Nittany Entertainment was very helpful during our planning process and they always responded promptly to my questions. In fact, I typically received responses to email within hours or even minutes. They have a good website that allows you to easily make song selections and special requests. Guests can log in and make requests too.During the wedding reception, the music selection was excellent. The D.J. had our guests dancing like crazy all night long. Many people told me that they had never seen so many people dancing at a wedding. It was a great party. I would recommend Nittany Entertainment to anyone planning a wedding reception or party in the State College area.

Fantastic DJ! Eric Stoner is one of the best. We are a very type-A couple and had nearly every minute outlined for what we wanted and how we wanted it. We were concerned we might be a little much for Eric, but we couldn't have been more wrong. Eric followed our ideas, plans and wishes exactly and even went above and beyond our expectations. He was smooth, professional and a great MC of the reception. We couldn't have asked for more -- you will not be disappointed with Nittany Entertainment!

I had a great experience with Nittany Entertainment. Tom was the DJ for my wedding and he did an excellent job. I wanted a very classic big band/Sinatra feel for my cocktail hour and dinner but more of a contemporary club atmosphere for the post dinner party. He got exactly the vibe and wanted and transitioned between the two perfectly. I highly recommend Tom and Nittany entertainment to other brides!

Eric Stoner was our DJ for our wedding reception and cocktail hour, and he did a great job emceeing and leadng a fantastic party. It was the most fun I had ever had at a wedding and that sentiment was echoed by most of our guests. Eric is an awesome and very professional dj. He played everything that we wanted and more and kept everybody dancing all night long. He was very accommodating and our guests all told us how much they liked the dj.

Nittany Entertainment was great to work with. They have a HUGE selection of songs, so basically anything you want, they have. Also, we loved their online system for planning the day--you just login whenever you have time and add the names of your bridal party, times of everything (dinner, toasts, etc), and pick songs for different events (bouquet toss, entrance, first dance, etc). You can request specific songs, or you can enter the types of music you like, age range of audience (so they know what to play), and they will pick great music for the audience. We loved that, since we didn't want to spend a lot of time picking out individual songs for the night! They also let your guests make requests beforehand through the online system. They were a little pricey, but in the end worth it.

Nittany Entertainment was an excellent choice for our wedding. Their online forms made planning easy and they were always willing to talk via phone, email, or meet in-person to review details or answer questions. Eric and Tom are good-natured, knowledgeable, flexible, and professional. On the day of our wedding, Tom made sure everyone, especially the happy couple, was having a good time. And when the flower girl (age 7) didn't catch the bouquet and flew into tears, he discreetly came over and told her he had a special song coming up just for her. That made her happy and a next thing we knew, she out on the dance floor having a blast! Tom helped us keep the scheduled events on track and made sure we didn't forget a thing that we wanted to do, but at the same watched our pace that day and flowed with it seamlessly. His attention to detail, easygoing personality, and technical skills made him an invaluable asset on our wedding day - he made being the DJ/MC/ringmaster look easy and made our event worry-free for us. We were extremely happy with our choice of Nittany Entertainment and would recommend them wholeheartedly.

I can't be any happier with our choice of Nittany Entertainment for our ceremony and reception. We live 4 hours from Central PA, and Eric was a pleasure to work with. He even took time out of a Convention he was at in Atlantic City, NJ to meet with us the week of the wedding because we live nearby. He had great ideas to use a song that we wanted played because they meant something to Chad and I, and it turned out great! Our wedding was on a Sunday afternoon, so that was a challenge because there wasn't a lot of drinking, but my guests and I were dancing all afternoon long. He quicky found out what type of music my guests responded well to and ran with it. Ryan was with him and he was out on the floor getting everyone going! He was awesome with the theme songs, making it easy for everyone to follow along. Eric has a great voice and personality, he made appropriate jokes, and even ended the night just the way my husband would have wanted without him saying anything to Eric. I can go on and on about how great these guys were, I had SO MANY compliments about them. I would tell anyone to use them for a wedding, they made our day very memorable. We needed a last minute change of music about a month before the wedding. These guys were really great about meeting and talking with us. They helped us arrange everything in less than a month before the wedding. The reception was great thanks to the awesome DJ we had!

Nittany Entertainment was a great vendor to work with. They are organized and have helpful planning services for your event. Our DJ Alex kept the guests on the Dance floor, and my husband and I danced the night away. The event is really set up to the way you want it. You can tell them what to play and what not to play. There are so many options and they are helpful with suggestions as well.

Eric was the DJ at our wedding reception on 7/10/10 at the Penn Stater in State College. He has done many wedding receptions there before and was familiar with the setup and all of the personnel. He took care of many things for us so that we didn't have to worry. I would be happy to recommend Eric at nittany entertainment as the DJ for your reception.

