My Bellissima Wedding & Special Events planners, Kara and Laura, are absolutely elegantly, exceptional party planners. They are so imaginative and brillant in their designs and ideas. They give you that special touch with their warmth and friendliness. They planned a wedding that was everything we expected and more. Kara and Laura are gems. I am in the process of planning my wedding with My Bellissima and I have to say, they are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I cannot have imagined having a wedding without Kara and Laura. They provided the Week of Day of service for my husband and I...it was without a doubt the greatest gift we could have given ourselves. The My Bellisima girls made sure that all of the details were taken care of. They confirmed all of our vendors, they made sure everything was in place and BEAUTIFUL. The best part was, they made sure my husband and I could enjoy our day. Kara and Laura made my husband and I feel like we were the only bride and groom in the world. These women are AMAZING at what they do!! Every bride should have their own Laura & Kara. I went into planning thinking that no wedding could be perfect, that something is bound to go wrong. But with My Bellissima on my side, my wedding was my dream come true. It was my perfect day. I could never thank My Bellissima enough for all they did!! Bridal Fashion Trends for 2010!
As consultants of all things bridal, we at My Bellissima are always on the lookout for new ideas and what is most popular in the wedding fashion world. We have taken note of the following trends for bridal dresses and accessories from various sources, so that you can keep them in mind when making choices for your own special day in 2010!
Off the shoulder dresses: add that little something extra to the very popular "simply strapless" look that has characterized bridal fashion for the past few years. This look is so feminine and shows just the right amount of skin (highlighting the neckline and clavicle) to show off a brides beautiful upper body in a classy way, without being raunchy or distasteful.
Tulle and net: Lace was the "it fabric" for 2009, but this year is all about embracing something different! These sheer fabrics add texture and drama (whether layered over an entire dress or just the skirt).
Statement Jewelry: Though oversized jewelry has been "in" in the mainstream for quite some time it had never really taken flight in wedding couture until now. Big necklaces, string of pearls, and dressy earrings have been all over bridal runways.
Hair accessories: The "birdcage" netting look has become very popular, as well as headbands and other fascinators.
