Erica at Mystic Market did an excellent job with my wedding cake. I got married at Latitude 41 at Mystic Seaport and Coastal Gourmet does the catering for them. They own Mystic Market so my cake was included in my wedding package. When I met with Erica I had a concept that I was going for. When I saw the cake at the venue, it was even better than I could have imagined. The only upcharge was for $10 for Erica to get seashells and sand dollars to decorate the cake.
Included in the price was the top layer of the cake. Unfortunately, we forgot to refrigerate it so we had to throw it out, but Erica said at our initial meeting that she'd bake us a new one for our 1st anniversary if it didn't freeze correctly. We will have to take her up on that offer.
The cake was delicious and I was very happy with everything. Thanks again Erica!

You know your cake was good when EVERY single guest raved about it!!! Erica created a beautifully designed cake with a dynamite flavor. She took a look at some of the sample pictures of cakes that I brought with me..we chatted a little...and then she drew up a design that met all my needs. The style of the cake was absolutely stunning. The frosting was the best buttercream we've ever had.

I wish there was a higher rating than 5 stars! To say the cake was astonishing...would be a huge understatement!! We only provided a photo; they provided us with a masterpiece!! We had the "beach" brought to life in a way that took not only ours, but our guests breath away! Oh, and it tasted amazing too!!

Kind of pricey for the size of the cake but you can't beat the taste. Go for the chocolate and raspberry.
