Monique Powers-Airbrush Makeup Artist/Eyebrow Specialist

Monique "Rocks"! My wedding was 8/9/08 and she made me look beautiful. I tend to have dark circles under my eyes and that day I had none. She arrived early to my aunt's house, even before me. She had everything set up and had all the notes from our trail. I requested that I wanted the make up to be a little lighter than the trail and she did. She airbrushed me and I looked perfect. She also did my eyebrows even when she was not supposed to. Very professional. I am glad that I had her do my make up. Oh, the make up lasted all night til the early morning.

Monique did such an amazing job on myself and my wedding party. I felt like a princess the all day and night! My make-up didn't come off or fade once, let's just say that it was still in tact the next morning : )
Monique does traditonal make-up application and Airbrush, which is what I had done. Monique is also a Eyebrow Specialist, my eyebrows never looked so good! You can see her work in my bio, and play close attention to the picture of DH and me cutting the cake, you will see that my make-up was perfect all night, after dancing and sweating my butt off ;) I highly recommend Monique, she was so sweet, and professional at all times, and she was at least 20 minutes early on the big day. Oh and before I forget, once you see how great she makes you look on your wedding day, you'll want to try and do it yourself, Monique has released her on "how to" apply makeup DVD, it's called Makeup Assignment, of course I bought it as soon as it was released last summer, it's great!

I am very very very picky about my make-up, especially my eye-brows and eye liner application. When I first met Monique, I was first shocked by her beauty and hoped that she can transform me into a beautiful bride ;) Wow! was I so amazed at her delicate artistic skills. My eye brows were amazing! Better than what I can do! I totally recommend her to everyone. I even told my friends that you will not be disappointed. Coming from a tough critic and picky person like me, they knew I was telling the truth! I was so amazed at how nice and professional she was. Being your own wedding coordinator, you realize that the wedding business is tough and people are not nice to you unless you are spending $$$$. Monique was one of the few who were nice regardless of how much you are spending. She treated me so kind and also arrived extra early with notes (make-up notes) on the day of. She even brought her make-up chair which I found so helpful. Thank you so much for making me so beautiful! I am still getting compliments until today (my wedding was on 7/11/09) about how gorgeous my make-up was. People said I looked like a beautiful porcelain doll. I can not wait for another event... so I can do my make-up again with you ;)

What more can i say about Monique except that SHE'S THE BEST MAKEUP ARTIST ALIVE!!!!!!! Wow - Monique you are truly the best!!! I recently moved to LA and was looking for a makeup artist.......thank God i saw Monique on Platinum weddings! I called her and after meeting her, i decided to have her do my makeup for my engagement session and my wedding! CAN I SAY INCREDIBLE, TALENTED, PROFESSIONAL, INSANELY THE BEST!! Monique did a great job on both occasions and my pictures live to tell the story! Apart from the fact that she has an incredible spirit and she's beautiful inside and out, she's extremely professional! My makeup lasted ALL day on my wedding and everyone still talks about that!

Monique is AWESOME! SHE ROCKS! She did my make-up for our engagement photos and wedding. I have very oily yet dry skin and I don't have the smoothest skin either. BUT she made everything so perfect! She does Airbrush Makeup and it's amazing!!! Make-up lasted ALL day & ALL night! And my face didn't get oily from the make-up either.
