We do not have enough good things to say about Donald Norris and his team. He is so much more than a photographer - he is an incredibly talented artist and a professional. He has such an understanding of light and an eye for backgrounds and poses that look great on film. Don is also just so much fun to work with! We had such a good time at our downtown Los Angeles engagement shoot. He has great knowledge of different areas and backgrounds in the city. One of the things that we appreciated most was that Don completely understood what vibe we were going for and steered us towards downtown. He understood that we would have been much more limited at other locations we suggested and it would not have been nearly as intimate. By the end of the shoot, we knew that we could completely trust Don to listen to what we wanted and give us the best way to make it happen. At the wedding, Don and his assistant were in top form. They were both so great at putting everyone at ease. I can't count the number of guests that made a comment about how nice/professional Don and his assistant are. Don also provided a great photo booth at the wedding. Instead of print outs, all of the photos are immediately (and I mean THAT NIGHT) posted to facebook. We had such a good time looking through them the next morning and reliving the night and seeing how much fun our guests were having. We got so much positive feedback from our guests, who were tagging each other and commenting on the photos for weeks. When we got our professional photos back, there were so many that we loved it was next to impossible to narrow them down! After weeks of trying, we finally got it down to 75, which we submitted to Don's lovely fiancee (who is also his talented graphic designer) to create our book. In short, I would 1000 percent recommend Don as a wedding photographer. It was the one thing that we get to take with us and keep always, and I'm very thankful that we entrusted Don to capture our most precious day.

Wow, this guy is fantastic! It seems like just about anyone can take a pretty picture these days but Don's work is truly ART! He came highly recommended by our wedding coordinator and when we compared the work on his website to other photographers, there was no contest. He creates stunning photos with an edgy, creative flair....truly beautiful! Don was very flexible about how, where and when to do our engagement shoot. He made us very relaxed for the shoot and we had such a wonderful time together! My groom and I had been nervous about how we would do for the shoot because we are a bit reserved about PDA but our pictures look like a total, gorgeous lovefest! Also, Don was so much fun to work with at the wedding and really went with the flow! We told him that we wanted to enjoy our ceremony and reception, and didn't want to worry about posing all of the time. He honored our request and was unobtrusive, while still getting everything we wanted and more. Our guests raved about him! Oh - and we got a photobooth from Don...not the old school kind but one that puts the pics online the next day. The guests LOVED it!!! The pictures are hilarious and beautiful. It really kept the party going long after the ceremony was over. Overall, Don was fabulous and his work is genius. I would use him again and again for any event!

We just came home from seeing our wedding photos and to say we are overwhelmed with happiness is an understatement. We knew photography was one area of our wedding that was critically important to us, and selecting a photographer was difficult because everyone puts out their best work for the consult. We chose Don because he was very easy to work with and seemed to really listen to what we told him about our wedding, our families and our wedding party. The day of the wedding he was a consummate professional, completely unintrusive but seemed to be everywhere we were, taking photos and capturing moments. We never had to send our coordinator to track him down because he somehow knew where to be and when to be there at all times. Many of our guests commented on Don's friendliness and good energy! But, we knew the real test would be the wedding photos themselves. And they are amazing (I know that word is overused but it is really true). We cried all over again when we saw them - his photos are little works of art. We can't say enough good things about him and would hire him again in a minute.

Donald Norris has a beautiful style - he was able to capture every moment somehow as if there was more than one of him - He is very personable and makes sure you are comfortable and having fun which comes across in the pictures. We are more than thrilled with our picture!!! His pricing is very reasonable compared to many of the other photographers we look at. You will not be disappointed if you hire Don :)

Don was great! You can definitely find a photographer for cheaper, but this is not a part of your wedding that you want to skimp out on. He made us feel comfortable and had fun with us. We had our engagement session and wedding done with him. During the wedding it seemed like every time we turned around he was there taking pictures. Highly recommended

Don was great. He worked the rehearsal dinner and the wedding. He spent a lot of time with us and was very animated. I would definitely recommend Don to anyone looking for a photographer.

Don is an incredible photographer. He met us multiple times before the wedding to find out exactly what we wanted. On the day of, he was a pleasure to be around. He kept both of our families at ease and captured the true spirit of our day, not just the typical "stock photo" shots. And we got all of our prints within a month of our wedding! The photos were gorgeous, and Don even made us a DVD slide show to share with family and friends. He is definitely number one in my book.
