We got to select the specific versions we wanted for the Bridal Chorus and Wedding March. We specified what music we didn't want played, a few songs we absolutely wanted to hear and Blair took care of the rest. The dinner music he played was perfect background music for eating. We had a 4-yr old doing the coffee grinder on the dance floor as well as a 92-yr old leading the bridal party in a line dance.

Blair was wonderful! He was funny and very entertaining. He got everyone up and dancing!

Blair was an awesome DJ! He did our music for the ceremony and reception. He knew just what to play the whole reception and played almost all of the songs i sent him on our must play list. Our planner found this DJ for our wedding, and thank God she did! They were incredibly responsive and went above and beyond for us. We had several special requests we sent over before the event - they were very responsive throughout the entire process and were very accommodating the night of. They did everything we asked and more! Our friends and family keep telling us they've never been to a wedding before where everyone was dancing all night and that the music was incredible! Blair was an amazing DJ to work with!!! I went back and forth with details and he was very patient and responsive to my needs. There were a couple hiccups the day of the wedding (power had been turned off for the outdoor ceremony location) and Blair handled everything without even getting us involved (helped with stress)!! After the wedding, everyone was talking about how great the DJ was. I even had a friend ask me if the DJ had a list of the songs he played because that was the best music he has heard at a wedding! Just a quick note to say thanks and complement the jobs Pam and Sherri did for us Saturday night. They were very professional and accomodating to our less-than-planned evening as far as the sequence of events went. Their playlist was very appropriate and entertained everyone. Our DJ was amazing! He kept the dance floor packed all night! Everyone awwed when he announced it would be the last dance..they all wanted to stay! Fantastic!!

I didn't realize just how much of a difference having a quality DJ can make or break a reception. My reception was an absolute blast and I have to owe it to the DJ- Jeff from the Nashville Party Authority! Jeff did a really great job of reading the crowd and choosing some really great dance music. I had a hard time leaving the dance floor because I was having too much fun! Several of my guests have said they had a ton of fun at the reception and really enjoyed the dancing! Blair was such a pleasure to work with and Jeff did a great job DJing! NPA recently DJ-ed my wedding in March. Blair was incredibly easy and pleasant to work with. He more than went out of his way to communicate thoroughly with me during the planning process. He answered any and all questions I had and even double-checked to make sure he had the correct versions of the songs my husband and I wanted played. Jeff was our DJ- he was flexible and fun! He followed our playlist and took special requests with ease, perfection and a big smile. We had such a blast that my mom paid him $50 to keep the music going a bit longer. Not only was a he a great DJ, but he went with flow and put up with a lot of picture requests- I think he even took one with my little 1 yr. old niece. Nashville Party Authority was awesome! They made our reception so much fun. Sherrie was great and I had several people at the reception ask her for her card for various events in the future. We were married Sept 2010. Blair was very prompt and answered questions quickly and was more than happy to make adjustments to the schedule. I searched forever to try to find a cheap band but you couldnt beat the price and the music was great. Paul was our DJ and he had everyone dancing and took requests no problem. Im really happy i choose them.

My husband and I used npa for our wedding ceremony and reception at Union Station. They were extremely professional and listened to all of our ideas while offering their suggestions too, which were needed! They created a minute-by-minute/ song-by-song agenda for the event several weeks prior to the day based on the songs we selected. We also got a CD of all of the songs selected for us to keep. The music during the ceremony was perfect and sounded beautiful. The reception was awesome and so much fun! He knew how to keep everyone out of their seats and also knew when it was the right time to play a slower song. No one has stopped talking about how fun it was! Thank you npa!!

AMAZING!! We were so pleased with our choice of N.P.A. Our wedding was on Oct 29 and we had a friend that was a DJ who was set to do our wedding when things didn't work out. A week before our wedding I was panicking but, we found Nashville Party Authority. Blair emailed me back immediately and we met soon after. I felt so much better after meeting with him. I knew that we were in good hands and that our wedding would be a lot of fun, and it was! We had people on the dance floor the ENTIRE time and have tons of people tell us how great our DJ was!

I was very impressed with Nashville Party Authority. They were flexible in meeting with us in the evening as both of us work during the day. Our DJ was there on time, was all set up, and did a great job. We worked together to develop a playlist that really fit what we wanted. Our DJ even helped out with some of the table set up when there was a change at the last minute. We have already recommended this company to several friends and certainly appreciated working with them.

NPA was great at our wedding. The DJs played the best mix of music and I honestly did not think many people would dance at all, but the dance floor was not empty all night. I was so surprised. Blair worked with us before hand to get our first dance song timed right and was very accommodating to our song requests that we didn't want played. Everyone commented on how much fun they had at our wedding and I know that was in large part due to having the right mix of music all night. I even got out there and danced and I hate to dance!

We used DJ Blair for our wedding reception. He did a great job picking songs that appealed to a lot of people (there was a pretty wide assortment of age groups in attendance). We heard from a number of our guests how much they liked music. He was very professional and got everyone on the dancefloor.