Eric did a great job helping me plan my wedding in State College even though I live in South Carolina. The online event planner was very helpful. Eric helped me to feel comfortable before the wedding when I worried about playing music that I wouldn't like and thought no one would dance! He was able to edit a song for our introduction that I thought he wouldn't have! He had everything I requested. Eric was very nice and in the end everyone was up and dancing! Thank you!

These people have pretty much everything in their playlist. When we asked for a hora (traditional Jewish) dance, they didn't even blink -- they were ready to roll. They had "I'm On A Boat" by Andy Samberg/Lonely Planet in there. They had this absolutely cool pop-music-done-like-orchestral-strings thing they played during the reception that everybody loved. When I (the bride) swung in there and asked for last-minute changes, they had absolutely no problem. When I said "Don't play [this or that dedication song] until that person comes back from the bathroom," they were utterly accommodating. When I requested a song not on our list to wrap the whole thing up, they were right there, pulling up the tunes and helping us get our final groove on. I can't recommend them enough.

Nittany Entertainment played a huge part in the organization of the reception. Their online planning form was easy to use and the dance floor was full all night!

Eric was very good at many things. He was polite and personable at our pre-wedding meetings, quick with communication by phone and email, and respectful of some of our off-beat wishes. He coordinated the reception entrances wonderfully - correctly pronouncing all the names and getting the timing perfect. He played our first dance song correctly, which was one of my favorite moments of our wedding. He played the cake cutting song that I wanted, even though only 60 seconds of the song could be played, warning me that it would be tough - we got it done in that time, and I’m glad we did it. We were originally going to go straight into our parent dances, but because the bar line was so long and spilling onto the dance floor, we waited. When I saw an open moment, I asked if we could do them on the fly, and he accommodated that request as well (even though he was about to eat his dinner) - I really appreciated this, as I wanted to maximize post-dinner time for dancing. The wireless mics were amazing for speeches. He approached me about some of the song requests he got to confirm that I was alright with playing them. He played almost all of the songs on our must-play list (12 of 15). He did not play anything from our Do Not Play List. He was not overbearing, he didn’t speak at all when not necessary or embarrass us or our guests with odd dances and stunts. Our guests were extremely pleased with the majority of the music played at the reception.Unfortunately, there were some issues. Sadly, our clearly-designated "last song" was played at 8:30 (our reception went until midnight). Also, Eric transitioned from crowd-pleasing, generation-neutral music into rap and dance music at around 9:00 pm. When I asked him if he could transition back to more family-friendly music, he yelled at me rudely and insisted that I had said that he play only the music I had listed in our paperwork. There were technical difficulties with the equipment. I never received a formal apology or follow-up after the wedding.To rebut Eric's response: 1. My husband is a wonderful person. It doesn't surprise me in the least that he would thank Eric for providing a service that, as I mentioned above, most people at our wedding truly enjoyed. As to my being high strung/overboard/angry - I will be the first to admit that I had certain expectations from Nittany Entertainment, and when they were not met, I was extremely disappointed. I did not show this disappointment, however, until I was rudely yelled at on my wedding day.2. Throughout 2009 while we were planning our wedding, an online planning system was never offered to me. I dutifully filled out the Word document sent to me by Eric, and sent over an excel spreadsheet with the identical information (I thought that would be helpful - apparently it was confusing) which is clearly marked "these songs end up being about 2 hours and 20 minutes of the 5 hour dance portion of the reception." It is laughable to me that Eric continues to claim that I only wanted him to play these songs, leaving nearly 3 hours of silence at our wedding reception.3. I mentioned the specific instances above where I changed things last minute and Eric responded wonderfully.If Eric had taken the time and energy spent writing this response to simply call or email me with a formal apology, perhaps this could have been resolved.

Eric helped us plan and was very easy to work with. On our wedding day, Tom put on an amazing show for our guests! He read the audience well, and chose songs that everyone enjoyed. Numerous friends have told us that they have never danced more at a wedding before!

My husband, Penn State graduate, and I were planning a wedding from South Florida to be held at Toftrees in State College and Eric was the best bang for our buck. He arranged his schedule to meet with us when we were in PA, called and clarified information, emailed back and forth and helped make our wedding unforgettable! My husband and I were planning a Central PA wedding from 500 miles away with guests ranging in age from 2 to 84 and attending the wedding from all along the east coast. Nittany Entertainment not only made the music selection a seamless process but also played all of our specific requests. When friends from out of town requested more "local" Boston favorites not on our list, Eric was able to easily queue them up in minutes! Other DJs we had contacted either never got back to us or took more than a week to respond to our initial inquiries. Eric and Nittany Entertainment got back to us in less than 12 hours! If you want quality service, a responsive DJ, and an unlimited music selection that will keep guests of all ages and personalities dancing all night, Nittany Entertainment should be at the top of your list!

