We found MSE Productions online when looking for our band. The website is FANTASTIC!!! You can review and listen to hundreds of bands from the comfort of your home. Miles at MSE Productions is the consummate professional. He knows the entertainment business. Working with Miles was a pleasure. Miles is easy to work with, organized, reliable and will send you reminders to help keep you on track. Miles and the band we selected knows weddings. They will send you a list of songs to choose from, as well as a questionnaire that outlines the big day so that it is a very personal event. MSE offers a number of other services such as ceremony musicians and even lighting. Truly a one stop shop for all of your wedding/event needs. We were over the top pleased with MSE Productions!!!

Miles Stiebel and his incredibly talented group of musicians were the highlight of our daughter's wedding reception. Since our daughter is a music teacher and many of her (and our) friends are professional musicians, they can be a tough crowd to please. I can't say enough good things about Miles and crew. They found a way to appeal to the bride and the guests of all ages, playing a mix of French cabaret (bride's request), American songbook, jazz, standards, "selected" oldies, Motown and dance music. The versatility was truly amazing and the level of musicianship was incomparable. We had a group of 8 musicians including horns, and several of the band members also sang (beautifully!) There wasn't a single request thrown out by the guests that went unanswered...and some were a bit obscure! Miles also did a wonderful job as MC, moving the evening along with grace and wit. The thank you notes and emails we've received since the wedding have all raved about the band. My husband and I give Miles and crew the highest possible recommendation. We just hope we have another event where we can use them again!

MSE Productions helped us plan our ceremony music and picked a fantastic guitarist, Eric, to play for us. I can't say enough about how great he sounded. You can hear him really well on the video (I was a little distracted the day of!) and he did a great job with the music we selected - which included at least one song that wasn't in his repertoire. He was kind enough to learn it for our ceremony. He was great.

We had so many compliments on our DJ. I don't think there was a time that the dance floor was bare. We had Steve Burrows and he did an amazing job. Our wedding was smaller, 60 people, and let me tell you each and every person was on that dance floor. He accommodated us song selections since we didn't know for a stepmom and groom song. My biggest concern was that people would be distracted and not be aware of the cake cutting or speeches, but he made sure that everyone was directed to the appropriate areas. Steve was great. When you give him your do-not play list, he will follow it - he went out of his way to find me to ask to make sure of certain songs since my husband and I didn't want group dances. We had 2 separate areas for music, the cocktail location and then the main area for the reception and everyone thought the music was great. Could hear everything and people weren't straining to hear or felt out of their era since there was a plethora of music.

We used MSE for our ceremony music/cocktail music with a trio, and then also used Steve as our DJ. The ceremony music/cocktail music was excellent! My dad was extremely impressed, and many other guests paid high compliments to them! Steve was great as a DJ. He accomodated my request to do a "surprise" first wedding dance, and that's what made my night! He did an excellent job with it, and also kept the dance floor going all night! My guests were very impressed, as I was that the dance floor was always packed! Thanks again for making our wedding day incredible! I would definitely recommend you to other brides!

MSE productions was invaluable in selecting a fantastic band for our reception. I didn't have a very clear idea of what I was looking for but, after a brief conversation with Miles, he sent out a DVD with sample performances from about 20 bands that fit the bill. Miles was very helpful in negotiating with the band for a longer set and he was even able to get a portion of the band to play during the cocktail hour.

And the band he helped us find, Nightsong, was hands-down the best wedding band we have ever seen.

My wife and I want to thank you for an incredible job at our wedding on Saturday. I am glad that I did not send you my dinner playlist -
I figured out that the only person who would have enjoyed my 80s mix was me. You did an awesome job playing the instrumental music
during dinner so everyone could talk. My Dad had a compliment for you regarding this - he really liked how you waited until dinner ended
before starting the dance music. He attended a wedding in New York and could not even have a conversation with a friend that he had not
seen for years because the DJ started blasting the dance music as soon as dinner started. I am so glad that our friend recommended MSE and
we were assigned you. Other highlights include - the pacing of the music with the older songs first for the older couples to enjoy dancing, playing
the piano conclusion of "Home Sweet Home" after I said something about it (I did not think that you could hear me) ending too soon, and especially the assistance you gave to my wife and I with our pacing of "Meet and Greet" at the tables and eating our food. That was so considerate of you and I had never seen that before at a wedding. We really appreciate how you went above and beyond and you will be recommended highly by me whenever anyone I know gets married. Thank you for making a great night even greater.

