The Nordstrom Wedding Suite

I was very pleased with the service and my dress shopping experience. The sales staff was very helpful! I actually fell in love with the first dress i picked and tried on. They were helpful and encouraged me to tty on other dresses just to make sure - but the first one was the ONE!!!! Thanks so much!!!!!

I shopped for wedding and bridesmaid dresses at Nordstrom, with the help of Elizabeth in the Wedding Suite. Everyone was very helpful, and the Wedding Suite has a large, private room for brides to try on wedding gowns. They have veils, jewelry, and shoes that you can try on with the dresses. I ordered my bridesmaid dresses from Nordstrom, and each dress was delivered to the store closest to my bridesmaids. Alterations were free because I used my Nordstrom credit card. When I needed to return one of the bridesmaid dresses due to an issue with the size, that went smoothly as well.

From beginning to end we loved our contact with the wonderful staff at Nordstrom's (Short Hills Mall). Jennifer took all of our information and helped this middle aged bride to be (and her other middle aged bride to be) to feel safe and secure enough to come in and meet with two personal stylists to attempt to find not one but two dresses to wear for a less than traditional wedding. The service is free of charge and both stylists, Vie and Debbie, were highly energized and excited for our fittings. We joke that it took us six years to say "I do" and six minutes to find two dresses! LOL! They found us the perfect gowns, shoes and jewlry for our special day and there was no pressure to spend more than we wanted to as we could have walked away without purchasing anything if we wanted to. These ladies were top notch and we will send others their way as well as ourselves for other events in our lives. Thank you Jennifer, Vie and Debbie!

The bridal boutique at Nordstroms was an amazing experience. Their staff is extremely helpful and the variety of dresses and prices would be perfect for any girl or budget.

Nordstrom is a great alternative to standard bridal stores. They start off by talking to you about your every day style and wedding vision. This conversation enables them to pull dresses and accessories they think will work for you. I enjoyed this because at other stores I would give a style of dress I wanted and that style did not always fit my "vision". They do not have a lot of ball gown/long trains if that is what you are looking for.

They offer unique dresses with great accessory choices. I chose a $800 lace dress by Jovani. It arrived within a month of my order. I accessorized with sashes and a great faux fur jacket. I chose Louboutin shoes and accessoried with BHLDN jewlery. Many compliments at a great price for the dress. Alterations were about $40 and were completed within a few...

After a long stretch through Coral Gables infamous Miracle Mile wedding boutiques, I found my dress at The Village of Merrick Park, Nordstroms, in Coral Gables, FL! I was not aware there even was a Wedding Suite, but to my amazing surprise Miriam, was my wedding dress angel! She listened to me, worked with my wants, my body type, I would call her from the West Coast (where I live) and have her order my dresses or hold dresses for me, so the days that I would be in town I would go and try on dresses. My first huge success were my beautiful Red Bow Pumps I got...and from then on Miriam helped me pick my final dress, she helped dress my mother, grandmother and both aunts...from head to toe. Could not have asked for a better personal shopper that understood all my needs and in the end felt like family and was truly happy for me and my big day! Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed, better service can't be bought! <3

The Wedding Suite at Nordstrom in San Francisco is a bride’s dream come true. So hospitable and great customer service. While I didn’t end up purchasing my wedding dress here, they did do the alterations on my dress, and we purchased my husband’s suit, the groomsmen attire, the bridesmaid dresses, my shoes, veil and accessories, my mom’s dress, my dad’s attire, and wedding party gifts. We worked with both Melissa (who left the store to work at Kate Spade) and Heather Bowser, who is the Wedding Suite manager. We worked most closely with Heather, and she is tremendous – she got a great vibe for my style, the wedding style, and everyone else involved as well. She helped me select the gifts for our wedding party, as well as a dress for my bridal shower. I felt so comfortable with Heather, and she made my experience so wonderful. We worked with Lily in alterations. She did a great job of cleaning up my dress, removing snags, adding an eye hook and snap on the back of the dress, sewing in bra cups, and sewing in a French bustle (the dress didn’t need to be hemmed or taken in). The French bustle looked great in the store, but after the ceremony when my sister-in-law bustled my dress, it held under the weight of the dress for all of about 10 minutes before shredding the bustle tie. How disappointing, especially given the price I paid for the minor alterations. Anyhow, we were able to do a makeshift bustle with a safety pin, which worked out ok. Other than that, I had a fabulous experience with the Wedding Suite at the San Francisco Centre store. Of course, Nordstrom is fairly pricey, but in my opinion you get what you pay for. Because of the great customer service I’ve received at Nordstrom throughout my wedding planning experience, I will be a customer for life!

