David - we cannot thank you enough for officiating our wedding. I was so impressed with how the service turned out. Brendan and I loved how it was simple, yet meaningful. You truly made our day so special. A lot of people commented on how great the ceremony was. I am very happy that I found you and would highly recommend you to anyone. Thank you again. We can't thank David enough for helping us craft a marriage ceremony that was so uniquely us. David took what he learned about my fiance and me in our initial meeting and helped us design an intimate, spiritual, and happy ceremony that felt so true to who we are as a couple. It's hard to believe we met David for the first time during our wedding planning - instead it feels like our ceremony was led by a lifetime family friend!

I am a married ordained minister and certified Imago Relationship Therapist. My passion is working with couples to create a meaningful ceremony that expresses their commitment, hopes and dreams. Input from the bride and groom is welcome. It starts with a conversation. I have 30 years experience doing every-
thing from traditional to contemporary, interfaith or non-religious yet spiritual wedding services. I am good at leading the rehearsal and bringing families together. I bring wisdom, sacredness, humor and smooth flow to the ceremony.

Yes, I customize it to the preference of the couple.

Do you allow the couple to write their own vows, if desired?

Absolutely!

Do you have a list of readings pre-selected, from which the couple must choose?

No. Couples can choose their own, or rely on me if they wish.

Do you require that premarital counseling be done?

No, but this is an option as I have the professional skills.

Are you willing to perform pre-ceremony rehearsals?

Yes, I do it most of the time.

Additional Advice

Every couple is different. Some are coming in from out of town and have very little time or interest in the detailed planning of the ceremony. They just want assurance of the general sense of the ceremony. Others like to select readings, add other elements (such as music or a Unity Candle) and be involved with the minister in the planning.
I am very flexible to do what is in the best interest and desire of the couple. After all, it's THEIR day!

A minister who believes in marriage, is experienced and comfortable with himself is the best choice. He will impart integrity and relax the bride and groom, as well as put the congregation at ease. Stay away from "dot com" ministers or JPs for a day. Wedding planners will tell you the difference in the outcome!
