MUSIC MIXED INTELLIGENTLY

Wow! I just got back from my honeymoon and have countless emails, texts and messages and FB posts from guests saying it was the best wedding ever! I know that was in good part to DJ Raphael Gordon and his MMI ally. I can echo all the positive comments previously made by others and just say THANK YOU! Raphael is professional, exceptional,energetic, reliable and warm.

I could not have imagined a better party. PERIOD.

We booked MMI about 6 months prior- Raphael met with us to discuss the contract and we even skyped to talk more :-) He reviewed our interests, provided guidance and worked with us on a few out of the box items! We have a diverse crowd with a focus on latin and old skool and he nailed it! We told him we are fun people and all we want is people dancing the night away and that's exectly what happened- from the flower girl to the groom's grandma and everyone in between: Be prepared for hearing constant "oh !@#$ , that's my song!". Our music interests ranged, and he played: salsa, bachata, merengue, cumbia, vallenato, old skool, hip hop, free style, motown, R&B, club & house.

Being in NYC you run into talented DJ's out there- but to find someone that has the right selection, can mix beautifully, and speak so elegantly is a rare blend and I am so glad I found Raphael! He was referred to me; do yourself (and him) a favor: contract him and refer him, too!

Raphael was amazing and I would highly recommend him! He was always very professional and reliable. He was a pleasure to work with, which made the planning process so easy.

Raphael’s performance exceeded our expectations. He not only knew the right song to get everyone on the dance floor but he knew the right songs to keep them there. Thanks to Raphael the dance floor was packed all night. After our wedding, we received so many compliments about our DJ and the selection of music he played. Still to this day, our friends and family tell us that our wedding was by far the most fun.

I love Rafael Gordon. He is the epitome of a DJ. His voice makes you feel as if you have professional master of ceremonies. He has a large repetoire of music. His packages are very affordable for the services provided. Book early becuase he is in high demand. He will keep the party going.

From the cocktail hour to the end of the reception, Raphael had EVERYONE out on the dance floor, which was amazing! My husband and I come from a southern and Caribbean/Spanish background, so we requested everything from R&B to the Bachata, and Raphael made it all flow smoothly! He was even able to get my church family out on the floor! We also decided to do a surprise first dance mix and he did an excellent job in working with us on that. We also got some other special add-ons to the package, and Raphael was wonderful and patient in keeping us on track with everything. He is available via phone or emailand could be reached easily, which was a big help to us as well .

Raphael was the dj at my best friend's wedding the year before and we had really liked his professionalism and style - so, it was an easy choice to book him for our wedding. Given the short turnaround time we had, it was hard to keep track of all the details and get all of the to-do list done. We still didn't have our songs chosen or preferred music list set a week before the wedding - Raphael was very patient with us and helped guide us through things. Our guests raved about his friendly and fun style. He managed to get all 250 of our guests onto the dance floor at one point or another. Seeing our friends and families dancing and having a great time is one of the memories I will treasure from our wedding day.

It is true what they say, people might not necessarily remember the menu cards, the centerpieces, or the other details that you agonized over for monnths but they will definitely remember how much FUN they had! Raphael was the ONLY DJ we met and the only vendor we booked immediately without even seeing him perform so you know he must be good at what he does! I'm still getting comments on how good of a time it was, he even got my Maid of Honor's fiance on the dance floor who NEVER dances! And yes the dance floor was packed all night and did I mention it was a WEDS night! And his voice is really nice too...not that annoying DJ crap that you may have experienced at other events. Very, very professional and he even helped us with the flow of the reception program. We had a Jamaican and mostly Christian crowd but Raphael listened and balanced it well so that I could hear all my Old school reggae songs that I love.He was our best vendor!! You don't need to see anyone else...run to him!!!

Raphael was a great, great DJ. Music was very important to my husband and I-since we wanted our guests to really feel like they were at a party and not just a "wedding" The dance floor was packed and we had a lively Soul Train Line. Everyone complimented me on the music. I also liked that once Raphael and his team arrived, he let me know that they were there but then they just set up by themselves and I didn't have to check back in They are pros, they know what need to get done, so it's one less thing you have to worry about on yur day. I reccomend highly.

We are a Canadian couple who had the crazy idea of getting married in New York. It all worked out in the end, but let's just say we ran into some shady vendors. Like our first DJ, who took our deposit and then disappeared two weeks before our wedding. I thought I was going to have a nervous reakdown, but Raphael Gordon was our miracle. He worked with us from our last minute booking, and never made us feel as though there was noting he would not do for us. He even agreed to do a special mix for our first dance so we could surprise our guests. That was a hit, because my husband never dances. People are still talkng about that and saying how wonderful it was. Our wedding was awesome and Rapahel was a huge part of that. He is very confident, and he delivers on that. He is more than just a DJ, he has the personality to interact with everyone, and to really have the party jumping. I saw my dad with party favors doing a congaline. I was shocked because my dad is very reserved. I did not even know Raphael was going to give out favors, but he just went with the flow of the crowd and it was great. I will recommend him to any and everyone. He provided the music for the ceremony too, and really offered us some great advice about which songs were good, etc. I give him an A+, but even that does not do him justice. Raphael was great! People were on the dance floors as soon as the reception started! He got the crowd going and played a wide range of music for all ages. He was able to incorporate what the young people wanted to hear but made it family friendly for all. He also had top of the line equipment.

Wow wow wow is all i can say about MMIDJ's and Raphael Gordon. People still talk about my wedding until this day. My husband still talks about it at least once per month and says it was one of the best days of his life. The main reason for that is because we had MMIDJ's as our wedding entertainment. The dance floor was packed from beginning to end. My husband and I didn't sit down until we had to eat dinner or cut the cake. When the music died down for the cake cutting and while people were eating, everyone by that time was itching to get up and dance some more. There were women dancing with their shoes off, men (young and old) doing splits on the dance floor, young children break dancing. If i ever have another event MMIDJ's will definitely be my first choice of entertainment. I have recommended them to family members and my family members and friends could not be happier with the service they received.