Through the recommendation of my wedding planner, we were able to book MSE Production for our ceremony music, cocktail hour, and the DJ for our reception. We decided to go with the Pendulum Trio which best fit with our style of music; Mr. Stiebel was actually the violinist in the group (it was a nice surprise!) Needless to say, the music was perfect, and everything we had requested was played beautifully. Mr. Stiebel was also very easy to work with and was quick to respond to questions via email and phone. We also booked the DJ for the reception (Mr Steve Burrows) and many people commented how great and fun the music was for dancing. Overall, the costs for the entire wedding was also very affordable. I highly recommend this reliable vendor!!

Background:
We had seen a traditional jazz trio play @ Fair Oaks mall during the Dec.10 holiday season & we queried mall management about who they were.
Turns out it was a group from MSE Productions & that led us to contact Miles Stiebel - their president.

We met Miles on a Saturday in early 2011 @ his offices in Reston & were impressed with his knowledge of current music & the classic "standards".
After speaking with Miles & exchanging ideas, we reached a contract agreement a couple of weeks later for live ceremony & cocktail music accompaniments and reception DJ @ our River Creek Country Club wedding.

Details - MSE provided us with:
1) A traditional Jazz Trio + Vocalist for our ceremony & cocktail hour.
2) DJ for our reception.

Our Feedback:
Jazz Trio + Female Vocalist:
1) Did a perfect jazzy vocal interpretation of Bruno Mars' 'Marry You' for the processional
2) They also did another vocal interpretation of 'Just the Way You Are' by Bruno Mars for my bride aisle walk.
3) & the recessional was to a vocal led jazz acoustic interpretation of the Beatles' 'All You Need is Love'.
4) Our guests loved the class this group lend to the event & made the cocktail hour flow easily & fun!
It was ALL SO PERFECT for an outdoor spring wedding!

DJ:
1) Mike was our the DJ that MSE assigned to us. He was very easy going & laid back to deal with.
2) Spoke on the phone with him on 2 occasions.
3) Took our suggestions, song list and mixed & spun a nice easy dinner portion leading into a very fun dance portion that included a conga line inside & outside the venue!
4) He was a pro at dealing with all the logistics of being a spinner & emcee that we threw at him & partnering with our coordinator & the venue staff to facilitate the scheduling.
5) Finally DJ Mike got all the VIP names pronounced correctly - they got up when called upon easily! LOL!

Miles Stiebel:
1) Miles was easy to deal with & took our ideas & made it better!
2) Going in we had an idea of having the trio & vocalist do the Glee version of Bruno Mars' 'Marry You' for the processional but Miles suggested letting the trio do their own interpretation of the song. Needless to say we thought their resulting acoustic version was fabulous & basing on guest's reactions - they were impressed also.
3) Miles also was very accommodating during the contract negotiation & we were appreciative of his partnership in making things fit for our wedding's budgetary needs.
4) Miles is very quick in responding to emails & phone calls & checked in with us leading up to & after the wedding.
5) Miles made live music accessible & available for our private event!

DJ Randy was excellent! He was professional, punctual, and did a great job selecting music that got everyone on their feet dancing.

I just got married on Saturday and Steve was our DJ. He was fantastic! My husband loves Metallica, I love hip-hop and my family is Haitian -- needless to say Steve had a lot of people to please in terms of musical selection. Thankfully he handled it with ease. He was great about leading everyone through their toasts and providing direction to the wedding party for the entrance. Most importantly, I asked him to keep people dancing all night and he did just that! He followed our instructions precisely and all of our guests commented on how great the music was throughout the evening.

I used MSE Productions to DJ my wedding and they were fabulous! Steve was our DJ, and he was very helpful in herding everyone for our intros and toasts, and he really adhered to our request and do not play list. He had a great sense of what the group liked and was very responsive. Everyone was on the dance floor and had a wonderful time!

My venue recommended MSE & I'm so happy they did! Miles is very friendly & got every song I needed for the wedding. I used a lot of songs that they didn't have but they just pulled them from i-tunes. Steve Burrows was our DJ & was amazing. He kept everyone on the dance floor & was NOT cheesy! That was big to us. Thanks again!!! :)

Miles was great to work with; he was professional, flexible and had several suggestions that were helpful in making our wedding day a success. Our DJ, Steve, was great to work with - - the timing of the toast and the cake cutting changed at the last minute and Steve was able to roll with the changes. He had everyone dancing, even the kids!

Miles is very personable, helpful and responsive. he even came on my wedding day and played the ceremony music himself. It was a welcome surprise, but since we had heard him play the violin in his offices earlier, I knew the music was something I didn't have to worry about. Miles has a great handle on the company, and is always involved which makes a big difference. The cost was very reasonable and the company came highly recommended.

