Next Exit Photography

I knew from all the talk on the knot that I had to have Cat & Adi for my wedding photographers. They are amazing! I just love their style and they got great shots throughout the entire wedding. I had so many people compliment on how Adi was everywhere and got all the details along with so many wonderful pictures. I am so happy I chose them as my wedding day photographers. I love my proofs and was amazed at all the different angles and styles used. HIGHLY recommend!

Along with our coordinator, Heather from Martinis & Bliss, Cat and Adi from Next Exit Photography were our favorite vendors. Cat was our "official" photographer and contact person, and she was very patient about answering all of my constant e-mails. She even forgave me for being 45 minutes late to our engagement picture session. :-o

I told Cat a few weeks before the wedding that we really needed to get our proof album within three weeks of the wedding, because we were going back to Illinois for a second reception and we wanted to be able to show it to all of our relatives. Not only did she get our beautiful proof album to us before we left, she snuck us to the front of the line and blogged us early so our relatives who couldn't make it to California could have a preview.

I would be willing to recommend them strictly on the basis of their responsiveness and professionalism, but, luckily, they're amazingly talented photographers, too!

Yes, this is the brilliance of Cat and Adi. With light barely lingering, Cat suggested we take care of two things at once. I bustled the bride's dress while she shot a few romantics before the light was gone. I was hidden, and you would never guess I was there.

This is how it always is when I work with them. They are a fluid team, doing a dance of accomplishing as much as they can in a short amount of time.

Their pictures are always gorgeous! They capture moments you didn't even realize were happening. What's even better is they know how to use Photoshop! I watched Adi take 10 pounds off a bride one time with the simple twitch of the mouse and a press of a button. Gone! If only real life could work that way!

They work hard. They play hard. I've watched them go to extremes to make a couple feel comfortable. I even watched Adi fixate on the unsmiling mother of the bride, waiting for the precise moment a smile was cracked. Yes - he caught that moment too.

In my opinion, Cat and Adi at Next Exit Photography are some of the best wedding photographers in town. The moments they capture never look staged or stiff. Lucky for us, they've recently expanded into doing children's photos as well as the occasional actor or studio portrait.

I LOVE Next Exit...I couldn't be happier booking them for our wedding this summer. We had Adi as our main photographer and he was amazing!! Please note, I am writing this before I have even seen our pictures! I am so happy, I just know our pictures will be everything I dreamed of. They are super easy to work with from the beginning of the process until the end. Adi also took our engagement photo's and they are beautiful! Adi was like part of the family the day of the wedding, everyone loved him. He made my husband and I so at ease in front of the camera. Two Words – Phenomenal Photographer! Again, I knew I had to meet Adi after seeing his photos in another bride’s bio, and we booked him on the spot. His artistic vision and eye for capturing detail is amazing. He made us feel so comfortable and at ease throughout the entire wedding, including the hour of formal portraits! My DH and I both agree that we could not have asked for a better photographer. He was there the entire evening, from getting ready to saying goodbye in the limo. We received all of our proofs (all 600+ of them!!!!) in a gorgeous leather-bound proof album that Cathryn organized for us! We cannot stop looking at our wonderful pictures! In addition, all of our photos are posted on their online website so family and friends can order prints directly from Next Exit, and we don’t have to deal with the hassle! He captured looks on faces and tears and smiles in photos that we will cherish forever, scouted out great photo-op locations, and I remember seeing him in the middle of the dance floor doing the Hora taking some of the most fantastic action shots of the wedding! Adi caught so many wonderful moments throughout our day that we would have missed had he not been there. I call that priceless!

We interviewed about 5 different photographers for our wedding (pics are important!) and Next Exit Photography not only had the best quality work, but they were the most personable team. Their work is simply amazing and we would choose them as our wedding photographer again in a heartbeat if we had to. Not only were we more than happy with how all of the photos turned out, they were such a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process, it made things so incredibly easy. Everyone keeps telling me how all of our pictures look like they came out of a bridal magazine and we owe it all to Next Exit. Do yourself a huge favor...save the stress of looking for a photographer and use Next Exit! It will be the best decision of your whole wedding.

I have yet to write my full wedding round-up (wonder if I'll ever Actually do it) but I feel compelled to at least write a quickie post regarding our how incredibly ELATED we are with the work our photographers, Next Exit Photography.

This L.A.-based (but I know they travel) couple was our first choice, and we're SO glad we decided to follow our gut & hire them. Indeed, they were the only photographers we met with - 30 minutes with Cat and Adi and we just knew that no one else would do. Their easy humor and attention to our needs (including running interference for me w/a relative I didn't exactly want to see that day) made them a no-brainer, and now that we've seen our photos, we are absolutely bowled over and are telling anyone who'll listen - engaged or not - that they should turn to Next Exit for any of their photography needs.

Their creativity and relaxed energy really shines through in our fun, non-traditional (and yet somehow timeless) photos. They put us and our guests completely at ease, and were totally non-intrusive the entire day. It's crazy - we were going through our proofs (which we got pretty quickly!) and we didn't remember 1/2 of the photos being taken which is, I think, the mark of a good wedding photographer - they flew under the radar, but were present for all these great moments!

Adi and Cat of Next Exit Photography are a married, dynamic couple who run their business out of their adorable house in West Los Angeles (with their recently added studio located in their backyard). Planning a wedding in California from England was no easy feat and the best decision we made by far was choosing Next Exit. Cat and Adi and associate Stephanie were amazing. During our search for photographers, we had the pleasure of reading many positive comments about Next Exit Photography and Adi. Either those comments were understated or Adi has gotten even better, because he and his wife and business partner, Cat, were amazing. We have reviewed our proof book and the online gallery many times already and we are so pleased at how Adi captured our fairy tale day. He skillfully captured the obligatory stuff: the getting ready shots, the bridal party shots, the family shots, the reception candids, etc. As hoped, the body of shots also captures and re-tells the story of the day (or many stories really). Also, one of the reasons that we picked Next Exit is that, in addition to satisfying all of these things, we knew that Adi's extensive training and experience would lead to some wonderfully unique and artistic shots as well, and that certainly proved true.

