You will look beautiful on your wedding day; your gown and decorations will be perfectly crafted and adjusted to fit your exact dream and vision.  The food will be delicious and the dj will keep your guest partying late into the night.  And after its all done and the last of your honeymoon tan has faded, you and your new husband will settle down with your photo album and try to remember exactly what it felt like on your special day.  And that's where we come in.

Obscura Photoworks offers more than just photography.  We offer a fully tailored photographic documentation of the emotions and feelings of your big day.  We start by offering every bride and groom a complementary engagement session before your wedding, so that the photographer can truly get to know and understand your unique personalities.  This can be as informal as walking the town and taking pictures, to directed styled shoots, to utilizing a vintage large-format camera and helping you take classic portraits of each other with turn-of-the-century technology.  We make it fun so you can really let loose and be yourself.  We can brainstorm funky and fresh ideas before so that your engagement photos are the talk of the town.

And then the fun really begins.  We will work specifically with you and your planner to fully embrace the theme of your wedding.  We consider our work to be more than just documenting the event.  We infuse all of our work with an eye and attention to the fine art craft of photography.  This means that we strive to present not just unique photography, but beautifully crafted art.  We also fully understand that you are unique and quirky in your own way and strive to capture that edge, that quirkiness beautifully.  Every other aspect of your wedding is going to be unique.  Why not unique art to remember it by?

But that's not all.  We mentioned our appreciation for vintage cameras and we mean it.  We also have a vintage reproduction photobooth that really gets the party started.  Nothing brings out the laughs at a party quite like the classic photobooth experience.  And in keeping with our love of the unique and quirky, this photobooth is just like the old vintage booths, complete with little red curtains and swivel stool.   It is sure to fit any decor beautifully and make for great memories.