Blair with NPA is a terrifically hard worker. He arrived half-hour early when asked to do so, and was able to work around some threatening weather during the outdoor ceremony and some rain during the covered reception.
Blair is a consummate professional, on time, well dressed and groomed, and extremely responsive to communication.
We were thrilled when he offered his services within our budget and was able to provide some excellent options to play the ceremony recessional the bride requested.
Blair also made it possible for the musicians and the minister to connect to his amplifier free of charge if needed for their instruments and the lapel microphone.
After meeting with the engaged couple, he developed a reception schedule for the evening.
The bride and groom selected the music, and Blair kept it flowing. People enjoyed dancing throughout the reception, 4 to 80 year olds, all together having clean, family fun.
Blair made the appropriate announcements very adeptly but managed to keep in the background and let the newlyweds enjoy the spotlight on their special day.
He was flexible when we decided to have the couple's grand exit early before too many guests departed when the rain ended.
We have received compliments on how well the DJ did. The only flaws were a slight delay in starting the recessional music, and the last dance song was played early on in the reception. But it was played again later at the appropriate time. "Cross My Heart"!

Blair did a wonderful job at our reception. The guests had an amazing time and the dance floor was packed all night. He emceed all of the major events including the first dances, the cake cutting, etc. He was professional, engaged the crowd, and did everything we hoped for. We booked NPA for our wedding (that's me in the picture jumping with my bridesmaids!). Blair was very easy to work with, and made sure our timeline and music preferences were just right. Paul was our DJ. I went back and forth on whether to book a professional DJ or not, and am SO GLAD we did. Paul did such an amazing job and had everyone dancing the whole night. He was super fun, professional, and took charge of the situation when we had last minute changes due to circumstances out of our control. The lighting was fantastic and added a lot to the dance floor vibe. They do require you to provide a table and tablecloth, but they bring everything else. Highly recommend NPA!

This DJ was great! The price was extremely reasonable. Actually, it was very cheap. They had a great song list and the DJ was very nice and personable. The music was played perfectly and everything went just as planned. Overall, this venue did a wonderful job and the price was affordable.

Blair of Nashville Party Authority did a wonderful job for our daughter's wedding. He provided both the ceremony music as well as the reception. He was very professional, easy to work with on the type of music we wanted, and has any type music you could want. He was also great at making suggesions for things we were not quite sure about. If we have a need for a DJ in the future, I would definitely call on him again.

They were a great DJ service and the DJ that actually worked our wedding reception was very good. He was lively, interactive and really got our guests out on the floor having a good time. The only thing that did not make them absolutely perfect was that I had to follow up with them a couple of times to get a response regarding song choices we had sent them and, at our wedding reception, we had provided a very specific list of songs that we wanted played and they really didn't follow the list. But, in the end everyone had a great time and they did a great job. I would highly recommend them.

Blair created a mix of music that was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone at the reception. He did a fantastic job accommodated our request to keep it clean and fun to create a mix people could dance to, laugh about, feel guilty for loving, and enjoy throughout the night. Nashville Party Authority was fantastic! We ended up having to add a significant amount of guests at the last minute and they were great about it. Everything was exactly as I had hoped. They were great!

I would use thier services again because I really enjoyed having them at my wedding. They played the music I wanted and let the guest make requests. They also played to the crowd which was very important to me.

Probably would have gotten another DJ if we had to do it again. They gave us a great price, but we had a few "miscommunications". We emailed the DJ several times, and even went to meet with him to see that we liked him and to discuss what type of music we liked, and then two days before the wedding, he told us that our "team of DJs" would be two ladies that we had not even heard of or met with. We weren't aware that there was anyone else but him that would do the job...which is why we met with him in the first place. The music the ladies played was not at all what we discussed with the original DJ, so there must have been some meltdown of communication between the two. (which is why we went to meet with him IN PERSON). It didn't ruin the night, but it was definately not what we thought we were getting.

be sure to talk to the person who will be dj ing for your wedding or event. i did not get to talk directly to the dj, therefore some of the things i wanted went unspoken and were not relayed to him from the owner of the agency. they did a fine job, it was just not what i pictured in my head.

NOT impressed. The only songs that he got right were first dance and father/daughter. Did not play the song we requested to come out to or last dance song. It was especially unimpressive when the DJ announced "and this song is for the Texans' out there" and played Sweet Home Alabama. Thankfully our guests knew how to deal with cheesy, A.K.A last song of "I had the Time of my Life from Dirty Dancing".

Blair, the guy that handles all of the paperwork type stuff was super nice and very easy to work with. The DJ was another story. On my wedding day when the DJ arrived I immediately paniced because he looked to be no older than 17. Throughout the whole ceremony, he missed almost every musical cue. When the ceremony was over my new husband and I were almost completely down the isle before our song started. During the ceremony, my preacher's mic began to screech loudly. During the unity candle ceremony the music didn't began until after we were walking back to our positions at the alter. During the reception, he kept playing Frank Sinatra type music - all of my ceremony music was country and classical. The very first dance song he played was sweet home alabama - this was a very formal wedding - not a redneck wedding. It completely embarrassed me. After that, I spent the night telling him exactly what song to play next.
