Our invitations came out great and everyone loved them. The only reason they get this grade is because they took a very long time to send them... months after I ordered did someone get intouch with me about approving a proof, only after I e-mailed several times. The mailing date was also delayed because they were gonna be "out of the office". I had to reorder reception cards because my location changed names in the middle of my planning and the other ones they sent me were different, the writing was bolded, after complaining that they did not look the same she said that nothing would print exactly the same. No one noticed but us, but it still bothered me.
The ladies at Not from a Box created an artful invitation that is custom quality without the custom price. Their method is awesome with all of the different styles and designs to choose from - sort of mix and match. It's overwhelming at first when you see all the choices, but they are also very helpful and give you suggestions and are just delightful to work with! They are very responsive, getting back to you quickly with answers to questions, recommendations for designs and final proofs. Everyone commented and loved the invitations. And Not From A Box does so much more - name cards, programs, menus, etc. I'm so lucky to have found them!
We loved our invites. They coordinated so beautifully with our wedding colors – pinks, reds, and whites, and they made matching Thank You notes, and place cards also! We received many compliments on our invitations, and the girls at www.notfromabox.com were great to work with. They sent me many online proofs until I was satisfied with the results. Quality card stock. Shipped promptly, just as they promised. Highly recommended.
I would highly recommend Not From A Box. I could not be happier with the invitations. Britta and Amy helped with some creative ideas and were very responsive. After I picked up the invitations, I ordered cardstock that matched the invitations. To my surprise, they gave me the cardstock for FREE!!! What a nice gesture!

I really loved our beautiful invitations! They were beautiful and so hard to decide which ones to order from their abundant only variety. Their prices were also great.
We got our save-the-dates, invitations, placecards, menus and programs from them and they are wonderful! I loved working with Amy and Brita. They were so patient with me while I kept changing and revising designs and wording until I was 100% happy. They are really creative and helpful and it’s really a bargain for what you get. I will definitely be ordering all of my paper needs from them in the future.
I have worked with Amy, on literally, hundreds of invitations. I trust her knowledge, and she gets my design aesthetic entirely!! I couldn't do what i do without Not from A Box!!

Real Wedding: Coral & Neil, September 2009
We had so much fun designing “upscale tropical” invitations and accessories for this beautiful wedding. This event was also particularly special to me for several reasons. First, Neil and Coral got married on my birthday. Second, I was able to indulge in one of my absolute favorite pasttimes…collecting seashells. We used real scallop seashells on their table number cards and “Mr.” and “Mrs.” chair hangtags. I couldn’t bring myself to go to a store and buy the seashells, as my step-mother (a longtime beach resident) reminded me, “That’s cheating.” So, my family and I spent several sun-soaked days at the beach collecting the perfect seashells for their cards.
And third, I absolutely LOVED their cake!

Real Wedding: Mary & Gilberto 04.17.09
File this under ‘better late than never’
This beautiful wedding took place at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Brooklyn, New York. The reception was held at Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, New York. Mary’s bi-lingual pocket invitations were in chocolate brown, fairway green and ivory. We also designed matching escort cards and favor tags.