I got an amazing dress at Nordstroms and was lucky enough to have Cindy as my stylist. She was amazing the whole way through, even when I was occasionally with other stylists for fittings due to my limited availability. Even when there was a slight issue where my dress was not ready for me when I came in for a fitting, Cindy made sure it was all made up for. I highly recommend the Wedding Suite at Nordstroms, and Cindy in particular.

RJ served as Chris' personal shopper. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He made sure Chris picked nothing less than the PERFECT suit at a great price. He WILL bargain shop for you. He even told Chris to go to a different store to buy his shoes because the other store was running a better deal!

I my wedding dresses at The Wedding Suite at Nordstrom in Oak Brook. My consultant was Lauren and she was amazing. It was the best wedding dress appointment I had (and I had tried easily 8 shops before Nordstrom)- Lauren pulled shoes, accessories, under garments- everything for me to try on with the dresses. She was always organized and prepared. I ended up getting 2 dresses! One for the ceremony and one for the reception because they were such great deals! The seamstress was amazing too- I wish I could get Stacy to do all my alterations. They both made me look awesome! It was a great experience and I hope future brides try Nordstrom first when they get engaged!

AMAZING service here. They will help you with anything from dress to shoes to undergarments. You can purchase a dress there or just be "styled" with a dress from somewhere else. I had a minor dress "emergency" just a week before my wedding and they got a seamstress up immediately and resolved my problem. Bridesmaid styling was great, too. Very reasonably priced dresses.

I absolutely LOVED the Nordstrom Wedding Suite in downtown Seattle. I was not interested in a typical wedding dress (or the typical price of a wedding dress!) and so I looked at Nordstrom. I tried on dresses at several different bridal boutiques, but my experience at Nordstrom was by far the most enjoyable.

I felt comfortable the moment I walked in. The staff was friendly and helpful, and I did not feel pressured at all.

My bridesmaid dressed and my Mom's Mother-of-the Bride dress all came from Nordstrom Thousand Oaks. Everyone there was so helpful and accommodating! If they didn't have the right size they would order it for you and ship it to you for free! I highly recommend Nordstroms as their service is unparalleled!

I found my dress at the wedding suite at Nordstrom in the Galleria - it is a Nicole Miller gown, embellished with a crystal belt that is typically sold as a headband. The wedding consultants in the suite were wonderfully helpful and the alterations woman, Hannah, who altered my dress took it from pretty to perfect! By the time I had my final fitting, the dress looked and fit like it was a custom gown.
The selection of dresses was excellent and I was very happy with the price of the dress that I found - even alterations were very reasonably priced, and the turnaround time was very quick!
I would recommend the wedding suite whether you need your gown, bridesmaids dresses, shoes, or jewelery - I found all of these things through the wedding suite and was very happy with absolutely every purchase!

