfect, and Monique was sweet and fun to be around. I have never felt prettier than I did on our wedding day.

Monique and her assistant completed my hair, 7 Bridesmaids, 2 flower girls, 2 Mothers, along with my makeup and 4 other makeups in 6 hours.
Monique was great to work with. I was an out of town bride and relied on email communication. She emailed back same day and was very flexible in scheduling the trial.
My hair lasted 24+ hours!!! It didn't move an inch. Two of the bridesmaids had some pieces fall, but only after 5+ hours of it being done.
She is the best value around for makeup and hair and very fun to have around on your wedding day! I would definitely recommend her to any other bride.

Monique was wonderful. She traveled to my mom's house and did all the bridesmaids hair and makeup plus mine and my mom's...also the flower girl's hair. All done in 3 hours. She was fun to have around and made the morning much more relaxed and enjoyable.

My only complaint with Monique is that we had to switch our schedule around, causing me to get my hair and make-up done at 10 for my 5pm wedding. By the time the reception rolled around my hair was falling out. My makeup looked great all day, and if I had been able to book her for a 1pm time my hair would have been perfect until the end! Monique was super comfortable to be around, and very sweet. She is a great deal for the price you pay! I would highly recommend her.

Monique did my hair, and 4 of my bridesmaids hair, 2 flower girls hair, and my dad’s FIs hair plus a couple make-up jobs on bridesmaids. She worked with an assistant to get everyone done on time. Her prices are very reasonable and she’s great to work with…. The only reason I am giving a minus is because she didn’t stick to the agreed upon schedule for my hair. I was supposed to go in the middle and she pushed me til the end thinking she was ahead of the curve… which ultimately delayed me starting my make-up on time (done by me) and stressed me out a bit. My hair didn’t turn out quite as planned and a piece kept falling out all day/night. I do take some responsibility for that because I pulled out a loose bobbypin- which obviously came back to haunt me. But all the BMs were happy with their hair and she worked fast.
