I was engaged in March and we set a date of October 20, 2012.....so we had semi short engagement but that didn't sway Rhonda, she literally handled EVERYTHING with little to no problems or issues. She was always a phone call or email away and I never had to ask twice for information or for her to handle a issue she was on it as soon as it was presented to her. She was exactly what we needed! I thought the overall service was great and affordable. I did not worry about anything on the rehearsal day or my wedding day. Vendors were provided to me that I used for other things such as music, photography, makeup, etc. It was truely a one-stop-shop. After you say "I WILL" there are three main things you need to do immediately to get your wedding planning off to a great start:
1. Settle on the guest size. This is the hardest thing you will have to do and the most important as everything else is based on guest size (per person).
2. Think about the type of wedding ceremony and wedding reception venue(s) you would like to secure and start looking. Many venues/sites are booked up more than a year in advance. The most popular sites may be booked out even further.
3. If hiring a professional wedding consultant is something that you are considering, it would be most cost saving to do so "at the beginning" of your wedding planning process. This is the most critical time because a wedding consultant's value comes from the expertise, experience and relationships she/he has acquired over the years. You cannot take advantage of those to save you money if the professional is not on board as a wedding planning team member early.