I had been engaged for over a year when I finally decided to try on ceremony dresses. Throughout that year I had seen some styles that caught my eye on the Nordstrom website. On my first visit to the Nordstrom Wedding Suite in Garden State Plaza I met a wedding stylist by the name of Geraldo M. I tried on some of the dresses I had seen online and was not happy with how they looked or fit. Geraldo asked me to explain what I liked and disliked about each of the dresses I had tried on. Geraldo returned with a David Tutera by Faviana dress. I was hesitant to try it on because I did not imagine myself wearing a princess dress on my wedding day. I saw the white Thalia dress and I knew, "It was my dress!" Geraldo listened to me carefully and based on my likes he nailed it on the head. The dress had to be special ordered in ivory. After this flawless experience I asked Geraldo to help me with my bridesmaids Two Birds dresses and accessories. My look was topped off with earrings, a necklace and bracelet by Nadri. I ordered the Badgley Mishka 'Susan' open toe pump in ivory on nordstrom.com to wear for my ceremony. In the end Geraldo assisted my mother and several other family members in finding their perfect dress for the wedding. Geraldo was like my personal wedding stylist. Geraldo went above and beyond to make us all look fabulous. With my busy career I needed to find an establishment that could give me personal attention and flexibility. Another plus is the convenience of having seamstresses on site to make alterations for a fee. The Wedding Suite and Geraldo provided the expertise, guidance, and service I needed to create the wedding of my dreams.

The MAC counter girls were simply fabulous! They can do amazing things and are always open to your suggestions and want you to be nothing but happy!!!

Rebecca @ The Bridal Suite in Nordstrom. Impeccable eye. Bravo needs to give her a TV show. She is a gem and I know she is going to get scooped up to conquer the world. She made the look head to toe for my destination wedding and I received so many compliments on my jewelry and my simple Nicole Miller dress ...I don't mean that in an "awe, you are a bride and you look so beautiful" kind of way...I mean "good-God, you look like you stepped out of a magazine" kind of compliments. She also manages a great team of girls who are super helpful.

Laura Mercier has an amazing bronzing gel that you can mix into your foundation after you have a tan. It makes your makeup look natural and beautiful. I cant live without this now. My husband told me on the day this was the most beautiful he had ever seen me. This gel is an absolute must have if you are having a beach wedding.

I like that you don't have to make an appointment beforehand to try on makeup, The lady was very friendly. I have no clue about make up so she gave me directions on how to put on the makeup and stuck to my "natural" look. She recommended Dior, which was pricier than I wanted, but she gave me a good idea of what colors (foundation, blush, shadows, lipstick) best suit my face.

I ordered my mother-of-the-bride dress and it arrived quickly. It was too small so I exchanged it for a larger size and the return process was sooo easy. Very helpful and friendly customer service.

I found my dress the first day I went in the store. The sales person was very helpful, even helped my find a discount as well. It was a wonderful experience!!

My mother in law had been going to Josclyn for years and suggested I use her. I am so glad that I did. Josclyn did my makeup and I looked like a movie star, but I still looked like myself. Great work Josclyn. She is a Mac makeup artist, formely was at Menlo Mall now I believe she works out of Paramus Mall. She is the truth! Use her even it isn't for bridal makeup she really knows her stuff.

I didn't need a wedding gown as I wore my mom's, but we got our bridesmaids' dresses here. They were beautiful dresses and the sales lady was so nice to work with. My girls had different tastes in style, but she was able to figure out something they all liked. Very easy to work with.

Love Nordstrom. I bought my dress is two sizes a year before the wedding and then returned the one I didn't wear. The alterations were reasonably priced (less than $100) and were done in a couple of weeks. I did have a small problem with the alterations, but they were done by a different Nordstrom, and they ended up sending out a seamstress the morning of my wedding to make sure everything was fixed. I had a beautiful dress and, with alterations, it was still well under $1,000. Love it!

I got my RD Dress, RD Shoes, Spanx, my Wedding Shoes, Strapless Bra for my Dress and my Make-up for the day of at Nordstoms. I love this store and they were incredibly helpful in helping me find all of the dresses and shoes i needed for my days events. I even bught my RD dress at a different nordies and they let me bring it in take the shoes i wanted to buy up to the dress area and try on the dress with the shoes without purchasing them first. They are most amazing store i am a forever nordies girl!

