We found Rob through a friend of ours and could not be happier with our decision. Rob, and his wife/assitant May, are the greatest! Very professional, fun and easy going. They totally made us feel at ease.

We brought our dog Cocoa to our engagement session, and May was so great with her. She totally made Cocoa feel at ease, and we got some great shots.

For the wedding, we were on a pretty tight schedule, and went through numerous schedule changes, but Rob just rolled with it and made it happen for us. He's also very non-instrusive...at some points I didn't even notice him and his team shooting pictures.

Rob is a great great guy to work with. He's open and honest, and stays true to his beliefs/visions. A true artist, and a great photographer. I can't wait to see the wedding photos, and I definitely recommend everyone to check him out. Maybe he'll be the perfect match for you too!

Rob did a fantastic job capturing the moments of our city hall ceremony and chinese banquet reception. We really appreciated the thought he put into the pictures. They came out wonderful. And to boot, he's a great guy to hang out with.

Rob was wonderful to work with. As an event planner we have to juggle multiple vendors. Rob made my job so easy by providing high quality services, professionalism and flexibility. I do not think I have words to describe how happy my bride was with his work, but his pictures speak volumes.

What primary photographic style do you identify with?

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes

Is your media preference film or digital?

I shoot with digital bodies, though I've been trained in flim.

How many photographers do you work with?

With the request of the client, I work with a 2nd shooter.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?

Yes, it will be me capturing your wedding day.

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?

Not for the same day. Yes, the same weekend.

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?

Yes. I network with many other photographers and we all cover one another in case of emergency.

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?

2 camera bodies, back up camera, telephoto zoom lenses, prime lenses, multiple flashes, extra batteries, radio tranceivers, and my skills.

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?

Yes. I have back up equipment for the back up equipment.

Do you charge hourly or full day?

Full day only.

Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?

Yes, overtime as needed. I charge $400/hr extra.

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

One. That's usually to eat during the dinner portion of the wedding. I don't know too many people who like to have their photos taken w/ a mouth full of food.

Do you charge for travel?

If it's outside the 50 mile radius from San Francisco, then yes. $2 per mile.

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?

4 - 6 weeks after the event.

In what format are the initial proofs offered?

Website and low resolution files on a DVD.

How long can the client keep the proofs?

They are yours.

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?

Yes. I retain all copyrights for all photos. My clients retain rights to print and online sharing.

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?

Yes. I'll make you famous!!! Of course, I won't if you don't want to be.
