Tonya was recommended by a friend and she was fantastic to deal with- creating gorgeous bouquets and centerpieces with just a few weeks notice and well within our budget. I found her to be creative, helpful, and incredibly knowledgeable- offering suggestions and advice throughout the process. She transformed our neighborhood bar and it looked fantastic. I highly recommend Tonya and Occasional Flowers whether your event is formal or casual she is up to the task.

Tonya did a beautiful job for three weddings in my family - my two sisters, and mine. We each had our own looks and Tonya did them all great. I was not very picky and just told her to go with it because I knew she had it under control. What she came up with was perfect and I couldn't have asked for more. She was flexible and helpful in working with my schedule. She loves working with flowers and it shows.

Tonya is a dream! Her work is beautiful and of the highest quality. Many of my guests raved about the flowers, and were delighted to take home centerpieces at the end of the night. Everything from the centerpieces to my bouquet to the corsages was exactly as I had specified and as I had wished for. Occasional flowers is affordable, and Tonya works with you to make the most of your budget--she really respects the budget! Everything was delivered on time, fresh and beautiful, with no hassles. Occasional Flowers provided so much at an unbelievable cost we're still counting ourselves lucky we heard about them. We met with Tonya with very little in mind as to what we wanted. She asked all the right questions and presented so many options, we easily narrowed down what would work for us within 30 minutes of meeting her. We explained our budget was tight and she never flinched - just offered beautiful options that would fit our budget. When our quote arrived, we were shocked. In fact, we assumed we would have to just hope for the best at that price. We got the best. We were overwhelmed with how everything turned out. Many of our guests made comments on how stunning our centerpieces looked. Tonya even added additional greenery to the pieces after asking if she could take some license
with the original plan if she felt it necessary - and didn't charge us. This made the pieces look even more exceptional. She was flexible with our budget, our ideas, and our suggestions; professional throughout; responsive and eager to please; and over-delivered on our meager budget. I was really impressed with Tonya and Occasional Flowers. Out of the three florists I interviewed, Tonya was the only one who respected our budget. She created absolutely gorgeous flower arrangements for our wedding. I couldn't believe how well she captured what I had requested. I would highly recommend Tonya. She is great at what she does, she knows flowers, and she knows what will look good and work the best for certain situations. She does help make changes if you have a budget. The flowers were beautiful, fresh, perfectly arranged. She was responsive through email through the whole process and kept me up to date. She was punctual and I never had to worry about the quality of my flowers through the whole process. Everything was perfect and I couldnt be happier with my choice!

As a wedding planner, Tonya at Occasional Flowers was one of the first calls I made after getting engaged myself. She has a fantastic eye for flowers and excels at creating unique arrangements that guests will remember. Her rates are more affordable than most florists around, often because you can rent her vases and columns instead of purchasing them like many florists. She worked within our small budget and was happy to use our vintage vases and ribbon that we had found. She is happy to work within your budget to make beautiful arrangements....instead of trying to upsell you or give you sub-par arrangements. Tonya is fantastic to work with and doesn't have the overhead costs of many larger flower shops. I highly recommend her!

Tonya was great. She was able to work with my tiny budget and provided beautiful flowers. She took the photos I had collected and created bouquets and bouts that were exactly what I wanted, even though I didn't know what that was. She delivered the flowers to the hotel where we were getting ready so that she could add my father's wedding band to my bouquet. The bouquets were in vases and the bouts were on ice so that they stayed nice and fresh.

Tonya was an absolute pleasure to work with. I was stumpped on ideas for flowers for a January Wedding and she patiently sat with me and my Mom as we looked through her photos and pondered ideas. She worked well within our budget, her suggestions were PERFECT, and her experience really shows. The flowers for our big day were amazing.

Absolutely wonderful!!!! Tonya is gifted with her designs and arrangements. It was breathtaking walking in to see our reception room transformed. She worked with us and came up with 3 unique designs. After meeting with her we decided to upgrade (our idea not hers) and it was worth it. We also ended up with 50 additional guests so our end cost was of course a little more. All of the flowers were fresh and 5 days later still look pristine. Delivery to our site was on time and set up was very efficient. Guest comments were WOW!!! with many of them remarking they had never seen Airlie (our site) look so good.
She is great and I will definitely use her again for other occasions.