When I was looking for my bridesmaid dresses, I anted something beautiful that the girls could also wear again (no satin poofy dresses for me!). So we contacted Nordstom and found the most gorgeous purple Maggy London dress at a great price that looked amazing on all of my bridesmaids! Nordstrom return policy can't be beat, so when one of my girls needed a smaller size, we contacted the wedding department and they were super helpful! Skip the boutiques, go to Nordstrom for your bridesmaid dresses! You won't be sorry!

Awesome service in the men attire department. They had found a perfect outfit for the groom, altered pants and pressed shirt while we were shopping. I also purchased my dress from nordstrom.com and it came perfect, better then in the picture with no alteration needed.

I can't speak highly enough about the bridal services at Nordstrom. This is one of the few stores across the country with a proper bridal shop, and it's fabulous. Regular bridal boutiques are expensive and it's frustrating that you can't just grab what you want and bring it in. I wanted a low-key shopping experience with affordable dresses and that's exactly what I got.

What makes this a five-star experience is Nordstrom's legendary customer service. The consultants were all very nice and friendly, and they let you take photos in the dresses. Other places won't allow it, which is lame. Even better, they bring shoes, undergarments, jewels and other accessories to your room so you can pull together your entire look in one store. They also provide make-up and hair consultations. I loved being able to get everything in one place. Also, alterations are free when you pay full price for your dress. It's just too good to pass...

I wanted a knee-length white summer dress and found it through Nordstrom's website. The store in the mall did not have much to offer as far as wedding dresses go, but we ordered 6 dresses online. I tried them on, picked my dress, and returned the other 5 without any trouble. Although summery, my lace dress was still elegant. It only cost about $200. I'm very happy with my dress!

Bought my dress on nordstrom.com for my destination wedding. I bought a beautiful tea length ivory silk dress with a rosette trim. A very high quality dress for such a great price. It is a great website if you are looking for a more non traditional wedding dress.

I bought my wedding dress from Nordstrom. I had a terrible experience at David's Bridal and decided that I would stay away from Bridal Boutiques looking to make a buck. The dress I wanted was only on Nordstrom's website in their bridal section so I couldn't try it on in the store without purchasing it first. But I went to Neiman Marcus and found the same dress (1 size smaller) on clearance and tried it on. It was small but I decided I did like the way it looked and went back to Nordstrom to order it in my size. The store associate was so nice and was able to price match the clearance price at Neiman Marcus. She ordered it for me online and had it shipped to my house for free. I think I spend a total of $268 on my dress and I found it on my doorstep 3 days later! Very pleased with their customer service and none of the hassling you get at a bridal store to buy more products, etc. And their alterations were reasonable!

I purchased my wedding dress online at Nordstrom.com and I wasn't sure I was going to keep it when it came in the mail. I called Nordstrom and made an appointment with a bridal consultant at the downtown Chicago store. My consultant was Carrie Schwebl and from day one she was amazing. Carrie was very sweet and professional on the phone as well as in person. When I arrived in the store for the time Carrie pulled other dresses that fit my body type and placed them in a room for me along with shoes and jewelry. I ended up keeping the dress I purchased and Carrie was able to order a whole new one ( the one I received was quite wrinkled). She also had me fitted for the proper under garments and introduced me to alterations. Eceryone was very nice and very professional and after all was said and done I had a beautiful dress that was very flattering. Carrie was also able to help me find a last minute maid of honor dress whiich she handled with ease. Carrie's reassurances and glowing personality made finding the perfect bridal gown a wonderful experience for me.

This review is for Nordstrom's alterations department and retail store. It seems like customer service is a thing of the past at other retailers - but not at Nordstrom's!

Alterations Department:
After scouring many stores and online sites I was having a hard time finding a wedding dress. I happened to go into Nordstrom while I was looking for a dress to wear as a guest to someone else's wedding when I found THE DRESS. As soon as I put it on I just fell in love. I had to have it, but the store did not have my size in stock. The salesperson quickly found a store with my size and had it shipped to me. While I was there I asked her about alterations because I knew that at a minimum the dress was going to have to be hemmed dramatically. The salesperson recommended the alterations department highly and boy am I glad I took her advice!

