Northfield Ballroom

I liked this reception venue because it was able to hold 300 guests comfortably. We signed a contract a year beforehand. George said the only thing that might change in pricing would be the food going up 25 cents per plate. It did, but he also changed the pricing on unlimited pop as well. We didn't argue this, as we don't like to argue. George also continually pushed us to buy alcohol for our guests. We don't drink and told him that our parents would be contacting him about any alcohol they would be purchasing. After our parents didn't call, he kept calling me and asking about how much alcohol we wanted to purchase. This upset us until I called the parents and got an order for him. I would have had a "dry" reception had I known he would pester us that much. But the food was good and everyone had a great time. The servers and bartenders were very nice and helpful also.

WOW!! My aunt had her reception here years ago and now I had the opportunity to have my reception here. The food was great the servers were great and George was great. I had a ton of questions throughout the 1 1/2 years before the reception. He was always there to answer questions and give a little advice if I wanted it. I pretty much had in my mind what I wanted my whole life and it was better then ever dreamed!! I would not have changed a thing!!! The food was cheap compared to anything else around here!! HUGE HUGE Venue!! The only thing I had done and I would suggest anyone else having their reception there was I had it professional draped!! It was BEAUTIFUL!!

A huge room made completely of hardwood floors (providing amazing space for a huge dance floor). Not beautiful upon first glance, but a lot of flexibility to decorate & pretty it up. Prices were amazing (plates of food starting around $11) & the food was so good - we're still getting compliments.

No website and contact person is a little tough to get a hold of, but overall a great value! Watch for hidden costs (cloth napkins, etc).
