OC tan 2 u is the best! I have gotten spray tans before that left my skin smelly and orange, not my tan from oc tan 2 u! These girls give you the most natural looking tan, all my friends could not believe it was really a spray tan, now I have them all going to oc tan 2 u too! They were extremely professional and knowledgeable. I could not believe how natural my results were, I will recommending them to everyone I know. It's all about the spray tan solution! The solution OC Tan 2 U uses is not just another watered
down solution from a distributor, a chemist has specially designed a unique spray
tan solution just for us. Our solution is exclusive to OC Tan 2 U and our affiliates. Our solution unlike most spray tan solutions works with the chemistry in your own skin so that you get a perfect color match every time! Also our spray tans are not smelly! They smell like coconut! Spray tan booths are one size fits all. By having a technician personally spray you, you are guaranteed to have optimal results and a custom tan. The other big difference is OC Tan 2 U comes to you. No spending money on gas or a babysitter!
How do I prepare for my tan?
Please shower, exfoliate, and shave prior to your appointment. Make sure the skin is
clean of deodorant, makeup, and/or moisturizer. When you use an exfoliating body scrub,
choose an oil-free product. We recommend OC Tan 2 U’s Prepare Me Sugar Scrub (you can find it on the shop products link or by requesting it at the time of your appointment). Exfoliating prepares the skin for a spray tan and ensures optimal results.
How does spray tanning work?
The body is sprayed with a gentle spray mist using a UV free sunless tanning solution. The active ingredient in the solution is a colorless sugar which has been FDA approved for more than 30 years. This special formula works by interacting with the natural amino acids in the surface cells found in the otter most layer of the skin. This naturally produces a color change and darkens the skin (NO ORANGE). As the skin cells gradually wear off the color slowly fades, just like a UV sun tan but without the harmful effects of the sun.
How do I care for my tan?
After tanning, wear dark loose fitting clothing for at least 4 hours and no sweating or showering for 8-10 hours. When you shower, use a moisturizing body wash to keep the skin moist. Be careful some soaps and shower gels can alter the spray tan color. OC Tan 2 U carries a Moisturizing Bath and Shower Gel that ensures your skin will keep true color, just go to the shop products link or request it from your technician at the time of your appointment. Avoid hard scrubbing. Moisturizing is extremely important, the more moisturized your skin is, the longer your tan will last. When choosing a lotion choose one that does not contain mineral oil and one that is not oil based. OC Tan 2 U carries a Tan Extender that is perfect for moisturizing the skin and extending the life of your spray tan. Will the spray tan stain my clothes?
No. Some of the top bronzer may rub off on your clothes (this is normal and will not effect your tan) prior to your first shower. Our solution is all natural and comes out of clothes in the wash.
How long will my tan last?
It takes 2-4 hours for skin coloration to start taking place (full development time is 8-10 hours) and it will last 7-10 days depending on how you care for it. Skin naturally replaces itself every 28 days, so with any type of tan, it will fade if not cared for properly. Healthy, moist skin will retain a tan better then dry skin. Try OC Tan 2 U’s Tan Extender to keep skin moist!
What do I wear during the session?
Women wear anything from swimsuits to nothing at all. It's up to you and your comfort level. Men are required to wear boxers, swim trunks, or shorts.
What if I have fair (pale) skin?
Our solution is designed to work with the chemistry of your own skin. No matter how light skinned you are, you will have a deep natural looking tan in only 1 session!
How long does it take?
Upon arrival to your home or preferred place to be tanned, the process will only take about 15-30 min. 5-10 minutes to set up. The spray process takes about 5 minutes, then another 5-10 minutes to pack up and answer any more questions.
Is spray tanning safe?
YES! It is dermatologist recommended and 100% safe for your skin! The active ingredient in our solution is DHA (a colorless sugar). DHA has been approved by the FDA for more than 30 years. Spray Tanning is a perfect alternative from sun/lamp tanning because you get a beautiful tan without the harmful effects from the UV rays. Our solution also includes Anti-Aging and skin rejuvenation nutrients which is great for fine lines and wrinkles.