My dress was full length with a mesh, satin, and lace overlay that I knew would be very difficult to alter. When I met with the employee in the alterations department he seemed very confident that they would be able to handle all of the alterations. I had the dress hemmed, the lace bodice shortened by taking up the shoulders, and the mesh sleeves taken in. I thought matching the lace in the shoulders would be very difficult if not impossible, and thought taking in the mesh sleeves would leave a tell tale seam...yet when I picked up my dress....

WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW!

It was perfect! Seriously, my mouth dropped open. I just could not believe that you could not tell the dress had been altered. It cost $70 for all of the alterations, but it was well worth it! I could not have been more pleased and I would never hesitate to take any of my most special pieces there for alterations. A++++!

Overall Store:
Since I had such a fabulous experience with my wedding dress I have begun shopping at Nordstrom much more. I bought several dresses and had them shipped to my Maid of Honor so she could pick out her favorite for the wedding. Nordstrom's flexible return policy allowed us to return the dresses she did not like easily.

I have bought other clothes, accessories, and beauty products both online and in the store. In all instances, I have received quality products, timely delivery, and excellent customer service.

I am now a dedicated Nordstrom shopper!

As far as the dress goes, I was a very easy bride. The dress was about $150, I did not get any alterations, and I bought it without ever going into a store to try anything on.

I ordered my dress online from Nordstrom.com. I didn't want the whole princess/ballgown/strapless/blah wedding dress. I had been shopping online for quite awhile, and they had a great selection of "different" wedding gowns. But I'd had my eye on this specific one. It was ivory, tea length, pleated, empire waist, v-neck; just right for me. I ordered the size I figured I'd be, it arrived in two weeks, and I was in love. I thought it was perfect and fit great. A few months after getting the original dress, I realized I probably should have gotten the next smaller size, as I had a little too much room in certain areas. By that time I was worried it would be too late and I would have to get it altered and deal with it. But I called the store anyway. The woman was very kind and told me they of course could exchange it for me - they did not have a time limit for returns/exchanges. They sent me the new dress so I could compare the sizes and let me send back whichever one I decided I didn't need. She also informed me that if I wanted to travel up to the Portland store (a couple hours from where I live) they would be happy to do alterations as well. I ended up going with the smaller size and it worked out perfectly.

Nordstrom bridal jewelry is fabulous!! I loved my bracelet and got the most complements on it! Great quality and ALWAYS great service!

I saw the dress I wanted on the Nordstrom website and Nordstrom's associate Trudy helped me order it. It arrived to the store, I tried it on, and I was in love. My dad's girlfriend saw it and we almost cried. My fiance's mom saw it and said, "This is the most gorgeous dress! You are going to look so beautiful in it!" It was the Tiered Silk Gown by Tadashi Shoji in ivory. He does beautiful formal dresses and I bought it in ivory. The dress was alternating tiers of chiffon and charmeuse over a silk gown. Don't go to a regular bridal shops. All night people kept telling me how thin I looked. It is the dress you have been dreaming of your entire life. I knew when I laid my eyes on this baby, it was the one. My husband couldn't take his eyes off of me, along with all of the guests. It was a great value at $500. We had a tight budget and it was perfect. His dresses sell out quick all over the world, I had to special order through Nordstrom's website. I highly recommend Nordstrom's and Trudy to help you for your special day, they have a special bridal specialist section and can work with any budget.

We got both my wedding dress and our bridesmaid dresses from Nordstrom's. Though ordering through the website can be a little harrowing if they run out of stock quickly, the phone service for weddings is FANTASTIC. So helpful!

Most stores will also do custom tailoring of their clothes. I highly recommend taking a look at their dresses. You can save a lot of time, money, & stress!

