We changed the number of cupcakes we wanted (we didn't want a wedding cake) probably four times and the lovely people at the Night Kitchen were always happy to oblige We ended with some 80 cupcakes, each with a lovely flower in icing on it. They looked spectacular and tasted the same.

The wedding cake was included in our package with our venue. The cake was great!

Great staff, awesome kitchen. My wife now goes to the shop some mornings for breakfast! The wedding cake was perfect, and was probably the best tasting cake we've ever had, period. We won't be going anywhere else for our bakery needs.

We had our wedding at the Joseph Ambler Inn and our cake from the Night Kitchen came with our package. Whether or not you get your wedding cake with a package you should use Night Kitchen Bakery. Our consultation with Jenny was very professional and the tasting was great! I plan to order a small cake for our anniversary every year to relive the deliciousness again and again

The Night Kitchen Bakery was included as part of my wedding package at the Joseph Ambler Inn. Not only was the cake delicious, they were willing and able to make it exactly how we imagined it. Since our wedding was on New Year's Eve, and the theme of our evening was rustic winter, we went with a playful snowflake cake with light blue fondant. The head pastry chef sat down with us at our tasting and went through all of the options, and we wound up mixing and matching ideas from a few birthday and seasonal cakes they had done in the past. It turned out exactly how we imagined it, and all of our guests raved about how delicious it was. We already ate our top layer (couldn't help ourselves), but we definitely plan to return to NKB for a fresh 1 year anniversary cake!

The pastry chef who worked with us was Jennifer and it was such an honor to have someone so talented decorate our wedding cake. I really wanted our cake decorated with sugar flowers that looked like real flowers. Night Kitchen has a more whimsical style and doesn’t typically do that but we came up with a design that turned out beautifully. Jennifer did such a good job that during the reception one of my bridesmaids asked me what kind of flowers were on the cake… thinking they were real flowers. Mission Accomplished!! We also spent a little extra to have the red velvet cake and it was totally worth it!

Joseph Ambler Inn out sourced the Night Kitchen Bakery. The cake was beautiful. It was exactly what we had planned with the head baker. It even tasted good too!

I don't know how much it costs, since the cake was part of the package. I will say that our cupcakes that we had at the tasting were not as good as the cake at the wedding. My concern that the cake would be dry or stale, given the time needed to lay the fondant and decorate it was completely unfounded. Every piece I had was delicious. In fact, I wish I had some of that carrot cake. Also, the design was perfect, so pretty, and simple.

We decided to have wedding pie, rather than the traditional wedding cake. The Night Kitchen Bakery did a fantastic job! We ordered 5 different kinds of pie, as well as a gluten-free flourless chocolate cake. They looked so inviting and tasted homemade. The guests raved about them, and really enjoyed our non-standard dessert.

The Night Kitchen Bakery made our awesome and fun "topsy turvy" cake for our fall wedding at the Joseph Ambler Inn in North Wales, PA. The cake was absolutely delicious and impeccably made. We got such rave reviews about the quality, creativeness, and taste of the cake. It was just awesome!

Night Kitchen Bakery made the most beautiful and delicious wedding cake for us! We had brought them a picture of what we wanted and not only did they do an amazing job matching it, but it was even more beautiful than the magazine picture. We had been to several tastings at other bakeries and the taste of their cake far surpassed everyone else. It is a bit more expensive, but definitely worth it!

Our wedding cake from the Night Kitchen Bakery was perfect! All of our guests commented on how pretty it was, and how good it tasted. I hated having to cut it up. : ) They were so great to work with as well. I brought in a few pictures from websites and magazines and was able to pick out all of the elements I liked to make the perfect cake, and the color matched the sample I gave them perfectly. I can't wait to eat the top tier on our anniversary, and may even get a replica made in the future.

I found The Night Kitchen when they won a number of awards through "The Knot" magazine. Honestly, I walked in with a very specific idea of what I was looking for, I had found a picture of a cake in a British wedding magazine. The Night Kitchen duplicated my picture beautifully, and their chocolate cake was to die for! They were also very open to accomodating different tastes: the different tiers of our cake had different fillings (we did a chocolate cake with chocolate mousse and raspberry filling). We had loads of fun at the tasting, and they were very polite to my party, even though it was a busy Saturday morning.

Night Kitchen Bakery is great, because the cake is actually delicious! We received many compliments on our cake, both on its appearance and its flavor, but especially the latter! Our tasting was super fun, we got to taste many different flavors with coffee (a nice touch), and look at pictures of cakes. They were very nice to us. I had a photo of a cake from a magazine, which they were able to incorporate into the design. My only complaint is that the color of the frosting flowers on the cake were slightly off (supposed to be same as topper), but I was probably the only one who notices this. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding cake (or any kind of cake).

Yum! Our wedding cake from the Night Kitchen Bakery was so delicious - and looked beautiful, too! The tasting was so much fun; they gave us a plate full of cupcakes in a variety of flavors. We ended up picking three different flavor combinations for our wedding cake - chocolate with raspberry filling, vanilla with mocha chocolate filling, and vanilla with lemon filling - and our guests raved about all of them!

The Night Kitchen is the best bakery for wedding cakes. They have won Best of Philadelphia several times and their cakes are imaginative and absolutely delicious! I wanted something different for my cake and they were able to create my vision perfectly!

Yum! Night Kitchen Bakery was wonderful. The cake tasting was fun, and we were the only couple there, so we got a lot of personal attention. The cake was beautiful, delivered right on time to our location, and held up despite 95 degree heat. We had the chocolate cake with the raspberry filling, and highly recommend it!

The cake tasting/consultation was our absolute favorite part of the planning process! We had been customers of the bakery ever since we moved to the area and after seeing their wedding cake portfolio, we decided to have them do our cake. We got the raspberry and chocolate cake and our icing was chocolate with blue accents. They took all of our requests and turned them into a beautiful cake! It even stood up during a 2+ hour car ride to the wedding venue (it was an out of state wedding - they deliver all over Philadelphia). We couldn't have been more pleased!

Night Kitchen made us the loveliest, most delicious lemon curd cake with buttercream frosting. We ordered 4 or 5 small two- and three-tiered cakes that they agreed to decorate with marzipan fruit we provided from an out-of-state bakery. Come wedding day, we saw the cakes and they were beautifully arranged. A sheet cake at the ready ensured all were served.

An excellent mid-wedding planning surprise was the chocolate cake for my bridal shower--also from Night Kitchen.

Added plus: After a year in the freezer, the top tier of our bridal cake was still good.

This was the tastiest cake I ever had. All I wanted was a chocolate cake with chocolate insides. We received a beautifully designed product. Everyone commented on the taste and wanted more after the wedding. I still dream about eating the cake again.