But Adi's incredible and obvious passion for photography and his great eye for weddings captured something else too. During our engagement session and as the wedding day progressed, he observed us and how we interact. Together, all of this produced the types of photographs that are on the front and back cover of our proof book (and throughout the book as well). Adi captured how we feel about each other. A bride and groom really cannot ask for more than that.

As we continue to review the proofs, we are particularly excited because another of the main reasons Adi and Next Exit were our first choice is how much we loved his custom designed wedding albums. Adi's passion and care in designing the right album for each couple is obvious and we cannot wait to see ours.

We interviewed many excellent photographers, but Next Exit truly is head and shoulders above the rest. We easily give them five stars and recommend them to everyone without any reservation.

Cat and Adi were the most amazing team I have ever worked with. Adi did our engagement session, and managed to get the exact "mood" we were going for. He helped us get more comfortable with the camera before our wedding day, and was gladly willing to travel to several locations (traffic and all!)
As for the wedding day, Cat & Adi were truly sensational! They both carry such a positive energy, with tons of comic relief during all the stress! Have any nervous youngsters in your wedding party? They made such an effort to make sure EVERYONE was comfortable. I'll never forget Cat carrying my lip gloss in her fanny pack the entire night just to make sure I was in tip-top shape!

I love working with Next Exit Photography! They are amazing photographers and if they were not so busy, I would have loved them to photograph my wedding. I would recommend this vendor to anyone in search of a very positive and talented photographer.

This is one of the few vendors I have second-guessed. They are amazing! Our wedding isn't until September, but they shot our engagement photos and my boudoir shot (well, just Cat shot that one). I'm not sure if I know how to post pics, but by Knottie bio (under LoLoSup) has tons of pics!

Next Exit was by far our favorite vendor. Cat and Adi are a husband and wife team, and they are the best. After doing a lot of looking online, I had really decided that I wanted them to shoot our wedding. We went and interviewed them and booked them before we left. They were the only photogs we interviewed. We clicked and we knew that we were in for a great result. They do amazing work and everyone who has seen our pictures has said that they are some of the best wedding pictures they have ever seen.

When my husband and I were first looking for photographers over a year ago, we were looking for a team with the skills, talent, and professionalism, without the attitude. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Next Exit! People that know me know that I hate taking pictures. I get nervous anytime anybody takes out a camera. My now husband says that every time he tries to take a photo of me, I make a weird smile and in almost every photo I have (until Cat & Adi) I look a bit off...uncomfortable...and, well a bit goofy. I had accepted that and thought it was just me.Well...that isn't the case! I just needed to work with somebody who made me relax and who knows how to get the best angels and light....I needed NEXT EXIT!From the moment I met Adi and Cat I knew this experience was going to be special. At our first meeting, my husband, mom and I sat down in their studio, Adi turned on Tom Petty's "American Girl", and we watched on a big screen some amazing photos they've shot of other weddings. And I must say that in each and every one, there was something special, a spirit, energy, humor,...magic!I immediately relaxed since the people in the photos were just regular people like me but who looked like they were in a magazine! We decided to shoot an engagement session a few months later (even though I had never planned on engagement photos). I know it was just a "photo shoot" but we had a blast! My now husband and I were laughing and kissing and falling in love all over again all while Adi was capturing the moment. He made it truly painless and quick and I LOVE the photos. Then came the wedding day. The good thing is that I was not worried at all since we had already had the painless and fun engagement session. Adi and Cat were just amazing. I honestly don't even know where to begin. They're dynamic, incredibly talented photographers who run their humble business out of their home. They captured precious moments of our wedding day that I believe would have otherwise been lost. This is a highly professional wedding photography outfit. Cat and Adi are both great photographers, with a great instinct for what shots will work. They photograph in a documentary style which adds life to the photos beyond the usual wedding photo standard fare. Cat and Adi manage to get great photos without being intrusive or obstructive, and they manage to use their cameras to add to the festivity of the occassion. They both have great personalities and helped make our guests feel at ease. And the photos are just incredible. We could not have asked for a better record of this most memorable day of our lives. Thanks to next Exit Photography, I have the most gorgeous pictures! The quality of their photography is out of this world. My shots were incredible--the variety, the use of natural light, the angles, the backgrounds--every shot has such warmth, depth, drama, heart and soul! Next Exit is pricey, but Cat and Adi are the best--so much more than wedding photographers, they helped us find so many other vendors. Only caveat: make sure you know which one (Cat or Adi) will be your photographer before the wedding--they only guarantee that one of them will be there.

I was the maid of honor for my twin sister's wedding in the summer of 2006. I was by my sister's side from the day we met Cat and Adi at their home for the initial meeting to the day she walked down the aisle. Not only are Cat and Adi amazing photographers, but having them share the day with our family was like inviting two more good friends to the wedding.

You diffused situations, you helped us remain calm and you always, and I mean always make us laugh! We had the time of our lives on our wedding day, but we can honestly say it was even more fun b/c you two were there!!!! I just want to say many thanks for making us laugh and feel at ease, thank you for controlling the chaos that goes on during a wedding, thank you for the witty banter, thank you for holding my lipstick, thank you for keeping the energy up and thank you most of all for sharing our wedding day with us! I can't wait to see all the fun photos, too bad we didn't have a video camera to capture the stench someone left for us in the Langham elevator or the shock on our faces when we found you know what shooting in Old Town!