Nittany Entertainment was very easy to work with and were careful to make sure they understood our expectations of our wedding. I would have liked more songs on our list of suggestions to have been played - that's my only complaint.

We had an awesome experience with Nittany Entertainment and Eric Stoner as the DJ in particular! He was very easy to work with. We felt very confident in his ability to "run the show" at the reception. He listened to what the bride wanted for the ceremony music and was able to pull it off even though we just added that party of the wedding to his list of responsibilities at the last minute. The sound system was excellent both at the indoor reception and the outdoor ceremony site. Great job!

I had planned my wedding in a very short time, so in the time given I believe I made a good choice. Given more time and a lot more communication it probably would have been perfect. It was through no fault of Nittany Entertainment, just miscommunications due to last minute wedding planning. The worksheet given ahead of time was very helpful. It definitely helped since I had no time to actually sit with the dj to discuss what I wanted, we just wrote it down and it was taken care of. There were a few things I was disappointed in. My wedding march did not start when I wanted and was started, stopped, and restarted. Made it feel like it was the rehearsal, not the actual wedding. I was promised family friendly music and due to a few children and most of my family church going people this was important to me. There were a few songs that I believe were inappropriate. The worksheet asks for what songs you want played at certain events (cake cutting, garter toss, etc). Songs in which I did not request played during the bouquet and garter toss (I had a song written down to be played, it played, but after the unrequested ones). Once again, things that had I had time to discuss I'm sure they would have done it perfectly. Overall the service was good.

we used nittany entertainment for our daughter's wedding this past september.they provided us with a fun karaoke set up and dj for the rehearsal dinner that was a lot of fun! our guests loved it! eric stoner was our dj the following day for the wedding reception which was awesome. he has tons of enthusiasm and energy and added a lot to the success of the party, we were very, very pleased with nittany entertainment. they were always very accommodating, professional to work with did a fabulous job. the sound system was great....they kept the party going with great tunes and they are all around great guys. i would highly recommend them for any event!

Nittany Entertainment was excellent at my wedding. So much seemed to go wrong - the photographer got a little carried away so the reception started late, the caterer didn't have the chicken cooked right, and all my guests were starting to get annoyed, but the DJ saved the day. He kept the dance floor packed, he kept things moving so nobody got more bored, he even impressed some of my older guests by having specific songs that they requested. He even had my grandparent's wedding song! I was originally torn between Nittany Entertainment and a cheaper DJ, but I am so glad I took the entertainment seriously - you totally get what you pay for. They were so easy to work with, I'm trying to convince my cousin to use them as well

Nittany Entertainment and Eric Stoner are AMAZING!!!!!!!! Eric was extremely helpful, professional, and flexible. He traveled all the way from State College to Pittsburgh for our wedding on July 25, 2009. We couldn't beat the price or service. The dance floor was packed all night long, and we received compliments from the younger and older guests at our wedding. Everyone wanted to know who our dj was!!!!! We definitely passed his name on to many of our friends. Eric was so very prepared and had everything and anything that we wanted. We have nothing but praise for the dj service provided us by Nittany Entertainment. My son and his wife had a belated reception due to his military schedule. I planned everything with input from the bride and groom from afar. I met with the DJ that would be working the event. Everything was exactly as we had planned. The dance floor was hopping even with an afternoon reception and not that many drinkers. We've already recommended them to friends.

Nittany Entertainment was awesome!! They covered all the necessary material beforehand (what songs for what dances, names, when what was happening) and helped keep us on a schedule during the reception. They made our style of music (Rock, Classic Rock, Alternative) work for a wedding. They have a very extensive song list and can work anything in that you could want. The two individuals we worked with beforehand were very personable and fun. Eric did an awesome job of announcing everyone and keeping everyone moving. My only small complaint is that I feel the price should have been lower; however, most of the DJs in the area are overpriced, but do so because they are in such high demand. Overall, I would highly recommend Nittany Entertainment.

We were very happy with DJ Eric from Nittany Entertainment who provided DJ and MC services for our entire wedding reception (5 hours service!). He was extremely professional, courteous, and took our taste into account (we got to select the songs we wanted to be included, and the order of various dance tracks). He also included our selection of ethnic music songs, and kept the guests dancing past midnight!

DJ Eric was a great choice as our wedding reception DJ. He was extremely professional and easy to work with throughout the process of selecting a DJ, meeting with him a few times to go over the contract and select our music, etc. He has a huge selection of songs and several guests complimented the dance music after the wedding... he did a great job!

Overall, we were pleased with Nittany Entertainment. There were several miscommunications that occurred between the representative from the company and the DJ who showed up, and I didn't know about this until members of my wedding party told us they'd handled it. Our guests had a great time and all-in-all I would recommend them -- just be VERY specific with everything you want, and ask to be in direct touch with the DJ who is working your event.