Occasional Flowers is a small business run by Tonya Evans. She provided the bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres for my wedding, and she did an incredible job! The flowers were even more beautiful than I had expected. I got a lot for my money. Tonya was wonderful to work with as well. She was very nice, professional, and dependable.

Tonya at Occasional Flowers was so professional, and her floral designs were exactly what I wanted. She helped me work within my budget, and I was so happy with the way everything came out. They were simple, but elegant, and exactly what I had imagined. Her delivery was very prompt, as was her pickup, and I would absolutely reccommend her to any bride - you will be thrilled working with her! I had no idea what I wanted when we started planning, and she walked me through the selection and I couldn't have been happier with the results!!!

What impressed me most about Tonya is that she REALLY listens. After we met and she forwarded her proposal for our wedding flowers, I was amazed. She captured everything thing I imagined on paper, precisely! Proposals that I received from other florists were no where near as close to my vision (and I gave them the exact same description of what I wanted).

When I needed to cut my floral budget a little, Tonya worked with me, making suggestions that worked perfectly but did not compromise our wedding style. In the end our flowers were absolutely beautiful and we got several compliments from wedding guests. Tonya is truly an artist who is professional, flexible and provides great service. With Tonya, I was able to spend no more than I wanted to spend for beautiful flowers. I wanted orchids and calla lilies, which are not cheap, and she was able to come up with some beautiful arrangements within my budget. And five days before the wedding, I contacted her to see if she could do 3 arrangements for my rehearsal dinner, and not only was she able to do them and deliver them, but they were exactly what I wanted.

Tanya, with Occasional Flowers, was wonderful! She quickly grasped the vision we had for the look and feel of our wedding, and provided everything we could have wanted. Her designs were beautiful and flowers were exquisite! She was also an incredible value. Her prices were more than reasonable and I didn't feel like I had to compromise at all to have exactly what I wanted and still stay within my budget.

Tonya at Occasional Flowers was my favorite. She's prompt, professional, and easy to work with. I had a strict budget and changed my mind about a lot of things at the end--she was always glad to help, and was more than flexible. When my budget couldn't accomodate peonies, she made a special surprise centerpiece for our table with peonies in it. Our flowers were perfect and fresh. She's fantastic, and affordable.

Tonya Evans came highly recommend by a close friend who also used Occasional Flowers as her wedding florist. Tonya was very receptive to my requests and ideas and developed a floral package that allowed me to stay within my budget. Although I wish I had selected groomsmen bouonnieres that were a little more substantial, I was more than pleased with the floral arrangements on my wedding cake - they were stunning! We also received several compliments on our reception centerpieces where Tonya used fresh limes to line vases of pink gerber daisies. Tonya was great to work with and did a beautiful job with my wedding flowers. She drove out of her way to meet with me and give me a lot of ideas since I know nothing about flowers! She was SO much more affordable than anyone else I talked to and the flowers were the perfect style for our modern wedding. The flowers were delivered way before the ceremony started and everything down to the boutonnieres were beutiful.

Tonya was easy to deal with and responsive from the beginning. Her prices were very fair. She was open to making last minute changes. The bouquets held up great and lasted all afternoon. They were even still perfect the next afternoon, not even the slighest bit brown (including the white roses).

Tonya was great for my flowers and inexpensive. Although I didn't have a lot since I didn't use them in centerpieces the bouquets and other flowers were great quality. A few of the roses were a little wilted but other than that they were supurb! I also loved that the toss bouquet was complimentary as I wanted to save my actual bouquet. The toss bouquet was beautiful too. Tonya was very accomodating to changes and quickly responded to inquiries. I would highly reccommend her!

Tonya was very easy to work with and her flowers were beautiful! When we first started planning, we had a very limited floral budget, but she was the only florist that proposed using better quality flowers while staying within budget. We were able to expand our floral budget later on, yet she was still mindful to propose attractive designs using seasonal flowers to maximize our budget. We received many compliments on our flowers and are very happy we chose to work with her!