After having a hard time finding a wedding dress I went to Nordstrom to look around the store. I found a beautiful selection of white and off white dresses that easily are wedding dresses. I ordered my dress in store and did not have to pay shipping. It arrived in perfect shape about 1.5 weeks after I ordered it, and it looked wonderful on my wedding day.

the associate that helped us has been helping our family for quite some time; jerrad in fine jewelry. he had a ring made for my husband using his grandfather's old wedding band. so special. and he special ordered in two stacking rose gold eternity bands for my ring set. a pleasure to work with and just an all around wonderful person!

The employees at Nordstrom are amazing and so knowledgeable. Just schedule an appointment and go through the book and select what you want to see, they bring them in and you can view and select one, and if you plan it right and purchase it on your rewards nordstrom card on a 10x point day you get a lot of money back!

Even though I wound up not buying my dress from Nordstrom, I actually tried many of them first. I would order from their online selections (much larger than in the stores) (enough to not pay shipping), try them on at home and then wound up returning them at the store. Some I returned right away, some I waited for a while, until I actually found the dress I liked from another store. The returns were painless.. no questions asked.

I also bought some accessories there and I had great help fitting and choosing what I needed. The service help at the stores is really very good--much better than other stores. I wish I could have found dresses at the store rather than online.. that is one of my complaints---that there isnt enough of a selection at the store.

This was my second wedding, and we were doing an outdoor Hawaiian-theme wedding. I wanted something simple and appropriate, but still a white dress. Nordstrom's had such a great selection, and they have a great return policy. Website had great information and multiple views of the dresses so I could pick just the right one. My dress was perfect! It was under $200, and very unique. Everyone commented how beautiful it was, and I didn't have to trip over a train or worry about a bustle while walking in the grass all afternoon. Great selection, great service (online), great and easy return policy to store or online, and prompt shipping of items. HIghly recommend, especially if your local wedding gown resources are as limited as mine.

Recently got married on 4/3/10 and I was on a budget since my husband and I paid for everything, so when I went to look for my wedding dress I decided to check out the local mall and I found the perfect wedding dress, it was a prom dress, but who was going to know that it was an actual prom dress. Everyone loved it and said I looked beautiful, which I did haha! I am petite so I was able to get a fit into a juniors size, well I still do lol, so check out the prom section and your local mall. Got my dress online, and it fit true to size, and looked like the picture indicated (it actually looked better, but that s totally a bonus). Saved on cost, had free shipping and a great return policy, in case it had not fit. Wonderful dress and I dont think David's bridal could have done better for cost. Win. :)

I had my makeup done at the Chanel counter in Nordstrom the morning of my wedding. The staff was amazing! They were really fun and worked well as team--by the end I had about 5 people jumping in doing different things to my face and helping each other out!

I did a test run a month before the wedding but the makeup artist was transferring and no one else was working that day so he wrote down notes and told them to change things accordingly.

I liked that they are allowed to curl your lashes and apply false lashes themselves. I had a test makeup session at Sephora and they wanted me to do those parts because they legally are not allowed to perform them.
My makeup looked amazing and they really listened to what I wanted, even though they were hesitant to add the amount of drama I wanted--in the end they loved the result!

I paid $12 for the false lash set and the application of them and then I bought the lipstick and lipgloss, no other fees for doing my makeup for an hour!
The staff was also great about doing an amazing job in a hurry, I was about 15 minutes late to my appointment and I needed to leave at a certain time to make it to the Chapel to get dressed. One person kept track of time and told the others when they had 5 minutes left.

I had a great time, and so did my bridesmaid who was with me--they touched up her face and told her she didn't have to buy anything and actually gave her perfume samples because she forgot to bring perfume with her!

I knew that Nordstrom would have a good selection of "non-wedding" dresses that I could wear to my casaul beach wedding. They have an easy website to navigate through and when I found the dress they held it in store for me to try on. Perfect and great prices!

We found nicer Calvin Klein dresses at Nordstrom for the bridesmaid. I wanted them to have modern, re-wearable dresses. We ended up buying the exact same dresses at overstock.com because it was cheaper.

