Delicious food and wonderful service!
We did a tasting with them almost a year before our wedding. The food was so good that it was hard to choose anything....because we wanted to eat EVERYTHING! It was one of our more fun decisions to make during the whole wedding planning process. At the wedding, the food was wonderful and the service was excellent.
Food was great, but was a bit pricey. Guests loved it.
Beautiful venue, it was perfect for our ceremony and reception and I absolutely loved it. It rained during the day but the back-up plan actually made the ceremony more romantic and intimate. Alvin at the BOT is awesome, very helpful. Our only frustration was the rehearsal time: we got married on a Sunday and we were told when we booked it that we could do our rehearsal Saturday evening. Apparently that changed in the months leading up to our wedding day and nobody told us--it came up in conversation during one of our meetings with Pigeon. We had a crawfish boil planned that day so we had to rush back for the rehearsal so that we were out of the way when they needed to set up for the wedding that evening (but apparently still got in the way of the set up)
I love, love, love this space! It is so unique, which is really what we wanted for our reception. We took pictures in the courtyard in front of the fountain, and they came out awesome. Stacey, the manager, is a dream to work with—she is a total doll.
Fabulous. The food by Pigeon was amazing. Our attendant was magical. I swear. I never saw her lurking, but every time I needed her, she was there, usually with a new cranberry and vodka.
The staff was SO nice. I rant into the chef while we were taking some pre-ceremony pictures and warned him to not let me down. He sure didn't. Our guests are STILL talking about the fresh and chargrilled oysters that Stacey had Drago's out there shucking and making. The banana's foster and crab/crawfish cake stations were to die for. I really can't say enough good things. My ONLY disappointment was that I don't think they used the dessert napkins we had custom made. Oh well. They're in the pictures.
