Initially, I thought hiring a wedding coordinator/wedding planner was a waste of money, and that anyone could do the job. But I was totally wrong!! The day of the wedding ran so smoothly and most importantly, I was completely stress-free. Christine and her posse did an amazing job organizing, communicating, and making sure everything went perfectly, which it absolutely did. Everyone said that it was the most perfect wedding they had ever been to!! I cannot say enough about Christine’s day-of execution, not to mention all the month-of planning that she helped with. Christine took charge and contacted all of my vendors to make sure all of their insurance documents were in and all contracts were signed, worked out a day-of schedule and coordinated with all of my vendors to make sure everything was set up and delivered on time and to perfection. I would have gone insane without her......she was a God-send. Seriously....my wedding turned out to be even better than I could have ever imagined...

I just got married in June. Esther at MBS helped me design and plan my wedding. Esther and her team were amazing! I was nervous at first to hand over everything to a wedding planner, but Esther proved time and time that she’s got everything under control. Esther is always professional, organized, responsive, friendly and most importantly, trustworthy.

Esther’s ideas, insight and experience are invaluable in the crazy world of wedding planning. There are so many decisions to be made and a ton of options to choose from. It’s easy to get overwhelmed. It was nice to have a seasoned planner/designer on my team to help me navigate through the sea of decisions.

Both me and my now husband didn’t worry about a thing the day of the wedding because we knew Esther had a handle on everything. The day was perfect, at least from our perspective. All of our guests still rave about what a wonderful time they had at our wedding.

The hubs and I wanted to keep our wedding simple, heartfelt, and meaningful. We didn't want to do things just because it's always done at weddings and we tried to stay true to ourselves as possible.

Christine of MBS was THE key reason why our vision for our wedding was executed so amazingly. She listens, is patient, and was truly excited for our ideas.

Hiring Christine proved to be an investment in the day itself - it allowed us to enjoy the moment while she would let us know what was coming up on the schedule of events, or if something needed to be switched around. This is SO IMPORTANT, future brides! You don't want to be running around on your wedding day wondering if your cake has arrived on site or if guests are feeling lost as to what's going on at the reception.

Our wedding was a little different in that we had a buffet lunch reception for family, friends, and church community with open seating. We then hosted an evening party for the young folks at an art gallery in Downtown LA with awesome DJ's and an open bar. It was a way for us to mix a traditional celebration with a modern one. I was a nervous about this format since I've never been to a wedding where this was done, but Christine just got it right when we shared our ideas with her. If you're trying something new/untraditional, I would recommend going with MBS who will embrace your ideas, give you critical feedback and help you work out all those logistical kinks.

Final note is that the hubs and I are both Korean American. Having a wedding coordinator who speaks Korean was a godsend in communicating with the monolingual guests at our wedding. My parents loved Christine because she was respectful of the Korean customs that make social gatherings work.

She is really warm and encouraging and made me really excited for the big day. At one point we had surprises for our guests and she was the only one I could tell without ruining the surprise and she said "that's what I'm here for!" And she really was there for us.

On the day of the wedding, she was graceful and checked in with us on a periodic basis without overburdening us. She only asked us for things when she knew it would be important to us, otherwise she carried out our directions, schedule and plan as we discussed. This helped me and my husband truly enjoy our day. She was very attentive to us and always let us know when things were running behind to see if we wanted to skip anything or move things around. I didn't realize that this is what I needed in a planner until the wedding day was over. I realized how important it is that they be able to figure things out on their own and have good judgement calls on when to ask you questions.

Most importantly, the top layer of my wedding cake fell off in transport and Christine and her crew helped save our cake! She set it up with some flowers from our florist and no one even knew anything happened to it.

Christine and the staff she brought for that day were always professional and were practically invisible to all of our guests. That's how I know that they were really doing their jobs. Everything went so well that no one even knew how all of our details and events happened in such an organized way.

I definitely recommend using My Bride Story and I know that they have excellent taste for designing as well. Thanks Christine and Crew!

I got married in April, and had a wedding I will remember forever.
At first, I was frustrated and didn't understand why venues nowadays require professional coordinator.
Bottom line, YOU DO NEED ONE, and you MUST hire My Bride Story. I am very, very, very detail-oriented, and the biggest worry bug. Well, Sally and Esther endured my email invasions until late into the nights, until the night before the wedding, when I was still changing things around.
The wedding surpassed my expectation BY FAR, and I know this would have been impossible without My Bride Story team. I'm getting goosebumps as I say this. You need a coordinator who is young, energetic who shares the same vibe as you, INTELLIGENT, someone who is passionate about what they do. MBS team is flawless, impeccable, heaven-sent. Brides spend lots of money and time to make their wedding day perfect....without a coordinator who orchestrate all that chaos, that will not happen.
I love MBS, I got my moneys *10* times worth through their service. Can't give them five stars, but FIFTY stars if I could! GO MBS!!!

We cannot begin to express our gratitude to Esther for making all of our hopes and dreams for our wedding come to life. Esther is truly dedicated to her work and is passionate about making all things beautiful. She really took the time to understand our style/personalities and was so great about sending us new ideas and inspirations. We could not have asked for a more beautiful wedding and most importantly, our guests loved the experience. Being a bride can be really stressful and Esther made the experience so much easier by having wonderful relationships with quality vendors, paying attention to every detail and executing magazine-worthy designs with her impeccable style. Her staff is absolutely wonderful and if there were any hiccups on our wedding day, I certainly didn’t notice! I would have to say that the best part about working with Esther is that she became my friend and just by watching her, I learned so much about family and love and that a job can be so much more than a just a job.

