Very good company to work with within our local area. The staff was very helpful, professional, and pleasant to work with. They were very reasonable in their pricing and worth the expense should you be responsible for this piece of your wedding planning.

I only rented table linens from Morris, so my experience is limited to that, however they have a variety of rental items to chose from. Specific to my experience, the only negative I would offer is that this vender does not too many linen color/style choices, but we were able to find a color which matched our decor quite well. Also, plan on picking up clean linens and dropping off soiled to their offices following event (which, although I'm unsure if this is standard for other linen rental companies, this is what we did).

Morris Tent was actually half the estimate we had from another tent company. Very good communication and great cooperation. My only downfall was a tent liner for the inside of the tent was, in my opinion, too high priced.

We hired Morris Tent Rentals for our June wedding. I was assigned a new associate who did not have that much experience. She was very easy to work with in the planning process and always responded to me. I also made a number of changes while planning, and as I was planning from another state, they were helpful during the planning stage. My dissappointment however came the weekend of the wedding. They were supposed to contact me prior to setting up, and I did not receive that call. THey were also supposed to call the site to coordinate with our caterer, and I ended up having to do that. The woman I liked and had worked closely with, did not come on site at the time I was there (we were there for several hours). The celing of the tent was dirty and some of the tables were not correctly arranged, although they did fix these issues when we asked. Overall, it was honestly a stressful day being there for the tent set-up and not having the support person there as promised. For $5000, I expected a higher level of service. When I called to speak with Morris that day, the office staff treated me as if I was annoying them and complaining over minor details. Again, having just paid them $5000, I did not appreciate that treatment given that certain aspects of the set-up needed to be corrected. I will say, the tent did look stunning at the wedding and everything came out looking beautifully. Also, as I said they were very easy to work with throughout the planning process and planning with a bride from another state is not easy. However, had I not been there to supervise the tent set-up myself, some things would have been missed. I think had they been more hands on during the tent set-up, our experience would have been different.

The staff at Morris Tent rentals is very helpful and professional. If they don't have a picture of an item on the thier website, no problem, they will take one and send it to you. They were always quick to respond to my emails and phone calls, very polite and the prices were great. They are the type of vendor that cares that your event goes off right.

Additional Advice
How far in advance do I have to place my order and do you require an initial payment?

While we have an extensive inventory but we recommend that you book as early as possible. This will ensure that all the products you require will be available. For tents and large affairs, you should plan at least five to six months in advance, or earlier, if possible. For small orders, usually one or two weeks will be sufficient as long as we have it in stock. Some specialty items are in limited supply so book them as soon as possible.

To place your order, we require the following:

-an initial payment of 50%
-a signed contract of rental agreement (returned by mail/faxed to us: 607-263-2225)

After those requirements are met, your order will be confirmed. Any changes you make to the order will adjust the balance owed; the initial payment amount will remain the same.

You may make the 50% initial payment by either by check or by credit card. When you call, our Office Manager will answer any questions you have and take the required information. We accept the following credit cards:

Information on Delivery, Set Up, Break Down, and Pick Up

When do I make the Final Payment?

We require that you make Final Payment either before or upon delivery.

When will my delivery and pick up take place?

During our peak season, it is difficult to set an exact delivery or pick up time. Our Field Supervisor is responsible for scheduling our set up and break down crews. We will contact you early in the week of your event after our Field Supervisor has worked out the scheduling for all our deliveries and set ups. We try to arrange a mutually beneficial time for delivery. Our office manager will confirm with you the day and approximate time of delivery. If an unforeseen circumstance arises, which causes our crews to fall behind schedule, we will, of course, keep you informed about any necessary changes.

What happens if I need my items delivered or picked up after regular business hours or on the weekend?

Since this directly affects our labor costs, these additional costs must be passed on to the client.

Can you deliver rental items if I am not home?

We require you to be on site when the rental items are delivered. You must be available to count all items upon delivery and pickup; otherwise, Morris Tent Rentals, Inc. counts will be considered accurate. You will need to personally inspect the items being rented and find them to be in good working and unbroken condition when received and that it meets your requirements.

What is Morris Tent Rentals responsible for setting up?

-tent(s)
-flooring (tent flooring, carpeting, dance floor)
-lighting (and the related electrical concerns)

Our crews will deliver and place under the tent:
-*tables
-*chairs
-dinnerware items
- linens

* If you prefer, we will provide a setup/breakdown service on chairs for a fee of $.25 each chair and tables for a fee of $1.00 each table.

What do I need to do with the dinnerware items and linens before Morris Tent Rentals picks them up?

We ask that the dinnerware items be rinsed before being placed back in their appropriate racks and that the linens be shaken out before being placed back in the cardboard boxes in which they were delivered.

I cannot wait for your staff to pick up the items after my event. Can I just leave everything stacked up in the yard?

It is not as crucial for you to be on site for pick-ups. If a tent was rented, you may stack the other items inside the tent and our staff will take everything away. This ensures that all of the items are sheltered from the elements. You are responsible for the items while they are in your possession. Therefore, if you leave before our crew arrives and some items "disappear," you are responsible for the replacement cost of the missing items.

Will I be credited for equipment I returned unused?

All rentals that leave our warehouse must be cleaned upon return whether used or not. This is a health regulation to which we strictly adhere and hope you will appreciate. We must therefore, charge for items regardless of whether they were used.
