The Moxie Band

Love this band! Booked them for a corporate event with 300 in attendance. With our global team, from so many different countries and backgrounds, I was nervous about they would respond to the band - especially since I had only read the online reviews and seen the videos on their site. The reviews do not give them justice - The Moxie Band was incredible. They were so much better than I could have hoped for! They were extremely professional, on-time, easy to work with, have very professional equiment and set up and an excellent value. Not to mention, they kept this crowd dancing! I mean really, dancing! The entire team will not stop talking about The Moxie Band. I would recommend this band to anyone! They are simply the best!

Moxie played for my wife's birthday party, we've been married a while. Read the other reviews - I can't say it any better than what others have already said. When I hired Rich I told him, "I know this is a job for you (one of many) and I know it is hard work, but it is a very special day for my wife and I want all of her friends to have a good time". That is exactly the way Moxie approaches every evetn. This is the hardest working band I have ever seen - they look like they are having the time of their lives, but they deliver. Everyone in the band contributed and it was a very special evening. The band makes the party.

We had heard The Moxie Band several years ago at a friends's wedding. My daughter saved their business card and said whenever she became engaged, she wanted Moxie to play at her wedding reception. Several years passed, and when she became engaged, she ran up to her room and produced Moxie's business card.

Rich was delightful to work with. We booked them before we even had a specific date...we just knew the month...but he promised us we would be okay.

The Moxie Band just entertained 250 people at our daughter's reception and everyone loved them!! All ages were up on their feet dancing. I think the party could have gone on well into the wee hours of the morning, if our guests had had their say. Everyone wanted to know who was this band, where did we find them, where were they from....and HOW GOOD THEY WERE!!

If you want to have a fun reception with everybody dancing....book MOXIE....

Rich was also an excellent master of ceremonies. He announced the wedding party....and guided the guests from beginning to end....and no one was ready to leave....now that's a good party!!

We contacted The Moxie Band upon a recommendation from the wedding coordinator at our reception location. We heard their music online and were extremely impressed with them and their extensive experience playing in many different venues. They gave us ample opportunities to let them know what music we wanted and didn't want playing not only during their sets but also during their breaks-- and they followed our wishes. Rich did an awesome job as an MC, introducing members of the wedding party, special songs, etc-- he really made it seem like he knew us personally. Our guests commented about the variety of music and how much they enjoyed The Moxie Band. We would highly recommend Rich and The Moxie Band to anyone looking for a band-- they were amazing!!

Moxie band is the best!!!! They kep the party going all night long, and even when they took breaks, they made sure to keep the music going. They worked with us to make sure that the music played fit our tastes, and Rich was so easy and fun to work with! Definitely choose Moxie for your wedding, they bring the party!

I can not tell you how many praises I got on the band and how fun our reception was. They did such a wonderful job--playing to the crowd while always keeping a pulse on the bride/groom and my parents to make sure we were ok with everything. I can not say enough about the bands performance that night--you guys are awesome!

Moxie was a fantastic band for our wedding. They were truly good people, and they were so excited to make our day great. The guests LOVED them. No one got off of the dance floor all night. I've never seen anything like it.
They were a bit out of our budget, but they are not any more expensive than any other band in Atlanta of their caliber.
The coolest thing they did that I noticed was that when the iPod played their break sets, the band would slip onto stage unnoticed and then start playing the last song of the iPod set live along with the recorded track. They would fade out the recorded track and get a bit louder with the instruments. It was perfect. Because the guests basically felt like the band never left the stage. There was no down time!
They are amazing! I hired them sight unseen, and I couldn't be happier.

Moxie was not only the perfect compliment to our wedding reception, but they flawlessly kept the energy of the evening moving from beginning to end. Rich was VERY thorough during the planning process and was very organized and pleasant to work with. He was also amazingly accommodating during the wedding. He subtly would check in with me and my family to ensure they were meeting our expectations. They, in fact, exceeded out expectations.

Kristin's voice was amazing and she sang our first dance song better than I had ever heard it. It was magical! I also requested several songs to be played thoughout the night -- songs that I knew meant a lot to my friends and family. Rich successfully incorporated each and every song at the absolute perfect time in the playlist! Everyone had a BLAST and I've already had friends ask me for Moxie's information for their events! Moxie, thank you SO much for helping to make our wedding day PERFECT!!!!

LOVE this band!! We recently used them at our wedding reception and it was everything we wanted for our wedding day. They are so interactive with the crowd and really know how to keep the party going!! All of my guests are still raving about how good they were! They have a HUGE song list so whether you like oldies or more current music, they've got it all. We even picked a first dance song that was not on their play list at the very last minute and they still learned it in time for the wedding. Would DEFINITELY recommend this band to anyone!

We are so happy that we could have Moxie play at our wedding reception. They were absolutely fabulous, amazingly talented and kept everyone and every generation entertained the entire night. They played every type of music and even learned our first dance song even though it wasn't on their playlist. My husband and I were more than satisfied with the entire band and can't wait to use them again! We highly recommend the Moxie band!! Our friends and family are still talking about them!

