Oakmont Country Club

This was the perfect location to have my traditional Nigerian wedding. The staff was very flexible and helped me and aunts throughout. Autumn was very friendly and really helped take a lot of the stress away!! She's was wonderful! Tony was very attentive to all our needs the day of the traditional Nigerian wedding. It was perfect!

Oakmont went above and beyond my expectations when it came to service and details! Many of my guests commented on how attentive and reactive the staff was. Autumn Sadler, the event coordinator, was always right there to take care of my every need, before I even asked her too! The food was great and was displayed beautifully. The bartendar poured great drinks at a rapid pace (bc at my wedding, the line was always long!). Everyone had a wonderful time. Oakmont definately exceeded my expectations and gave me a worry free wedding!

Katie (the events coordinator) was awesome to work with. She was very quick to answer emails and always very professional. She was very well organized and help my wedding day go off perfectly. The ballroom was great for the reception and the ceremony was perfect out on the golf course. It could not have been any better!

Out of all the vendors we worked with, Oakmont was probably the BEST! I would absolutely recommend this as a reception site to ANYONE. Katie Finch was a pleasure to work with - she ensured that everything went smoothly from day one, and helped me figure out SO many things I had questions about. She was VERY responsive - I always had a reply back from her by e-mail within one or two days or by that evening if by phone. The waitstaff were all wonderful! We had mentioned in passing that it was a shame we would probably miss out on the hors d'eouvres, so the staff made us a plate and had it waiting at our table :) I can't say enough good things about this place!

Oakmont is great! I'm having my ceremony and reception here. Katie, their event coordinator, is fantastic. The reception room is very nice and the deck/patio is going to be great for our cocktail reception. Very good venue for the money.

Originally we dealt with Alexis when we booked Oakmont for our wedding reception. She was very kind and accomodating and answered all of our questions. Recently, she left Oakmont and Katie Finch took over her job. I cannot say enough good things about Katie. She was just as kind and accomodating as Alexis and even friendlier! She is the sweetest person and totally put me at ease during the whole process of planning our reception. She met with us several times and was very good at responding promptly to our emails and calls. The reception was like a dream for me--everything was perfect. We got there late because of pictures, but Katie and the rest of the staff was right there ushering everyone over the photo guest book,etc. The room was set up beautifully and I had entrusted a lot of the work to Katie. She contacted the florist and cake people for me and arranged drop off times. She also sent me several floor plans and suggested ways to fit everybody in so that I could make my seating charts. It is a beautiful location and the list of suggested vendors they give is great--that's where we found our DJ and our florist and cake people. Kudos to Katie and all of the Oakmont staff on a beautiful, fun and memorable reception.

Oakmont was a beautiful setting with the mountains and the wonderful Oak trees all around. The food was fantastic! The service was great and everything ran on time. We received so many complements on our chose of the hall, that it made you feel good.

Absolutely wonderful. I would use again, and recommend with no reservations.

Grade: A+. Oakmont was not going to be getting an A from me during the planning, because honestly it was a bit like pulling teeth sometimes to get them to respond back to my emails. Yes, I was a bit ahead of the game and overly-anxious at times, but still...once you have a client's money you need to respond to him/her in a timely manner, even if the wedding is six months away. However, with that being said, I am DONE complaining about Oakmont. In the last couple of weeks and up until we left the reception that night, everything was done perfectly. I had to go the morning of the wedding to check a couple of things, and the room was already set up. It looked so beautiful, and the staff RAVED over our color scheme/theme, our favors, etc. Of course as a stressed out bride, that was great validation for me! The wedding reception was great. I never noticed even the tiniest glitch(es), if any even existed. The room was beautiful, the food was delicious (so I heard), and the staff was great. Two of the waitstaff even did the Cha-Cha Slide with us and our guests!! Highly recommend this vendor.

The Oakmont Country Club had outstanding service, great menu choices, the view and space of the ballroom is perfect for about 200 guests. Alexis, the coordinator, is always willing to help make your wedding dreams come true. Best of all--amazing prices for a nice venue.

We found the service and support at Oakmont wonderful, especially as it came down to the big day. Despite some communications issues (which may have been due to change in staff) they were able to accommodate everything we dreamed up. And towards the end when we started having to ask others to fill in where we didn't have the time they did a great job. Thanks guys!

Wonderful staff, very reasonable, we had an issue and they worked with us to fix the problem immediately and to our satisfaction. They were wonderful.