After many months of searching, trying on disgusting trial dresses at Davids, I bought my dress online at Nordstrom.com. I picked out the dress (which cost $500 less than any dress I had seen elsewhere), and although there was a delay in shipping (it was originally on back order), it came in and was perfect. The quality of the fabric, the cut and design was just superb! Furthermore, I called around to other places for alterations, and the prices were outrageous! Additionally, no one could get my dress in for months. So, I called Nordstrom and made an appointment for alterations. They got me in that same week and took just 10 days to get my dress back to me. It fit perfectly! I am so pleased!!

My dress was more casual with it being a 2nd marriage, but it was beautiful and fit an outdooor wedding ceremony perfectly

I found an amazing dress at Nordstrom!! I really hated going to bridal salons. Ugh. It was an awful experience. They were so pretentious and uptight and treated me in general like there was something wrong with me that I didn't want something ridiculous with all this poof and silliness. But Nordstrom was great. I found a beautiful dress. Bought it, took it home and ROCKED it at the wedding! Nordstrom has some beautiful selections. Would highly recommend it. I also just looked it up and see that it is now on sale!

I got my shoes at Nordstroms on-line. I was able to have them shipped in a few sizes and styles to the store without haveing to pay for all of them. It was a great service.

I found a beautiful champagne-colored evening dress that was perfect for my daytime second wedding. It cost about $400 plus alterations. The alterations were difficult to do but they did a great job. The dress was ready on time and pressed. Beautiful! Great selection of gowns that would be perfectly suitable for almost any wedding occasion, except for the white ballgown type.

I ordered a dress "off the rack" on line and when it arrived it was too big. I called the closest Nordstrom and they were so helpful! They did a country wide search and found the ONE REMAINING dress in my size [it wa sin Rhode Island]. Then, at no additional cost to me, they had it sent to our Nordstrom over night and I went in to be sure it fit. It was incredible! Highly recommend!

I *love* Nordstrom, and I don't toss that word around casually when it comes to big corporations. I actually got my dress online, and bought all my day-of under-bits from them too. The customer service is unbeatable, and there's no crazy wedding-industrial-complex mania and pressure.

I ordered my dress on line and when I received it, it did not fit. I called and ordered one size up and they sent it to me overnight at no charge even though it was my fault I had ordered the wrong size. It came neatly pressed and packaged very well. The sales clerks were very helpful and friendly.

I ordered two wedding dresses after looking at them online. I returned one to my local store that I didn't like and had them alter the one I did like. They did and incredible job, lots of detail required, and it was only an additional $100. Much nicer than the people I dealt with at wedding shops!

Located beautiful gown with Nordstrom associate. She also assisted with selection of perfect sandal. The dress fit perfectly and the associate even suggested nordstrom "tape" rather than a bra as dress back was below waist. Great suggestion! Nothing else could have worked. Several calls were not returned for a number of days, but all in all, fantastic experience.

I was very happy with the service I received at the MAC counter on the day of the wedding. I was running late for the appointment, so they were assisting other customers when I arrived. Once we got started, the make-up artist was very nice and knowledgeable. I let her know that I was getting married and the shade of make-up that I wanted and she made me look and feel great.

Denise did an excellent job with my make up. It was beautiful, exactly what I wanted, and lasted all night. She was very professional, enthusiastic, caring and flexible in doing what you ask. I love the Mac line and the variety of color they offer.

I choose the personalized service at Nordstoms at Southpoint. It was wonderful to come to my appointment and have dresses already picked out for me and my daughter. I love my dress and the value was amazing. My dress is non-traditional and finding exactly what I wanted was my consultants desire.

I saw my dress on their website and knew it was the one for me. I initially went to the store to see if they had it there to try on, but they don't carry wedding dresses on a normal basis. The saleslady I worked with was more than willing to help me find the dress online and order it from the store. It was shipped directly to me in a reasonable amount of time. And if the dress hadn't fit or I didn't like it, I could have easily exchanged it or returned it, no questions asked. I did not have alterations done through Nordstrom, so I can't comment on that. Overall, Nordstrom was great!

