Rob Aitken was the very best! Very responsive by email and very flexible and open to my ideas. Our guests had a great time. We have a running joke with several people who attended the wedding who constantly said "I love this song" so much during the evening!

Ron was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful when picking out wedding songs that would match our personalities. His D.J.was well dressed, punctual and flexible - easily going with the flow of the night. I chose this DJ because he had the highest recommendation and was also had the best pricing for our needs.

What music genres are in your collection?

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes

Describe your DJ style:

Very open to the couple's thoughts, suggestions and requests.

Is there a limit to the amount of music that can be requested?

We offer the client and their guests as much control as possible within reason.

What is your usual attire?

Shirt and tie in most cases.

If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?

We have one of the largest song selections in Ontario. If we don't have it we will try our best to go out and purchase the CD.

How many other DJs do you work with?

What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?

Usually 4 hours.

Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?

Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?

We have a very large selection of various ethnic music.

Can the client submit a do-not-play list?

yes, absolutely

Do you bring your own equipment?

What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?

How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?

Usually about 1/2 an hour. Most halls provide a table.

Do you have any extra space requirements?

Not usually.

Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events?

A small discreet sign.

Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?

That is up to the client.

How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing?

Music speaks louder than words. The right music choices will usually do the trick however if the crowd needs a bit of motivation we will take care of it.

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

No musical breaks. A meal is nice but not an obligation.

Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?

Not applicable.

What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?

We have a multi layered back up plan including our utility person who is there to roam from function to funtion wherever he is needed.

Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day?

One event per DJ.

What is your overtime rate?

$50.00 per hour

Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?

Yes, depends on the location.