Our DJ was very nice and not over the top at all. No crowd games etc, which we said we didn't want. The only thing I would change was that he played the wrong first dance song, so I had to give an impromptu speech while he found the song. Then during the night he played 'our song' again by accident during the all-dance part of the evening. not a big deal, and the guests loved it. Otherwise, a a good mix of music that I asked for.

MSE Productions provided a classical trio for our ceremony, a jazz ensemble for the cocktail hour, and a DJ for the reception. The ceremony & cocktail hour music was just what I had hoped for, and it was particularly nice that Miles, himself, played. The DJ (Steve Burrows) was very professional and had everyone dancing all night long. Working with Miles was such a pleasure. He had great suggestions and was very accommodating, particularly in coordinating with my vocalist for her solo. Based on my experience, I would not hesitate to recommend MSE Productions to my friends & colleagues for their events.

My experience with MSE Productions, specifically with Miles, was superb from start to finish. Among my vendors, he was the only one who always called me back. My venue had a lot of limitations -- no DJ, no amplified music, no mics -- I wanted something more than a lone guitarist but didn't know what. Miles was able to sense what I wanted without me even expressing it and the duo he provided could not have been more perfect. The band consisted of an acoustic guitarist and a string bass player. The bass player also brought a flute, so we got some bonus variety. Miles promised that these guys could play anything. They did and they even knew our somewhat obscure song requests. All in all, Miles delivers what he promises and is fantastic to deal with. 5 stars all around!

Every aspect of my wedding to which MSE contributed (Fresh Air Band; screen and projector for slide show) was perfect. The band was worth every cent; the screen was placed in a great location where all the guests could view the slide show from their seats; the projector sized everything perfectly for the screen -- nothing running off the screen and no unused white space; and the sound was just right. I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out :)

MSE Productions is a wonderful music service! We used them for both DJ and musician services for our special day. The fact that we could take care of all of our musical needs with one vendor had great appeal to us. Miles and his staff were great to work with. The musicians (a flute and guitar duo) performed during the ceremony and the cocktail hour and were wonderful. I loved every song they played and it made our ceremony all that more special to have live music. When we chose a special song for our unity candle lighting, they had no problem performing it and it was beautiful. The DJ (Randy) was wonderful as well. Our pre-wedding chat with him to discuss our musical likes and dislikes as well as the style of the reception went great. He was very professional and just what we wanted in a DJ. He was great at reading the crowd and when something didn't work, he quickly found something that did. We danced all night long and everyone had a blast! A big "Thank You" to MSE Productions for providing wonderful music for our wedding day!

I can't say enough good things about MSE Productions! We used the Key Bridge 3 for our ceremony and reception, and they sounded great. They were particularly accommodating to our music selections and even arranged an instrumental version of a contemporary song for us as our reception entrance. Very reasonable price and some of the nicest people you'll ever deal with, too.

MSE was very reasonably priced, and provided such great service. My husband and I put together a list of 25 songs we liked and would like to hear and the rest was up to the DJ. He was great! The dance floor was never empty and everyone had a wonderful time. My friend even had a hard time deciding whether to get cake or leave the dance floor, she skipped the cake.

My wife Teresa and I learned about Miles through her mom, who has worked with MSE Productions before. We had been trying to arrange for a live jazz duo with a different local vendor, who had not been as responsive as you would expect...so we took the business card from Teresa's mom, called Miles, and are SO happy that we did so. First of all, we knew Miles was a top caliber musician, but we did not know that he was such a pleasant businessman to work with. He and his senior consultant Lisa were able to translate our vision for an outdoor ceremony with live music (the jazz duo) and then transitioning indoors to a DJ who would play uptempo wedding jazz during dinner (between two rooms no less) and then build things up for a few hours of non-stop dancing after the cake was enjoyed! The Jazz Duo was wonderful (they played everything from the classic Pachelbel's "Canon in D" to the Beatles' "In My Life") and even braved some cool October breezes, while our DJ (Steve) took the extensive list of songs we gave him to choose from, and he selected and timed a truly enjoyable evening. DJ Steve even helped us calm things down at the end of the night so the managers of our event venue could safely get all of our guests escorted out just as our contract expired. I give them an A+ and recommend MSE Productions without reservation; they were fun to work with, and our guests have been raving about how much the music added to their enjoyment of our event.

We used MSE productions to find a DJ for our reception. We interviewed two DJ's recommended by MSE and chose Randy Platts. Randy was a great DJ at the reception. He played the music that we requested and played music that kept the guests dancing.

