Megan is a cake genius! She took my inspiration photos and created two cakes (the wedding cake and a grooms cake) that were beyond my highest expectations! I picked Nutmeg & Co after going to a ton of bakeries because her cake tasted the best BY FAR. She drew up sketches of my cakes to make sure we were on the same pages, and the real cakes looked even better than the sketches!

She delivered the cakes right on time, and worked with my florist to do the flowers on top of our wedding cake. She even provided packaging to save the top tier in! LOVE LOVE LOVE Nutmeg & Co!

Megan's cakes taste amazing, look amazing, and are (in my opinion) very reasonably priced! I'm so glad we found Nutmeg & Co!

Megan is amazing! My husband and I love sweets and were immediately drawn to all of her flavors. He wanted a very "different" groom's cake. We met with a bakery much more local to us, and they just didn't "get" what we were looking for. After emailing Megan, we set up a tasting and she started coming up with ideas of her own for the cake. She is incredibly responsive via email and answered my question about a possible cake stand crisis at midnight on a Saturday night two weeks before the wedding! My husband had huge expectations for his cake, and Megan's work exceeded them. It really was the hit of the wedding! The flavors were so good, we had a different one on each tier of our wedding cake. Megan is flexible and listens to her clients' ideas in order to give them exactly what they have in mind. She is definitely going to be our go-to for all of our cake occasions from here on out!

Words cannot describe my reaction upon seeing our actual wedding cake and groom's cake for the first time! Megan did an AMAZING job on both! I knew the cakes were going to be great after seeing her sketches, but in person was another story. Everyone "oohed and aahed" over the cakes and they turned out exactly as we imagined them. Thank you, Megan!!!

Megan's service was above and beyond. She was very accommodating in helping me pick a flavor of cake (the carrot cake is DELICIOUS). I've received many compliments on how pretty the cake was as well!

Megan is not only a great baker she is also very responsive to your needs as a bride. I had her make cupcakes and a small cake for us. She even delivered and set everything up. The cupcake tower was awesome and everything was PERFECT. I got so many compliments on the cupcakes all night long. They were absolutely delicious! She was a pleasure to work with also, very easygoing and flexible. I had my wedding in Tomball and live in Austin and it was so helpful and easy to communicate with her via email. I LOVED the cake and cupcakes and recommend her services to any bride in the Houston area.

Megan is amazing! Her cakes are out of this world. They taste amazing, look amazing and will blow you out of the water. In fact, she's become our go-to baker for EVERY occasion in my family. Her work is gorgeous and her prices are so fair. We got so much more than our money's worth with Megan. My only fear is that everybody will discover her!

Like most engaged couples, we were trying to stay within a certain budget; however, after many meetings and tastings with 5 or 6 other bakeries, we simply couldn't find what we required: great tasting, high quality ingredients, with artistic flare and perfection in execution of design...until Nutmeg & Co. Brides, look no further. From the impeccable presentation of the samples at your tasting to the absolutely divine flavor and texture of the cakes, you'll know you're in the right place!

But that's just the beginning. In addition to being the best-tasting cakes we tried, we were pleased to see that her skill-level in decorating is truly "best of the best." Having attended art school in New York, I was looking at every intricate detail: the crisp corners and flawless finishes. I was so impressed by Meg's work - she is a true artist! Needless to say, my fiance and I agreed that getting exactly what we wanted was well worth the price paid, and we got just that - exactly what we wanted!

I designed my own cake, utilizing the exact fresh black baccara and forever young roses in my bouquet. To see the finished product - my dream cake come to life - was an incredible experience. They say that the cake's importance for the bride is second only to her dress. For me, this was just as important as my dress, and Meg exceeded my expectations in every way. The cake was GORGEOUS and, of course, incredibly delicious! My husband's groomscake was also beautiful and a big hit with the chocolate lovers. In fact, we just got back from our honeymoon, and everyone is STILL talking about the cakes!

We feel so fortunate to have found Nutmeg & Co. - we predict that some Food Network exec will find her and give her an "amazing cake" tv show, but until then, we hope to use her again for our future special event cakes. Thank you Meg!

We met Megan a total of twice(I met her once) because we had doubts about our original vendor and changed to her last minute. Initially I thought she was a bit high in price but then when the total came out, I was extremely relieved. She doesn't try to push unnecessary amounts of cake servings and in fact kept me from really overdoing it!

My wife's cake was 5 tiers(no dummy tier) and mine consisted of 4/5 separate cakes(with fondant) and we still stayed under our low budget.

When it came time to see what had been accomplished out of two meetings I was blown away. My groom's cake was the exactly like the pictures I had sent..the only difference was my pictures were real life examples and not other artists cakes. She had turned my real life picture into exactly what I wanted. Huge hit at the reception. From the quick taste I got, it was amazing. People had great things to say about it.

My mother in law took the leftovers to a family gathering that night and the next morning and demolished all but our top layer!

Megan was very accommodating with the tight schedule we for meeting. She was able to work in a tasting and a design meeting in a very short time all while being very gracious about it. The cakes were absolutely gorgeous and looked like they came out of a magazine! Megan drew beautiful sketches of the cakes we wanted and the actual cakes were even more beautiful. Both cakes (wedding & grooms cake) tasted just as delicious as they looked. I would highly recommend her to everyone. I have three other sisters and they have already decided they will be using Nutmeg when they get married. Nearly every guest commented on the cake and a good many have contacted me asking me who we used! Get in line for Nutmeg as they are definitely artists of their craft as well as master bakers!

Megan at Nutmeg & Co was my absolute favorite vendor to work with. Not only did she make gorgeous and delicious cakes, but she even helped me look for napkins online. She went above and beyond to help me with any and everything I asked for. I definitely recommend her!!

We ordered three cakes for our wedding from Nutmeg & Co. and were VERY pleased with the results. All of the cakes were beautifully designed and exquisitely flavored. The cake tasting consultation was an absolute delight! I can't say enough good things about Megan, too. She drew up three very creative sketches for my bride's cake. I'm glad I gave her the go-ahead to use her creative vision on the design. She was also very accommodating with suggestions I had on making the cake truly unique. She even helped me find ideas for the perfect cake topper, how cool is that? Do yourself a favor and let Nutmeg & Co. design the perfect cake for your special day. The cake was probably the most important thing to me (even moreso than a dress!), and they truly made a great impression with their work.

Nutmeg and Co did an AWESOME job on our wedding cake. Megan would always response to my emails and/or phone calls in a very timely manner. The cake looked just like I wanted it to and every one at the wedding said that it tasted GREAT!!! It was so easy to deal with this company - which is very important during the stress of planning a wedding. I would recommend to my family and friends and in fact I will be using Nutmeg for my friend's baby shower cake!

Megan made our wedding cake as well as individual banana puddings in place of a groom's cake. They were both spectacular! The wedding cake was beautiful as well as tasty, and the banana puddings were just what my husband wanted. She was very accommodating to our every desire, even when we went back and forth on design several times. We will use her for all of our sugar-related needs in the future!

Amazing...we met with several wedding cake designers/bakeries, and were so pleased with Megan at Nutmeg & Co. I described my wedding dress, colors, ideas to her, and she designed a gorgeous cake. It was absolutely amazing, and tasted fabulous. :) The best part was the price. She charged us half of what other bakeries wanted for the most basic of their cakes! I would highly recommend Nutmeg & Co. to anyone!
