Nicole Miller

I love my Nicole Miller dress - and just about every other dress in her bridal collection! Her designs are so simple and elegant (yet not just a little sexy!) - and simultaneously young yet timeless. Before the wedding:

I am wearing a Nicole Miller gown for my wedding in April. I bought my dress in July from the Nicole Miller on Sunset. I loved the vibe of the store - it was very laidback and casual and the sales girl, who helped me, Elaine was very friendly. I had tried on a size 10, but Elaine suggested I order a size 8. Looking back, I wish I would have gone with the 10 because even though I've had to had the taken in on the top and bottom, the hip area has some slight bunching.

The alterier they sent me to said I could have gone with a 10, but she sees this problem with the dress all the time. She said it is very common for brides to bring this particular dress to her and be in love with it at the beginning, but then once alterations begin, they start to see the faults in the dress.

In short, I left Nicole Miller feeling like I had gotten a great deal, but now am wishing I maybe would have spent a little more money to get a more well-made dress.

Also, when I picked up my dress, it seemed as though the fabric was a lot lighter than the sample they showed me. Elaine no longer worked there, but Shannon told me it was because the sample was "dirty" and had been in the salon for a while. She was very obnoxious and kept saying that she could order me another dress but that it was going to be "exactly the same, exactly the same." I swear she repeated it about 50 times. They make you sign off on the dress when you pick it up, so that you can not return it after you leave the store. The alterier told me that she's asked the store about this policy and they told her they can't do anything about "buyer's remorse."

While the prices at Nicole Miller are attractive, I suggest taking a closer look at the seams and details of how the dress is made before you buy it.

After the wedding:

After all of the "stuff" I went through with my dress, in the end - it was beautiful. I think a lot of the problems with my dress were in the fact that the lady who altered it was probably not the best person for me to go to. She came recommended by Nicole Miller, and I went to her because she has worked with my dress for a long time.

Yes, I could have spent thousands to perhaps have a more well-made dress, but for the price, it was perfect. I couldn't wear any undergarments however because of the shape of the dress, so I worked really hard to get my curvy figure the best I could get it looking...still wish I could have lost five more from my stomach...but my husband loved it and I felt great, so that's all that matters. :)

My bridesmaids dresses are made by Nicole Miller! I feel like a struck gold! My girls are going to look stunning! The dresses are made with impressive quality and the fit is perfect on each girl! The sales staff was a pleasure to work with, too! I highly recommend Nicole Miller!!

Absolutely wonderful service. Shannon is sweet and friendly, and she made my friend and I feel great about ourselves in the dresses. She was complimentary, but she was also very honest about the dresses. She helped us with everything and pinned the dresses so that they fit us perfectly; that was we could get a good idea of what they really look like on. She showed us different ways to wear the dresses to personalize them, too. Overall, fabulous experience, wonderful service. Everyone at Nicole Miller has been nothing but sweet and friendly. I will be back.

I found the perfect bridemaids dresses there and the sales people who helped me gather all the info were fantastic! I cannot wait for my girls to get their dresses! They can definitely wear them out and about a millions times over!

I was referred to Nicole Miller bridal by a friend. I didn't even know Nicole Miller had wedding dresses. Apparently, Nicole adds a few to her collection every year, so there are a number of gorgeous elegant dresses created in the Nicole Miller style for weddings.

I worked with Shannon Payne and she was fantastic. She knew right away exactly what would work and not work on me, and she had an amazing flair for accessories and alterations. The dress was not as expensive as many others that I looked at at other shops, and everyone at the store was so friendly and accommodating that I felt very pampered.

At my wedding, everyone commented on how beautiful the dress was and how in keeping with my own style it was. It was a "1940's-style" gown and everyone said I looked like a movie star (which is pretty nice to hear for your wedding). It was more like an Oscar dress than a wedding gown, but that was the look I was after so I was thrilled.

I was finding it frustrating to dress shop since everyone in my family wanted to go to the store with me, and everyone was very opinionated on what I should get. I ordered my dress online from the Nicole Miller website. I don’t know when I fell in love with her dresses, I just did. I spent months looking at dresses, and finally I decided on one that wasn’t from her wedding collection. I am still disappointed that they didn’t sell the dresses from her website at any of the stores from around here. The ordering was pretty easy, and it arrived looking just like it did on the site.

The bridesmaids got their dresses here. The girls looked absolutely darling! Very classy.

I wore Nicole Miller at my wedding and couldn't imagine wearing anyone else to have that simple elegance, yet hotness too. The cut and the material is always tops. I recommend her hands down.
