Mywedding.com offers a lot of different wedding websites choices, all for free. It's easy to design and maintain.

This was one of the best sites that we found for our wedding website. I had made a couple on different sites before I settled on using the one as the main one. There are alot of customization choices. My family really enjoyed all the information that I provided on here.

We used the wedding website for a starting point for our wedding. We realized that not everyone would have access to the internet, but most people did. The site is free, and they have great graphics to chose from. We were able to put up lots of information, and we were also able to add on maps and directions. The only draw back was that our name was already chosen, so we had to be more creative with our domain name.

The majority of our guests are our age, and they all live by their blackberry and the internet. I wanted to post on facebook that Shane and I were getting married, but then a co-worker told me that mywedding.com has free wedding websites for the brides and grooms. I checked it out, it was really easy to use, and from the templates I was able to see all the different types of invitations I could order online to match the website design. I like the website because I was able to contact everyone at once about our engagement, the wedding date, and to ask for their mailing addresses for the real invitation. You can put so much more information and details on a webpage, like photos and songs and our story. It was one of my favorite parts of the wedding planning.

Easy-to-use, nice templates, lots of functionality. We had our guests RSVP via the website, which worked out well. We posted lots of pictures and information about the event, and we received lots of great feedback in return. http://www.mywedding.com/rachelandraj/index.html

After the save-the-date fiasco, we found out that most brides and grooms now email their guests, or make a webpage. We emailed all our guests, but while looking for wedding invitations we came across the mywedding.com and how it lets you make a webpage for free, and then puts you in contact with the seller of the templates so that you can have similar looking invitations. We looked at all the different templates and wedding invitations styles, and choose wedding paper divas because they had the best prices for the number of invitations we needed, plus directions, plus seating cards. In all, for 150 guests, we paid a little over $300. We were able to design everything online, get advice on the wording, speak with a representative to make sure everything was okay, and then they mail you a sample card before mass printing. I think the cards were nice, it was great that we didn't have to make them ourselves. Lily was really happy, my mom thought they were pretty, and I think this was a great company with a great idea. If we could do it again, I would make the website and the also have the matching invitations.

When planning for our wedding, we saw that we could create a webpage about our wedding on mywedding.com. Originally, I don't think I would have sent a 'save the date' card, just because of the cost of postage, and also because this wasn't something that we did in my family. It's also not always necessary to send invitations, either. But as we had lots of friends and co-workers that we wanted to be there, and also because so many of our younger relatives are on the Internet, we thought it was a good idea. It was fun, also, putting up pictures. The best part was that we were able to use our own template, and we got this template from etsy.com. The graphic artist on the etsy made us a really cute template for only ten dollars, and it was much cuter than anything they had. I would have paid more!

My friend had used a webpage instead of save-the-date cards, and I thought that it made sense since it wasted less paper. Once Brock and I confirmed that we had the park, it took me less than twenty minutes to follow through all the directions and make the website. I sent it out by email right away, and then as time wore on I found myself adding more details online. This was usually at work, when I was getting bored, I would add a few more pictures of Brock and I, search the internet for some nice verses, and then added a song. I highly recommend using a website instead of mailing out save-the-date cards, because it saves time and resources.

We found this really nice webpage that lets you create a webpage about your own wedding. I loved it, mainly because we were able to include pictures and music and the story of how we met. I think one draw back of this site is that we couldn't put the pictures where we wanted. Also, there was a limit to how big the picture could be. It would be nice if we had a bit more freedom in how we could place the graphics and stuff. But again, it's free! And we got lots of compliments on it, which indicated that it was a good idea. We only had about 30% of our guests confirm that they would attend the wedding on the online RSVP page, and so we still sent out RSVP cards in the mail. In the end, we still had to call people to find out whether they would be at the wedding.

This was the only time that I acted like a conventional bride! I was being pressured by my co-workers to send out save-the-date cards, which I didn’t think was necessary considering how small the party was. We didn’t have the budget for magnets! But, someone told me that if you signup at mywedding.com, they let you make a homepage all about your wedding for free. Mark and I both know how to make an actual webpage (not that hard), but we were able to make one at mywedding.com without having to register, and there were no pop-ups. It was actually really pretty, and it let Mark and I tell our story to our friends and family about why we wanted to get married.

