Napier Bridal

I found Napier when I saw an advertisement for a sample sale. The store is located just outside downtown St. Paul and from the outside you wouldn't be able to guess how great they are on the inside! The store is run by a mother and daughter who were so helpful and very down to earth...none of that snobby wedding dress shop attitude here. I'm hopelessly indecisive so when I was choosing between two very different dresses they were so patient and really helped me figure out which dress was more "me". They were also really easy going when I came in a couple of extra times to try the sample on with my veil and shoes. I also received an early trunk sale discount on my new dress because the sample was mistakenly in the sale section.I ended up doing my alterations here as well and they did a great job, the dress fit perfectly. The only hiccup was when my dress arrived there was a tiny (but large to a bride:) snag by the zipper. No one would've noticed it but a "bride". The seamstress was able to mostly steam it out but if you order your dress make time to inspect it as soon as it comes into the shop. I waited until a month before the wedding and by then there wasn't time to reorder a new one. I should also mention that I dragged my dress through dirt, grass, alleyways and by the end of the day didn't care too much about a tiny snag or the stains that ended up on the bottom of my dress-I was just having a great time!

I purchased my gown and 5 bridesmaids dresses through Napier Bridal. I found their service to be TOP NOTCH and everything else to be wonderful as well. The employees know me by name when I walk in. I love the small, intimate atmosphere (only 2 appointments at a time!) and personal service received at Napier.

I originally visited Napier after finding them on the Maggie Sottero designer website as a Maggie vendor. I called in advance to determine whether or not they had the particular style I had found online and was interested in seeing.

When visiting, I got very personalized attention, help in and out of the dresses, dresses were grabbed for me, I was able to speak freely about what I did and did not like about particular gowns, and was not pressured into purchasing. I visited with my mother and she was able to sit and relax and enjoy while Judi helped me get dressed. We ended up leaving the store to visit one more place, then coming back to order. The order process was easy, straightforward, and pleasant.

The bridesmaids process was quite simple. I chose the dress, everyone ordered. I received phone calls updating me on the status when they had not heard from an out-of-town bridesmaid for the ordering process. I followed up with her and the order was completed and submitted. My maids never received any sales pressure (all of them got engaged soon after me!) for any future needs, and were not pushed into keeping their alterations at Napier.

When the orders came in, I received very timely communication and VERY much enthusiasm about the ordered product! They were as excited to see my dress on me as I was to put it on.

Judy and Jackie were great and the rest of there staff as well. They were very helpful and intune with what I wanted and the look I was going for. They know there business very well. They went above and beyond the service that I recieved at some other bridal shops when I was looking for my dress. I would definately recommend to anyone and also recommend that they do go with the smaller family owned shops as service is better. You may pay a bit more but the service and quality are far better than going to a chain store.

This place was just like any other bridal shops...lots of dresses and overly "nice" staff. It just happened to be the place that I found the dress that was the one for me. It was a pretty straightforward experience, I tried on several dresses (they had a lot to choose from which was nice) and found my favorite after about an hour. They offered free wedding gown storage until out wedding day, and pressed my dress so it was ready to go for me, very nice.

Napier Bridal had best prices from everywhere we shopped- they are honest people who want to give you the best deal and are not there just to sell you a dress. The dress was beautiful and the service was great, I would recommend if you want to work with genuine people and not some cheesy saleswoman content on telling you everything looks good on you.

jackie- the main girl in this small shop- is great to work with and very helpful. We ended up going with slightly different bridesmaids dresses than I wanted because we could order them through Napier because of how much we enjoyed working with them. Our mothers dresses were the only ones we did not get through Napier.

Both Judy and Jacki were wonderful to work with. They made everything very easy on me and I couldn't have asked for more with them. They were very helpful when ever I had questions and made wonderful suggestions. I bought my dress, shoes, and veil through them. Both of my bridesmaids purchased their dresses there too. They received a discount on their dresses, I received a discount on my veil, and on my dress preservation since I purchased my dress there. I also had my alterations done by their seamstress.
