Occasions Chicago

Occasions Chicago catered our wedding just about a year ago. We were special needs clients -- we wanted a reception menu that was entirely vegetarian and mostly vegan. Occasions created a wonderful menu for us that was far and above the usual vegetarian fare served at large functions. The food was inventive (indonedian curried tempeh, coconut tofu with mango & macadamia nut salsa, just to name a few items) delicious, and piping hot. The vegetarians and meat eaters alike complimented us for weeks afterward. There truly was something for everyone to enjoy.

Beyond the food, the service we received from the owners and their staff was unbeatable. They did a wonderful job of coordinating the evening, paid lots of attention to us and our guests, and provided a lot of guidance on things like linen choices, etc.

We tried very hard to support smaller businesses when plunking down so much money on just one day. We are SO glad that we chose Occasions over some of the larger catering companies out there. We felt like our business and our wedding really mattered to Occasions. It was great to feel like we weren't just one of 50 clients they had that weekend.
