We do offer some special customized color processing.

Yes! We pride ourselves in being great problem solvers for unique and challenging lighting conditions.

How many photographers do you work with?
Our standard packages include a single photographer but we have a solid network of photographers we work with when additional shooters are requested.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes. Barring any catastrophic occurrences, like alien invasion.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
No.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
It depends on the specifics of the event location, but a typical event kit will have more than necessary, just in case. 2 cameras, all lenses, tripod, light stands, backup flashes, etc.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
Both.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
Availability depends on the circumstances and so does price, but generally the answer is yes and the price varies.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Everyone needs a break, but we're there to do a job and that job means not missing anything important. We'll take as few breaks as possible and only take them when we have cleared with the client that the timing is appropriate. If the client wants to feed us, that's lovely but we never require that. We come fully prepared with snacks for our quick breaks.
Do you charge for travel?
If we are required to travel more than 25 miles outside of downtown Pittsburgh, we will charge. It can be a flat fee or per mile fee, depending on the distance and circumstances.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
We guarantee proofs will be ready within 6 weeks.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Our standard proofing system uses an online viewing gallery. Hard copy proofs can be made available for a nominal fee.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
The online viewing gallery will remain live for 30 days, unless an extension is requested.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
We do provide a disc of the final digital images to the client.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes.
What kind of albums do you offer?
Currently, we offer flushmount and layflat albums. All albums are done on a customized basis so other options can be made available.
When will the client get the final album?
Album design and production takes 6 weeks from the order date, assuming the client approves the image selection and layout we create. The timeline may become extended if significant alterations need to be made.