A wedding coordinator is a MUST for every bride, and Esther truly made our day special. I had no clue of going about planning a wedding nor did I have the time to do so. On my search for the perfect coordinator, I came upon My Bride Story's Blog. Her blog gave me a sense of who she was and I contacted her right away. Upon meeting her in person, I truly felt that she was sincere and passionate. For the next six months, she was always there to respond to my crazy questions and really walk me through this process. I've heard plenty of stories about day of coordinators being a must but I still had my doubts since I'm so particular about everything! But since my fiance pushed for me to ENJOY my day rather than work through it, we decided to meet with a few planners. I met with 2 others before Esther but from the moment she smiled and waved hello, I knew the search was over! Her warm friendly smile and excitement to learn more about us immediately helped me release some of my trust and control issues!

Esther was only my day of coordinator but she definitely did MUCH more than just day of work. From the moment we agreed to work together she was attentive to every email and phone call, no matter how ridiculous the detail or question! Her ideas were definitely fresh and she was very tasteful in her responses, making sure not to put down any of my own ideas or visions for the wedding. She went beyond day of coordinator duties by offering referrals and assistance to tasks before the wedding date! I honestly don't think I would've felt prepared without her!

The wedding day was an ABSOLUTE DREAM COME TRUE!!! Honest to God, there is NOTHING I would change about my wedding day and that's not an easy thing for a bride to say! Esther and her team were on top of everything and everyone. Either they were really good at fixing things that went wrong, or they did everything right the first time and had nothing wrong to fix! The entire event went smoothly and all my guests and family members were amazed at how beautiful and fun the night was....even my 92 year old grandmother made it out to the dance floor! A wedding coordinator is a definite must when planning a wedding, even for the most organized and detailed oriented bride! Esther and her team were a HUGE part in making sure that my husband and I had BEST day of our life - on our wedding day.

Esther listened to all of my ideas and provided wonderful suggestions to compliment my vision and style. And more importantly, she always delivered! I did not have to worry about anything on the day of - as she and her team made sure that all of the details we had discussed prior were executed. She was also able to deal with our international guests (many of whom could not speak English), to make sure that everyone had a good time. Our relatives and friends were definitely impressed! Esther and her team rocked!

Besides saying "yes," Esther was the best decision I made. We recently had our wedding a week ago and Esther was professional, hardworking, creative and trustworthy. I think one of Esther's best qualities is her flexibility. She allowed me to be me. She understood my budget constraints and had helpful advice on how to trim things so I could truly have the wedding of my dreams. She gave us some great referrals too, that actually saved us money. If any bride out there is questioning whether or not to use a coordinator in these hard financial times I would say YES! Esther did an amazing job for our wedding November 7th and she truly helped us save some major bucks along the way and I got to have the most elegant and amazing wedding on a budget. I was refered to Esther through a girlfriend of mine who used her for her special day and Iam forever grateful I did. She has not only become my coordinator but also a wonderful friend who is a professional and will really look at things in detail to make sure your day goes smoothly. Esther was amazing! She was very professional and on top of things during my wedding. I honestly could not have done this without her help. Everything went smoothly. She was easy to talk to, work with, and everything went as planned. This was the best investment of the wedding.

Esther was definitely the absolute best choice that we made for our wedding!! from start to finish... she was 100% always there to help us and make decisions. She is really great with working with your budget and making your 'dream' wedding come to reality!!! Not only that, she worked with all the vendors to make sure that everything went smoothly the day of.
I had over 300 guests at our wedding this past June and our venue, the LA River Center and Gardens was a bit small for fitting 300 people but everyone was still talking about how smoothly it went!!
Also, our venue was hard b/c we had to rent everything!! from chairs, to tables, to linens, to plates... we had sooo many different vendors to work with.. and when the day of came, Esther handled it all!! When we first started working together, she helped me choose vendors and actually went with me to some of our vendors to get me the best price possible...
She was an absolute dream to work with... Looking back at our wedding, Esther was actually the best investment that we made for our special day.

We couldn't have done our wedding without Esther. There was a biggest wildfire around the area on our wedding day causing many things to go wrong, but despite all the craziness Esther just stayed very calm and controlled the chaos and took care of everything smoothly behind the scene. Super professional, organized and also very amazing with family and guests. She made it very easy for us to just focus and enjoy the day and not worry about what could be going wrong. I cannot recommand a more dependable and genuinely sweet person to be responsible for your most important day.

I would recommend Esther as a best wedding planner whom you can trust! Our wedding ended up being such a large wedding with 600+ guests! However, Esther used her creativity, talents and people skills to coordinate everything w/ everyone (which would've been the most stressful part for me) so well that I didn't have to worry about a thing and just enjoy our special day! I'm so thankful for her work and also her friendship. She really goes out of her way to help you out with great ideas and resources which you can't really find on your own. Plus, she respects your style and personal preferences to create a wedding that really expresses "who you are". I heard so many compliments about our wedding even afterwards.
