MPD video did an amazing job capturing our big day! From the initial meeting to the delivering of the final DVDs, everything went very smooth.
They did a great job picking which moments to edit during the reception. As in the highlights montage, it was as if I had given them a list of moments to include. It's as if they read my mind by including just the right moments...just about every moment we hoped to see was actually there!

MPD Video Production videoed my brother's wedding in 2008 and just videoed my wedding in July 2012 at the Boston Harbor Hotel. Michele and Alan are the perfect team to have your special day captured via video. My wife and I just received our video and we watched it numeours times because it is just that good! We laughed and cried throughout the whole thing. They showed every detail of the day and it made us feel like we were reliving the day. We felt like we were guests at our own wedding. I am SO glad I chose to do videography for my wedding and also that I chose the right people!!! I love MPD and know of them from being a wedding photographer. Things I had not thought of before regarding video were things like: Seeing our first dance. Hearing the toasts again. Seeing everyone doing hilarious things on the dance floor! :) There are things that the still photos cannot capture like video does. We even had unexpected moments where my sister, who is SO afraid of public speaking, decided at the last moment to give a toast to us! It was SO nice and not something we had planned for. I am grateful that this is on video!!!

Some of the things that happened on the wedding day went by so fast that I LOVE that I can go back and see them again! I also love seeing my mom crying during the ceremony (haha!) because on the wedding day, I was not really aware of anything else aside from my vows!! I love looking back and seeing everyone in motion and adding OUR wedding music to it!!! It's really something I'd regret not doing had I not chosen to add video to our wedding day memories!!!

Having our ceremony videotaped was a last minute decision and Michele was very prompt in her responses to my e-mails and phone calls. She was very supportive and accommodating in creating a custom package for us. We were very impressed that both Michele and Alan came to our rehearsal to scout out the best camera angles for our ceremony. The cameras were placed in perfect places and were unobtrusive. We are thrilled with our "highlights" video and full ceremony video. We received numerous complements on our video and how “nice and thoughtful” Alan and Michele were during our wedding. I would definitely recommend MPD video!

They shot our wedding (pre-wedding footage of bride & groom getting ready at hotel & getting into limo; final prep in the bridal suite at the venue; the ceremony; and the reception) and they were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING at every step. The final product is UNBELIEVABLE ... we were blown away at the quality!! They captured every single thing we wanted captured on tape & put it together to music, with awesome editing to create a video that literally blew us away. My husband and I were married last July (2011). We hired MPD Productions as our videographer. The entire experience from start to finish was very pleasant and professional. The quality of the work was exceptional, and both Michele and Alan were wonderful to work with. MPD came recommended from a family member, who put us in touch with Michele about a year before our wedding. Michele sent us over the complete package that detailed all the packages, and how each was customizable based on our needs and budget. She took the time to answer all the questions we had, and also helped us fill out the paperwork we needed to.

There was many options for videographer packages, and I would recommend to anyone to get a videographer at their wedding. My husband and I hired both MPD and a separate photographer, so we could have pictures taken during cocktail hour with the wedding party while the cameras were capturing the cocktail hour on film. We would obviously miss cocktail hour, so we were thrilled to be able to see it later on film.

Initially my husband was not thrilled with the idea of getting both a photographer and videographer, he just wanted a photographer. Now looking back on the entire experience, he feels the opposite way, that he is very glad we had a videographer.

MPD seemed to have a very unique approach to our entire wedding weekend. Their packages include so much, and you can add on or take off certain elements based on what you want and what your budget it. The “growing up together” story option and “video well wishes” were two of my favorite options.

Michele and Alan both came to our rehearsal at the Church so they could check out the space and be totally prepared for the next day. They had two cameras set up throughout the entire ceremony, so they were able to capture so many wonderful angles throughout the entire ceremony. I was even able to see and hear some of what went on at the Church before I arrived. My husband had a wireless microphone in his pocket to record the ceremony and vows for the video, and some of his conversations while welcoming people in were recorded. It was such a treat for me, as the bride, to see and hear what happened while I was getting ready!

In addition to capturing the cocktail hour fun while we were taking pictures with the photographer, Michele and Alan had “video well wishes” set up, where people could leave us a video message instead of signing the guest book. These were incredibly fun to watch once the video came out! They also had one of the two cameras set up to continue capturing well wishes during one designated hour of the reception. My husband and I absolutely loved watching these!

Because of the two cameras, so many wonderful moments were captured during the reception. We had a large ballroom, so we obviously could not see everything the entire time. It was really fun for us to be able to see in the video many things that happened that we never experienced during the actual reception. One specific time frame was when I needed to visit my room to change and was locked out of my hotel room! It took much longer to return to the reception because I had to get a key that worked, and I would have missed almost half an hour of the festivities, but luckily I had the video to watch and find out what I missed.

The quality of the video itself is exceptional! There are chapters at the beginning of both the ceremony and the reception dvd’s. These allow us to watch different parts of the day without having to fast forward through everything. The sound and angles that are on the dvd’s are fantastic! There is a highlights montage for both the ceremony and reception. I posted these for family and friends to see, and the response was overwhelmingly positive! People I had not even heard from in years sent me a message asking who did our video. They are getting married and were not going to hire a videographer but are thinking about doing so now after seeing our montage!

