Newton Farms Catering

Sarah met with us to get the perfect menu together and served a delicious tasting. She coordinated our rentals through Event Works and bar service from Mix Premier Bartending. She worked with us every step of the way to get all of these elements working together smoothly. We exchanged lots of emails, and she always responded promptly.

The food was very good; we are still getting comments on the shrimp and grits and sweet potato biscuits! They will do whatever you want though; Sarah even offered to create a new dish if we had a family recipe that we wanted to include. We got a lot of food for what we paid; we had manned stations, a beer-and-wine bar, and coffee service.

The groom is a very picky eater, and they created a plate separate from the guest menu to make sure he had something too. They sent us home with champagne and bits of everything on the menu, since we didn't have time to eat much. Very nice people and great service.

Not only did they serve excellent food, but they also helped to assemble our favors after setting the tables. Totally unexpected, and just another example of their going above and beyond to help us have the perfect wedding!

We had some time constraints from the venue on when we could set up and when we had to get everything out, and they made it all work in our short window.

AMAZING! Sarah at Newton Farms was so easy to work with. The food was amazing and all my guest talked about how "yummy" it was. They made special plates for my daughter that has a food allergy and another one for my mom who is very picky. The service was incredible and extremely professional. Sarah worked with my coordinator,Ali at Caldwell Events, and made it to where we just basically showed up. If you want yummy food then I would definitely use Newton Farms.

Perfection!!! Sarah at Newton Farms Catering is truly perfect...and the food is amazingly delicious!! Our guests are still talking about how good the food was, which is a big deal since wedding food isn't always that yummy. The entire gang at Newton Farms Catering went above and beyond. They made delicious food but they also helped with the planning of our big day. I was amazed with Sarah's professionalism but I was also so happy that I gained a great friend out of all of it. Newton Farms made shrimp and grits, a mashed potato bar, a carving station, amazing salads and great veggies for our wedding. The appetizers were great! mini crab cakes, fruit and cheese and jalapeno pimento stuffed mushrooms... my mouth is watering! I would recommend Newton Farms Catering to every bride to be who needs a caterer. They went above and beyond our expectations and we couldn't be any happier with all they did for us. A++++++++

This was an amazing company to work with. Sarah, our coordinator was helpful, organized, and responsive to all our needs throughout the whole wedding process. The food was fabulous, the servers were polite and organized and the bartender was great with all our guests. Overall Newton Farms was the perfect choice.

Sarah was great to work with! She was like having a day of wedding planner. We planned a wedding from Virginia, so the majority was done over the phone. Sarah was always prompt to answer questions by phone or email. Everyone at the wedding thought the food was amazing. They made sure the wedding flowed all throughout the night. I would certainly recommend Newton Farms to anyone!

Newton Farms produced the most amazing buffet station spread of any wedding I have ever seen. The amount of food we had was perfect, everything was beautiful, hot, and delicious. Everyone is still asking me about the fried green tomato and pimento cheese!!

The team was wonderul to work with, and they have wonderful vision to set your event apart from others.

She was in constant contact with us before our wedding and made sure we had every detail worked out before that day. I absolutely loved the food and service provided by Newton Farms. They did an excellent job all around. The food tasted amazing and looked great. They worked with us to create exactly what I wanted. My goal was an after Sunday church dinner meal for my wedding and that's exactly what I got. Their service and wait staff were great. If I ever had another event to plan I wouldn't use anyone but them!

I was nervous because the head catering person left after we had signed our contract but we were very pleased with the food and professionalism of the staff. I would definitely recommend NF to any bride!

I wish I could give 10 stars to the team at Newton Farms. Francesca is an absolute dream to work with. She is so professional, gives advice, and always responds to emails or calls super quickly. I left everything up to them the day of and they delivered perfectly. The food is absolutely delicious. We had shrimp and grits, mashed potato bar, beef, and others. Everyone thought it was so good. My now husband ate leftovers for days and raved about it every single time! I loved that they made us a basket of food to take to the hotel. We definitely were starving later in the night and were so grateful to have it! Can't recommend Newton Farms highly enough!

Francesca from day one was on top of her game with Newton Farms, what an incredible asset to that company she is. We battled budget from day one trying to stay within cost and she made it happen without the sacrafice of having a slim menu. All of her recommendations were fabulous and top knotch according to our guests. People raved about the food for months following out big day. Presentation was beautiful and my table set up was breath taking. She remained on site from before I walked down the aisle until the last guest was fed. How many caterers do you know that will stand in the restroom with you, helping calm your nerves before walking down the aisle? She & Newton Farms were a major part of why our day was so incredible. The most unforgettable memory I have is the wonderful menu tasting she set up prior to our day, where I was allowed to bring my grandparents with me. She made sure it was such an enjoyable experience for them both. They talked about it with other guests at the wedding. Just a few short 6 months later we lost my grandfather unexpectedly and to this day I am so thankful for her arranging such a special experience during my wedding planning that I could include them both in. Francesca Francesca was so amazing to work with and I would HIGHLY recommend her to every bride in the Charleston area. I planned my wedding much differently than most people; rather than booking a venue first and letting that dictate our food, we booked our catering company first. Francesca really went above and beyond to help us find the perfect venue. She is so helpful, knowledgeable, and always has such a positive attitude. I felt as if she was always there to help which is how it should be.

This all goes without mentioning that the food at our reception was fabulous! Everyone at our wedding raved about the catering and the superior service provided by Newton Farms. Everything was fresh and of such high quality; they really do not cut corners. I honestly feel as if I cannot thank Francesca and her whole team enough. They care for you as if you are family, not as though you’re “just another customer.”

The catering team at Newton Farms is fantastic. They truly know how to produce a seamless affair. Their staff is professional and courteous and food is simply to-die-for.