Tonya Evans of Occasional Flowers was delightful to work with while planning the flowers for our wedding. She listens to your input and also makes helpful suggestions to enhance what you have in mind. My bridal bouquet and the table arrangements were all lovely. Our only disappointment were the wrist corsages, most of which fell apart.

The flowers and centerpieces were beautiful-just what I was looking for! Tonya was wiling to work with me last minute and was very clear, prompt, and professional in her interactions with me. The only thing that I would have changed was I wish the flowers had been delivered earlier. They came an hour and a half before the ceremony, but we had started taking pictures a few hours before that & had to do without the flowers. But that was a miscommunication on both our parts! All-in-all, I was very satisfied & would recommend this vendor!

Tonya was one of the first vendors I found. We met at a restaurant and she had pictures of every conceivable flower in the universe. It was really fun looking through them and working with her to pick out what I wanted. As the wedding planning progressed and I began to realize what other things were costing, I had to scale back my flowers. Tonya was wonderful in helping me. I did not ever feel pressure to spend more than I felt I could afford. Tonya was always very attentive and responsive.

The Orange Gerbera Dasies, Carnations & Tropical Amazon Roses were breath taking. On our wedding day, Tonya & Carolyn (our cake lady) magically combined their creativity to display the most beautiful wedding cake I've ever seen. On the front of the gazebo organza fabric sways were attached with 2 striking floral clusters.

The white stephanotis were not as perky as I would have liked. Also when I arrived @ the bridal suite I was impressed that bridal bouquets were in vases throughout the 2 rooms. However, I learned that Tonya had put them all in a bucket of water. It was Jo Anne, our ceremony host, who took the extra step.

I worked with Tonya strictly through email since we live out of the country, and she was able to provide exactly what we wanted. We originally were going to go through a wholesaler because we put the decorations together ourselves, but Tonya actually beat their prices. We had her make bouquets for myself and the bridesmaids and corsages for our grandmothers. They all came out beautifully and just like we had discussed. The fact that she delivered everything to us at the hotel on the day of the wedding was exceptionally helpful. We were very pleased in working with Occasional Flowers.

Tonya provided beautiful flowers for our wedding. Tonya was very accommodating with our changing needs and budget. I couldn't have been happier with the flower arrangements, they were exactly what we orderd! :) At times Tonya wasn't as responsive as I would like. I wouldn't get a response at times for days. Overall, I would recommend her services.

I didn't give Tonya a lot of direction, but she produced beautiful bouquets!

Occasional Flowers provided beautiful flowers for our wedding. Tonya was extremely accommodating with our changing needs and budget and was able to meet both. They were a bit late on the wedding day, but got set up in time. The flowers were simple and beautiful - just what we'd ordered.

I was very happy with our flowers. Tonya was professional to deal with and her proposal for the flowers I wanted blew the others out of the water. We kept the flowers really simple, roses and calla lillies made up the bridal party flowers and boutenniers, and our centrepieces were 3 small vases with either hydrangeas, greem mum's or cream roses in them on each table. And baby's breath in mason jars for the cocktail tables. Everything looked lovely and the bridal party flowers arrived at the hotel right on time and looking exactly as promised. We got to our reception a little early and so happened to see the reception flowers being delivered literally 15 minutes before the reception was due to begin. It all worked out fine and we would never have known if we didn't get there early, but that was cutting it pretty close. Overall I would recommend this vendor, the flowers looked lovely and fresh and were reasonably priced, and we got to send our guests home with the centerpieces which was nice.

At our first meeting with Tanya, she seemed very flexible in terms of our budget and our needs. However we were disappointed with the final product. The bridal bouquet was smaller than we talked about and all of the groomsmen's boutier's fell apart before we even got them on! Afterwards, I let her know about the problem and she blamed it on a poor crop of those type of flowers that year. However, she didn't let us know and didn't give us the opportunity to change the flowers.