Our vows are at the beginning of the video done as one flowing set of introductory words, and they fit perfectly. It was totally unexpected as an introduction, and I have watched it over and over again because of how well it was done! Michele and Alan were totally professional the entire time, and looked happy to be with us all day. They smiled and genuinely appeared to be enjoying themselves from start to finish. They were with us from before the the ceremony (which started at 2:00 p.m.) until after 10:00 p.m. so they could capture our last dance!

We opted to go with the package that included enough extra dvd’s for our parents, and they are all thrilled to have a copy. My husband and I will be celebrating our first anniversary next week, and we plan on watching the entire dvd from start to finish as soon as we wake up! I highly recommend MPD to anyone getting married. Then you, too, can relive your wedding day anytime you want.

MPD provided videography services for me at my wedding this past summer. I have to comment on the experience working with them and how every interaction was positive which made the planning process easy and fun! I thought it was important to have vendors at my wedding that added to the great atmosphere and they did just that and really got along with my guests and other vendors. This allowed me to have such a memorable day and remain worry free! All of that stuff aside, once the wedding was over, MPD created an absolutely beautiful and unique video of my day. It was so fun to watch and it really captured the entire mood of the day. They took all of my suggestions and their experience helped guide me in the right direction with picking and choosing a lot of the details as well. I definitely walked away with a great keep sake to remind me of the most special day which I can relive anytime!!! I would recommend MPD to anyone and already have recommended them to friends & family.

MPD shot and produced the most outstanding video program of my daughter and son-in-law's wedding last August 2010 at St. Bridget's Church in Framingham and the reception at the Wayside Inn in Sudbury. They met with us to get to know us and our needs and then did pre-production work at both locations to make sure they captured the sights and sounds of each location. It made a huge difference. They captured the most beautiful aspects of the day and produced a 1.5 hour video that gives you "chills" and a chance to see every aspect of the wedding -- not just want you (as the parent) saw and experienced. It was fun to my daughter and son-in-law in special moments and to see what friends and family were doing - especially the dancing under the tent at night at the Wayside Inn. They also captured the spirit and love in their ceremony in ways you cannot describe. That's the beauty of video and their work. In fact, if you don't get the right people shooting it - you don't get a good program later. You only get one "shot." So they are the right people for the job if you want the most outstanding video memory. They are like having Ray Allen shooting 3 pointers! No miss and the best work outcome possible. Here's what makes a difference. First they are an outstandingly nice team. They are marketing professionals who know how to see and tell a story. Technically, they are the best with their cameras (no back of heads!) and back in the production studio - editing and making sure audio works (especially during the vows!) Their two-camera approach makes a huge difference in the quality of the church video, especially in a dark church. Audio was perfect. They also captured the best "stories" involving the special people in my daughter and son-in-law's lives, from the little flower girls coming down the aisle, the bride and her father, the soloist who sang "Ave Maria" to the carriage ride of the bride and groom at the Wayside Inn, with all the children in their bridal party. They produced a video and trailer that is on Facebook. So check it out. I highly recommend them for their creativity (selection of shots, music for trailer Black Eye Peas, outstanding responsiveness and flexibility.) Meet with them and find out that they are the nicest people and most professional videographers. I had done a lot of corporate video work over 25 years at Verizon and found them the best for their professinalism and personal touch. Their turnaround time was outstanding. The trailer they produced for Facebook and the couples' friends/family bring me back to the beauty, fun and magic of the day. Family have seen the video and say "it captures the love of Jenn and Pat and spirit of the day." Their price is extremely competitive. The MPD team will produce a memory that will last a lifetime. They are so good, we are now having them create DVDs of our old videotapes of our family and previous family weddings. In fact, you can see the difference in the quality of their work and other wedding videographers. In terms of references - Sheraton Tara in Framingham referred them to us and Wayside Inn also refers them. They also produced a "childhood video" with 100 old photos of the couple that was a mother's delight. The groom's mother included it in the rehearsal dinner they had at Hopkinton CC and it's now part of the overall program. It was a surprise to the couple and major reminder of how special they are to their parents. Don't hesitate to call Michele at MPD and at least explore your options and her ideas. You will be more than pleased.

As a mother of the bride, I can honestly say Alan and Michele are amazing to work with! Highly Recommended! I don't know why anyone would spend thousands of dollars on wedding and not record it...especially when this team of discrete and "invisible" videographers are there to capture those priceless moments.

I cannot say enough positive things about MPD! Michelle and Alan were absolutely wonderful to work with, and our wedding DVD is the most cherished item we have from that day (aside from our marriage!). They captured every important moment, and edited it perfectly. They made up for all that our photographer missed out on and then some! Plus, it was so nice to sit down and "watch" our wedding...we lived it, but it was nice to see it in "real time". We've watched it multiple times since our big day, and I get chills every time.
