NY Entertainment did their due diligence to plan all aspects of our 2 night wedding affair. Their attention to detail(from song selections for appetizers to acquiring copies of each song to be used for performances, well in advance) and their follow up calls were pleasantly unexpected, and definitely appreciated.
Their 2 DJs that spun for the events were equally impressive. They were prompt, communicative, and flexible. Sam met with the bride just before the events to understand and work out last minute changes, while Vishal was amazing in getting the party started once the music was on; from echoing some words of the songs to demonstrating and leading off some of the latest dance moves. They both definitely understood the Indian crowd, and worked hard to make certain the entire crowd was energized and pleased with the music selection. My friends and family were also impressed with the DJs and music.

Do you have liability insurance?
Yes
Describe your DJ style:
Eclectic. Our DJs are like chameleons; changing to suit your needs and their environment. Each DJ has 10 years experience under his belt, guaranteeing you a flawless affair.
Is there a limit to the amount of music that can be requested?
The sky is the limit.
What is your usual attire?
Typically, our DJs and Emcees are dressed impeccably with a "GQ-esque" feel.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
Absolutely not. Our DJs will obtain any song requested that is not already in their personal collection.
How many other DJs do you work with?
Our company has 13 DJs employed.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
1 hour.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Yes, however phone conferences tend to be the most popular. It is more common to meet with the Wedding Coordinator and/or Emcee.
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?
Of course. We have done a plethora of events that range from Indian to Israeli to African.
Can the client submit a do-not-play list?
We prefer that the client submits a do-not-play list. This ensures that our DJ will give you a perfect reception, eliminating the chance that he play something you do not like.
Do you bring your own equipment?
We have State of the Art DJ Equipment provided for your reception.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?

How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
The amount of time needed to set up depends on the size of your package. Typically the venue provides a table for the DJ to work on.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
No.
Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events?
No.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?

How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing?

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Nothing is required. Our staff eats before and after the event, not during the event. If you wish to provide our staff with food, that is solely at your discretion.
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
Breaks are not part of our job description.
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
That is never the case.
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day?
Because our company is so large, we sometimes have 10+ events in a day. However, with incredible office staff, no one is ever double booked to inconvenience our clients.
What is your overtime rate?
100/hr.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
There is no charge for travelling.
What is the required deposit to secure your services?
25%.