We were having a very short engagement. Alex always said that he wanted to be engaged for about six months before the wedding, which is a short time to plan and prepare, especially since we have friends who are studying all across the US right now. I knew about mywedding free webpages because this was how another co-worker advertised her wedding date. We were able to let our friends know right away when the wedding date would be, and we were able to include cute engagement pictures on the site, too. The background we choose was cute, but best part was that it was free!

I just saw that projectwedding also lets you make a wedding website! We went with mywedding.com just because it was a site that another friend had used for his wedding, and we thought it was a good idea. I recommend e-save-the-date invites instead of paper invites because it is more convenient. It was easy and free to use, and this meant we saved about $100 and the environment by not getting paper Save-the-date cards.

This is the easy and cheap way of letting everyone know when and where your wedding will be. The web site lets you create a homepage with all your wedding information on it, with links to the location, venue, events, maps, contact information, etc. You can upload music and your pictures, too, to make it more personal. And there are hundreds of background templates to choose from. You are able to buy actual physical invitations that would look like the webpage, but because we were inviting only family and close friends, we thought the email with the link was enough. It is well worth checking out, and can be a modern day solution to the Save the Date cards.

A free website was a great way for us to spread the word that we were engaged and that we had chosen a wedding date. I loved how we were able to write up our story, post pictures, and then ask friends to sign and confirm the guestbook as to whether or not they could make our wedding. There's even an option that lets guests say whether they want the vegetarian meal or not! The shortcoming of this is that many of our relatives are not on the net, so they were a little upset to be left out of the save-the-date frenzy. I felt bad that so many relatives never saw the site, because it was really cute!

We sent out emails as soon as we got engaged, and then a second round of emails with the wedding date we had planned. Because we were sending out invitations two months before the date, we decided to set up a webpage with all the information on it, like where we were going to be registered and where the event was to be held. I liked having a webpage because we were able to include information like why it was such a small event, but how we hoped to see our friends at the ceremony. David did almost all the website work, including choosing a template and uploading pictures while I watched and made suggestions. I think the internet kind of helps people answer the awkward wedding questions. I didn’t want my guests to bring gifts, but if they were going to get something, I think it’s fair to let them know that you’re registered at target. Also, I think many friends and co-workers felt better knowing that I wanted them at the ceremony.

Rob, my husband, works with computers, and wanted to create a website for our wedding. What we did, instead, was create a free webpage for our friends and family. The program was easy to use, and the page looked wonderful. There were hundreds of templates to choose from, and we chose the first one that we liked. I think weddings will become more dependent on the internet with time. What I liked about having a webpage, was that as soon as we knew what date we would have the reception on, we were able to create the page and tell all our friends that lived far away when the party would be. It’s really helpful to be able to give everyone a heads up.

My wife did all the work for this site, so I will give it 5 stars! I think the idea of the website if cute, and we were able to ask friends to forward the link to people that we may have forgotten or that may be interested in our union. We got back lots of emails and some really sweet emails from people who were happy about our engagement. People got to see pictures of us as a couple, and our apartment and details on how we met and stuff like that. The website was good about giving information. I am sure people are now announcing their weddings through twitter.

This was a great place to post pictures of us and our engagement, let people who are far off know that we were getting married, and give them more details. It was especially helpful for more distant relatives who had never met my husband or knew about how we had met and all that. It also has a way to rsvp, which helped for those who don’t like to use snail mail. The rsvp was the best part of the site because it could save you paper on sending rsvp cards. It gave them information on hotel accommodation, registries, and pre-wedding events so we didn’t have to personalize or overcrowd our invitations. These could be used to supplement or replace invitations.

Mywedding.com is a great website to keep everyone up to date about the big day. As soon as I got engaged I created one. It has so many neat things to offer. For example you can tell the story of how the two of you met, tell who the wedding party is, put up all kinds of pictures, people can sign the guest book, and give ideas for what kind of music should be played at the reception. You can add anything you want to this website by just creating a page for it.