Miles at MSE production was very helpful and professional. Both our DJ Steve and the harpist Linda did a great job.

The harp and flute together sounded absolutely beautiful during our ceremony.

Randy was our DJ. We should have been much more specific with what music to play when. his equipment great. personality great. but i didnt' like all the music. we only chose first 3 dance songs and our entrance songs and asked for smooth jazz at dinner (his suggestion was jazz which i hate and love classical so maybe should have done that) so at one point we had to say stop song was too lively to digest to and far too loud. He responded immediately fading out and putting on a better song. he was hard working to find a song we needed for traditional dance and he actually found it and explained it and asked people to dance and they did. That was great. Randy was great but we shoudl have done more work on our own and selected individual songs from start to finish or at least half so he'd understand better what our tastes were.

Holly was our harpist for wedding. My musician friends said she was great. I missed most as i was a tad distracted. She was kind and responsive and professional. She suggested songs for the event and played what we asked (even those not on the list) and she was prompt and looked great in our setting. Harp was so great. Thanks Holly!

he was the first person we met (he had Randy there to meet us when we interviewed him) we liked them and liked he had sample music of his musicians to play and we hired him on the spot. Simplest decision we made for the wedding.Thanks!

The music at my wedding (a trio) was lovely, and all of the musicians looked very professional. It was very easy to book them, and they were even willing to download a different version of a song that I wanted a week or two before the wedding.

I used to work with MSE when I did special events and so I mmediatly went to them for the DJ for my wedding. My fiance and I put together a lsit of songs for cocktails, dinner and dancing and said here's a few base the rest off of what you see her and it worked out perfectly! We had the few assigned songs, first dance, father daughter, mother son, garter toss etc etc and our DJ had every song we wanted we didn't have to worry about anything. He was all set up by the time we arrived at the reception (early) and everyone had an amazing time at the reception. Our DJ was steve and he was also very responsive by phone when we got closer to the date, all in all it was a greta experience

We booked "Fresh Air" band for our wedding reception music through Miles and people are STILL raving about how awesome our band was! The band leader, Jim, was very flexible and accomodating with my many specific requests and made our night so enjoyable and memorable!

Four of my friends have used MSE Productions for their wedding, so naturally I wanted to use them as well. Donnie was the DJ for all my friends’ weddings, but unfortunately my wedding date fell on his anniversary. I tried to get him to bring his wife to the wedding, but it didn't happen. Everyone at MSE stepped up and made sure I had a great DJ for my special day.

MSE provided a DJ for our wedding reception. Donnie was very accomodating with meetings, often meeting later in the evening after I got off work. He is very experienced in the field so everything ran smoothly at the reception. The music was wonderful. We had such a wide variety that we wanted played and Donnie brought it all. The "Kunkel Duo" played beautiful music during, before (happy hour) & after (another happy hour) our ceremony. They were superb, playing guitar, ukulele, flute & string bass. Wow, check out Gerry Kunkel's bio! And, they wore tuxedo's and used a battery amplifier. They will play anything you want- classic rock, jazz, love songs and more. They are very versatile and professional and they made our ceremony so memorable & classy. Thank you very, very much. Our guests still talk about you!!

Donnie was an awesome DJ! He was very easy to work with throughout the entire planning process. Onour wedding day, he kept us on schedule, and he played great music!
We also had a harpist and a flutist play for our ceremony. All of our correspondence with them was positive. The music was absolutely beautiful! They really made our ceremony special!

We had a flute and harp for our ceremony and they were awesome. We had to move the ceremony inside at the last minute and they were very accomodating.
The DJ, Donnie Bradley, kept everything moving, but we forgot he was there because he just kind of faded into the background (in a good way).
He played a great mix of music and was flexible with changing the order of introductions, toasts, etc.
The price was very reasonable for what we wanted.

MSE is a great company to work with, prompt responses and very knowledgeable people who answer your questions. Their musicians arrived dressed impeccably and sounded great. We had a flutist and classical guitarist and our guests loved having the live music for the ceremony and cocktail hour.

I have recommended this company to many brides who have used them and have been just as happy as I was. They are great DJs and know what to play when the crowd is lively or dying down. They send you a list of songs you want played during certain events throughout the night. It helps with keeping things on track and they always let you know when you're going past a certain time. They are very good about listening to what the bride and groom want. I always say a DJ makes the wedding and these DJs definitely stay up to the tast. I have seen about 4 or 5 of their djs between my wedding and many others and every time they are just as good as the time before.

Miles and staff are fantastic to work with. We got our raggae band through them, and everyone loved them. Great decision.