I had a very private ceremony and didn't not want a traditional dress but still something "Bridal". 3 weeks til the wedding I decided I was not happy with a dress I had bought off the rack -- at least not for my wedding. I ordered 4 dresses from Nordstrom.com (1 in 2 different sizes). Tried them all on and returned the 3 I didn't like. No problems. I had a beautiful dress that fit like a glove for less than $500.

Can I just say that nordstrom sales people are the best?? Wow! The sales person pulled like 10 dresses for me and found some accessories for the dresses I liked the best. And I went to the shoe department and the sales person brought out like 20 shoes... I asked for five, and then he brought out a ton more that he thought I might like. AWESOME!

Bought my dress online. Could not stomach David's Bridal. Also, bridesmaids wore whatever they wanted in black. Most of them wore dresses they already had. Excellent return policy and experience.

Nordstrom is known for its customer service, and they didn't fail here. When I was searching for a dress, I wanted something simple and sleek. I'm not a 21 year old with a princess complex - the idea was more "40s movie star" than "poufy cupcake dress". Norstrom's online wedding shop had just what I needed. The original price for my simple ABS gown was about $330, and I purchased it in a 6 and an 8. When the 8 was far too big, Nordstrom was happy to take it back. Then when the gown went on sale for $160 and I decided to get a 4... well, they exchanged it without hassle and refunded the difference. This is a great way to save money on what can be an unnecessarily large expense.

Nordstrom's dress departmant had a great selection of dresses, especially for the simple wedding. The staff was extremely helpful. A little pricey but in comparison to a traditional wedding gown.

There was a prom the same night as my wedding, so they were extremely busy... but they were able to fit me and my 6 bridesmaids in for full makeup. They even had me come in the week before to do a test makeup session which is a MUST! You do not want to decide you hate your makeup and want to start all over the day of your wedding!

Nordstrom was the last place I thought I would find my wedding dress but I was able to find a somewhat form fitting dress that was very unique. The detail was great, and I got a ton of compliments on my dress. They did a great job with the fitting. If you are looking for a form fitting unique dress I would recommend them.

I had to find a dress at the last minute and found “the one” at nordstroms.com. I bought several dresses at one time and had no problem returning the one’s I wasn’t keeping. Their return/exchange policy is awesome and so easy. Highly recommend!

My bridesmaids dresses and shoes all came from Nordstrom....I lived in Walnut Creek, worked in SF and my bridesmaids were all over from NYC, Texas, LA and beyond. The gals at Nordie's were there to help locate dresses, alter and make sure everything was perfect....and they all looked amazing!

I didn’t really find anything I wanted at the traditional bridal shops, and when I was in Nordstrom’s with my mom looking for a mother of the bride dress, we accidentally found what turned out to be my wedding dress. It was so beautiful and so perfect! I bought it right off the rack. What a happy accident! The people at Nordstrom’s fuss over you so much – even if you are only buying a simple pair of pantyhose.

Top Notch makeup artist. I shopped around and she is fantastic. Christina works at the Mac Counter. She will come to you and also do a trial. Well worth it!

I was able to get my wedding dress for $130 and my bridesmaids for about $125. They were shipped in less than a week. I had no problems taking back and exchanging one dress! I was also able to get the shoes for myself and the girls for less than $50 each.

I also found my dress online, but I was the anti-wedding store bride. I saw this dress online and it was just the right combo od sexy and elegant. I had to order one size to big and it was indeed one size to big when it arrived. I kept checking online and the right size eventually popped up. My dad too the first one back and they returned it no questions asked. It was one of my easiest purchases!

We got our bridesmaid dresses here and had a great experience. A few girls had to have minor alterations and since the dresses were purchased at full price having the hemlines altered was free!
