Noland's did a great job with our Wedding Cake and our Wedding Cupcakes (all 225 of them!).
Noland's was originally only going to do our Wedding Cake, but after a snafu with our caterer left us without cupcakes with only 3 weeks to go before the wedding, Noland's was able to do our Wedding cupcakes too. Super awesome! And on top of it, they delivered after hours so that our cupcakes wouldn't melt since we were having an outdoor wedding.
The design of the cake was just darling and exactly what we wanted. Amy drew it just by listening to me describe what I wanted and by looking at some colors on a couple of ribbons.
I can't wait to go back to Noland's next August for our anniversary cake and for any and all cake or cupcake needs that we have in the future. Thanks Noland's!

We had four different flavors of cake. We had lemon with lemon filling...delicious. We had carrot cake...yummy. We had chocolate cake with peanut butter creme filling...super good. We had their famous banana cake...out of this world good if you like bananas. Our cake was beautiful and delicious and that's what we really wanted. Wedding cakes aren't cheap, but we feel like we got our money's worth at Noland's. Many of our guests commented at how good the cake was, and although the cake was bog enough to more than feed our crowd there wasn't much left. That's a very good sign.

When we decided to go with Noland's Cake Shop, I had to admit that I was pleased with our tasting meeting and the description of what they had. They showed us beautiful photographs and did a decent job with arranging the cake to meet our needs.
However, I would NOT recommend this vendor, and here is why. When we did the tasting, there was a limited amount of cake to try...which is understandable. But when we decided to go with the white champagne cake because the associate recommended it because it was supposed to be "so good," we shouldn't have listened. It tasted like PURE alcohol and NONE of my guests liked it. NONE.
The decoration on my cake was very nice, although that should be expected for the price that we paid. But, if you don't know the name of both the bride and the groom, DON'T PUT IT ON THE CAKE! They didn't know the name of the groom, so they only put my name, the bride's name, on the cake which resulted in countless jokes and insults about the cake! That is a huge problem to me seeing as we paid all of this money for a decent cake.
My problems:
1) the cake did not taste good. Don't go with White Champagne...or demand to try it first.
2) don't put only the bride's name on the cake...I didn't marry myself!! If you don't know the groom's name, then don't write it. And by the way, who writes names on a wedding cake???!!!
3) whenever I called with a question, they NEVER EVER called me back...they only called me to collect their money...most of which was NOT deserved or earned.
Needless to say, the cake was one of the low points on my wedding.
Also, I wanted to ad that it was nice that we got to have the sheet cake as an option...like the bride below this review had a chance to have. HOWEVER, my sheet cake was displayed, for EVERYONE to see so they all knew that they got sheet cake...it was no secret. Thanks Noland's.

You cannot go wrong at Noland's. The taste and prices cannot be beat. We went with the nondairy frosting rather than the fondant which kept the price down quite a bit, and we actually preferred the flavor. Our personal favorite is the poppy seed. you'll be glad you went with them.

My fiance has been going to Noland's since he was a kid so we knew instantly that we wanted our wedding cake from them. When we went there for our cake tasting it went so well. THey were very helpful and answered all of our questions.
The cake was exactly as I had pictured it and everyone loved it! Some of the guests were actually trying to nab cakes at other tables so that they can eat it (while the guests were away from their table on the dancefloor).

My cake was SO BEAUTIFUL! It was a round tri-layer fondant cake with amazing detail. I've been to dozens of weddings and I can honestly say that my cake was the nicest I have ever seen, AND it actually tasted great, which was important to me. They were very affordable. I told them I was on a budget, and they suggested that I have a beautiful cake with every extravagance I would ideally want (that was slightly smaller than I needed) and also a sheet cake in the same flavor to serve from the back. My cake was fabulous, and no one knew that most people were served from a much cheaper sheet cake. PLUS, they offer free cake at your one year anniversary to share with your spouse so there's no reason to save the top piece.
