Weather was an issue on my wedding day and Amanda and Andrew had every tool ready to get every single picture in before the storm hit. They're also great at capturing the energy of the event. Every time I look at the images from the reception, I feel like I'm reliving it all over again. A pleasure to work with.

We're so happy to have chosen MrDrew as our photographer. It's really unique to have husband and wife photographers working together and this makes their work something special. Their love for photography and for each other made them a pleasure to work with. We absolutely love our photos and we can't wait to use them again someday....maybe once we start a family!

On the Big Day, the clock seems to speed up. Before you know it, you are pronounced Mr. and Mrs, the cake has been cut, the dance floor is empty and the dress is back in the garment bag. All you have is sweet memories to look back on. I expected some photos to "capture moments in time"...but what I didn't expect, was the emotion behind the photos. Mr. and Mrs. Drew were able to put themselves in each moment and were able to produce images that created more tears....after the big day, then during the big day. We were able to look back at special moments, special expressions on guests faces, heartfelt, yet simple poses that evoked such a beautiful story that was told on 9/5/10. Were were at ease and very comfortable with Mr. and Mrs. Drew who were alone for the ride from start to finish on our wedding day. Our guests felt comfortable with them, our bridal party was comfortable and we certainly enjoyed their company, support and guidance during the big day. The gorgeous photos and artful images will be cherished forever. We simply can't thank you enough!

I never thought about hiring a photographer for my bridal shower, but my mother was fighting a chronic illness at the time, and I really wanted to make sure I had great photos. Well, it turned out to be the best wedding decision I had made, and it was all because of the kindness combined with excellence of MrDrew Photography. I was concerned that it may seem awkward to my mother and/or guests having a photographer at my bridal shower, but thanks to Amanda it was seamless. She was so caring and her friendly/outgoing personality fit right in with everyone. At the same time she was very professional and captured moments that are just irreplaceable. Thanks to MrDrew photography I do not just have photos to remember my bridal shower by, but my actual emotions at the time are now immortalized. Thank you MrDrew photography again for such a wonderful gift!!!

I never give 5 stars, but there was nothing that could have been improved with our wedding photographer...it was a perfect choice. I highly recommend McDrew Photography if you want to have creative, beautiful, professional photos at your wedding. We couldn't have been happier with the whole experience and we still contantly get comments about how incredible the photos are that we have on display in our home. I recommend them to everyone I know.

About MrDrew Photography

We are a husband and wife photography team. Since getting married in 2006 Amanda has loved all things wedding (Andrew might call it an obsession. Do they have something like AA for wedding planning?). Being able to assist Andrew shoot weddings has been a way for her to get her fix! Andrew has always loved taking portraits, shooting weddings was the next logical step.

We are a fun couple who love to laugh. Amanda loves capturing the candid moments through out the day. Andrew is great at the fun posed shots. We make a good team (in life and in photography!). Our style is well balanced, we combine a photo journalistic approach with modern and unique posed shots to tell the entire story of the day. We'll capture your family and friends celebrating along with you as well as all the little details of the day so that years from now when you look at your wedding album you can say "we threw an awesome party!". You've spent all the time planning this day, make sure all those moments are captured.

We also specialize in other types of event photography as well as portrait sessions. Whether it's an engagement session, a newborn (Amanda loves photographing babies!) session or a family session we can capture it for you.

What do your packages include?

Do you have liability insurance?

Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?

We always edit some of the images with a sepia tone. While selective coloring isn't really our style, if a Bride loves that look and wants an image edited that way we can absolutely do it!

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?

We prefer shooting with natural light, but can shoot in a variety of lighting situations, using on and off camera flashes.

Is your media preference film or digital?

We always use digital

How many photographers do you work with?

2, Andrew & Amanda. We do have relationships with other photographers, if a bride wanted a third photographer we would be able to make it happen.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?

yes, you hire us, not just any photographer.

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?

never, It's a long day, we couldn't imagine doing 2 weddings in one weekend. There is no way you could be 100% for the second wedding, and that isn't fair to the couple.

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?

We have relationships with several local photographers and would be able to make arrangements in the rare case that one of us was unable to shoot.

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?

We shoot using all nikon equipment, we have several camera bodies, a variety of lens, flashes, off camera lights, reflectors, etc.

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?

Absolutely!!

Do you charge hourly or full day?

We have an intro package pricing for 6 hours and then if needed you can add on more hours.

Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?

Yes we can shoot extra hours, Our hourly price is $300 (for the 2 of us)

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

We take breaks at the appropriate times, not in the middle of the action. We do expect that a meal is provided by the client.

Do you charge for travel?

nope

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?

Our post processing time is 6-8 weeks though we often have proofs ready before that time frame.

In what format are the initial proofs offered?

Initial proofs are offered online, clients can view the images and make selections for albums.

How long can the client keep the proofs?

Our images are kept online for as long as necessary.

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?

We retain the copyrights to the photos, the client will have the right to reproduce the images and share them online with family and friends. We need to be consulted and paid a fee if they want to sell the images.

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?

Yes

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?

We provide our clients with a DVD of edited digital files.

Will images be available for viewing online?

Yes, we allow our clients to preview and purchase prints through SmugMug account.

What kind of albums do you offer?

We offer coffee table albums at this time. We are currently developing pricing for flush mount albums, canvases and other types of products.

When will the client get the final album?

At the most, 3-4 weeks after they select images and proof the album, often the time frame is shorter.
