My fiance and I got blessed to get these two wonderful women to get our engagment pics done with. Our wedding photographer was on maternity leave. I thank her all the time for recomending them. They captured the true love between us and had the patience of Jobe. We got stuck in traffic that ran an hour into our scheduled time and they just smiled and said no stress! Also they were so wonderful with our two dogs we brought along. Absolutely the best!! Can't wait to use them again in my future!!

Kat and Rachel were the absolute best! Ian and I wanted our wedding to reflect us and our personalities. The girls at Mustard Seed did an amazing job capturing that. They perfectly photographed the life and heartbeat of the day. By the end of night I felt like they were my friends. I love our wedding pictures. Ian and I will definitely be using Mustard Seed again when our family grows!

Kat with Mustard Seed Photography was awesome! We loved her and we loved our photos! Kat photographed our engagements, our wedding/rehearsal and then after wedding bridal portraits. There were so many pictures to choose from and such selection. Despite what she says we are not photographic at all and it was really her skill and direction that made the photos so great. We would highly recommend her and Rachel, the editor who accompanied us on one session, to anyone looking for wedding pictures, engagments, bridals, family portraits-- pretty much anything! Thank you Kat and Rachel for capturing so many of our memories on that special day! We really appreciate all of your hard work!

Kat at Mustard Seed was so friendly and really worked with my husband and me as our wedding plans changed. We originally had plans for a medium sized wedding (and more hours of photography) but finally decided on a very small wedding. We could tell that she cared about our experience and wanted to make our wedding day photos special. She was really sweet, and my bridesmaids and I enjoyed her company while she was taking photos as we were getting ready.

We loved Kat! Kat did an incredible job with our wedding ceremony and reception photography. We feel lucky to have found her! One of my biggest fears for my big day was not having a photographer. After searching through countless companies and finding that I was not satisfied with their profiles or prices I met Kat. She definitely made me feel at ease and took great pictures. I will always cherish the memories she captured for my husband and I.

WOW!!!! What an amazing job on our photos! I can't begin to tell you how
phenomenal the photos look! You did such an amazing job of capturing us
in the moment. I love, love, love how your eye caught us through the
camera lens.

All I wanted was a photographer who shot photos candidly and not "posed", and Kat's team did just that! We look natural, and happy with out frozen smiles. Not only did she give us the entire day to shoot our morning wedding, but the album and the cd with over a thousand photos came with in only a week after the wedding.

I recommend Mustard Seed Photo to any bride!

Mustard Seed did an amazing job at capturing all our important moments of our wedding. I felt so relaxed with Mustard Seed taking our photos, which is just what I needed after being super stress with last minute disasters that come along with planning a wedding. We are extremely pleased with our photos, especially since I never felt that the cameras were in our face, however they seem to have capture every second! : ) Kat is an amazing photographer and Rachel is equally as amazing a capturing the perfect picture, they are a dynamic duo!

Most amazing photos ever; I would recommend them to any bride or anyone, she is worth every penny and more!

Hand editing - photo by photo. Mustard Seed Photography has a full time on-staff paid editor (aka Rachael - email her at rachael@mustardseedphoto.com if you have specific questions about our editing practices)

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?

Great experience shooting in various lighting situations, including restricted situations like Catholic Weddings (or other church weddings)

Is your media preference film or digital?

Digital

How many photographers do you work with?

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?

Yes, and we have back up photographers on hand just in case ;)

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?

On the day of your wedding, you are the only person I will see.

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?

Yes!

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?

Canon Professional SLR, Portrait Lenses, Telephoto Lenses, Prime Lenses, Macro Lenses, Tripods, On and off-camera flash equipment., etc...

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?

Yes!

Do you charge hourly or full day?

We charge by hourly blocks - depending on the package you select.

Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?

Yes! Rates are incorporated into packages. But if the bride only booked 6 hours, and she needs me there for 7 - we can work something out. Making that kind of change shouldn't cause any stress on the bride.

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

Meals and breaks can be taken while I work. If the bride & groom have extra food, we'll happily eat it :)

Do you charge for travel?

Yes, beyond greater Houston area.

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?

For weddings, with in 5 weeks. 
For engagement sessions, within 3 weeks.

In what format are the initial proofs offered?

Via blog, via online photogallery, and via CD with High Resolution images ready for printing.

How long can the client keep the proofs?

Forever! All of our customers are given a CD with each high resolution image taken on the day of the wedding!

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?

Yes - so be sure and mention Mustard Seed Photography when people ask where you got your photos! But aside from that, we're pretty relaxed.

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?

Yes! If you're comfortable with it, we'd love to put you directly on the website!

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?

Yes! All of our customers are given a CD with each high resolution image taken on the day of the wedding!

Will images be available for viewing online?

Yes - all wedding packages come with an online photo gallery which people can share with all their friends and family. It remains online for 6 months after the wedding.

What kind of albums do you offer?

When will the client get the final album?