Moxie was absolutely fantastic! Rich did a remarkable job coordinating everything before, during, and after the wedding. They were all such a joy to work with from Day 1 until the Big Day! On top of that, they were undoubtedly the best wedding band we had ever heard! Dozens of guests came up to us during the reception and after we returned from our honeymoon and commented on how much they loved the band. The playlist was perfect, and the talented Moxie members brought the energy all night long. We have absolutely no complaints and could not recommend a better band. If you want a great band, you will not go wrong with Moxie!

The Moxie Band played at our wedding at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center and they were amazing! Outside of the incredible music and fantastic energy they brought to the party (especially for the last set), they were a breeze to work with. At our first meeting with Rich, you could tell he and the band are well seasoned veterans and are able to give great advice as to how the flow of the evening will go. He also emphasized that everything would be flexible throughout the night and he wasn't lying. We had a situation where we finished taking our picture during the cocktail hour before we expected. Rich had no problem adjusting the times of the night and starting a few minutes early. Also, throughout the night, if there was ever a request or if we wanted to alter the itinerary all we had to do was tell Rich and it was done. Now, onto the actual music....as mentioned above, it was incredible. The band had so much energy and played great music. The band was definitely one of the most frequently mentioned "favorite parts of the evening" the next morning. I could probably keep going on for a long time, but will just end in saying that we highly recommend this band. They were exactly what we wanted for our wedding day. Thanks Moxie Band!

This band is great! They made my reception so much fun!

I agonized over which band to choose for my recent wedding reception, and after interviewing / doing cost comparison / viewing demos and websites of all sorts of Atlanta-area bands, my husband and I agreed on Moxie. I am glad I did so much research because it paid off: Moxie was exactly what we had hoped for at our reception. The band members clearly were having a good time; they were all smiles the whole time. They played fantastic music and had our guests dancing all night. I have had so many compliments on the band, and I am not surprised; they really were a highlight of an incredible evening.

Two things that I liked about Moxie band BEFORE I heard them play were 1. Rich, the band leader, heads up Axtell Productions, which has other musicians / entertainers, so we were able to get our ceremony and reception music through one company and 2. Rich was extremely professional and personable. He has all of his brides fill out a thorough form with their musical preferences / specific songs to play (or not play), and Moxie's performance stayed true to our requests. He also sent a note in the mail congratulating my husband and me on a beautiful wedding and thanking us for our business. Not many businesses take the time to hand-write notes to their clients, and I think that this is highly indicative of the type of experience you can expect with Moxie.

So, after all the research I did on Atlanta-area wedding bands and after having seen Moxie's performance, I can tell you that this is a professional, tasteful but fun, talented group that will not disappoint. I am so glad they were the band I chose for my reception.

Moxie was the best wedding vendor we had at our wedding! A true first class act and we could not have asked more from them. Everyone from young to old enjoyed their performance and celebrated by dancing the night away.

This band was everything I had hoped for! They were professional, versatile, entertaining, and I think they had as much fun as we did! I only know of a handful of people who left the reception before it was over - and everyone who was still there was still out on the dance floor! Rich was great to work with in the planning process. Any time (rarely!) they weren't playing live and were playing songs on an MP3, the transition from live and back again was seamless and undetectable to the ear. I would definitely recommend Moxie, and if I had an occasion in the future that called for such entertainment, I wouldn't hesitate to call them!

The Moxie band made our wedding AMAZING! Friends and family are still talking about them and we keep getting calls about how fun they were. The dance floor was filled all night long. Rich and the band members were very easy to work with and made our wedding so much fun!

All of our guests were raving about how wonderful the music was. Rich, the leader, did a great job of keeping our reception on schedule and making it very personal. They play a wide range of music and really take the time to cater to the type of event you want. I would highly recommend them.

The Moxie Band was fantastic. I would use them over and over for events we plan. For my wedding, there were so many vendors involved, and the fact that Rich made it so easy was one more thing for me not to worry about. He loves what he does too, which we can all tell.

What a FUN band! Everyone was on the dance floor all night long! Rich is great- very responsive. They even played over the time they were contracted to since our limo hadn't arrived yet. Moxie is the best!

I apologize for my delay in responding to your kind note and request for feedback in connection with The Moxie Band's superb performance at Charlotte and Stanton's wedding. Without equivocation, the Band's presence and music struck the perfect notes in every respect. You covered every genre of our eclectic play sheet artfully: the mellower tunes provided a charming backdrop to the early hours of the reception, and it goes without saying that when you cranked it up later on, the result was overflow dancing with an infectious joy that was everything we as the party givers were hoping would happen.
Beyond the music, as I indicated, your personal touch and the engagement of the other members of the Band were warm and compelling, and greatly contributed to the celebration. We appreciated your coordination of the "events": the first dance, toasts, etc., as well as the entertaining breaks. You struck just the right tone in the introduction and the performance. And many, many of our guests commented to compliment appreciatively not only your excellent playing, but more importantly your high level of engagement and the fact that, by all appearances, you all were having a very good time as well; our crowd certainly fed off that.
So again, thank you and the Band for bringing and sharing your talent, showmanship and commitment to making it a joyous affair. Thanks in large part to you, a splendid time was had by all.
