Sal was great right from the start! We had asked Sal if he would be Justice of the Peace at our wedding a few months prior to the wedding date. He had gotten back to me and said he would do it even though Sal had 2 other weddings to do that day already. Luckily my wedding was right in the middle of the other two and it worked out perfectly! He did an excellent job writing the ceremony, putting everything together, coordinating the entire event. Sal personalized our ceremony to how we wanted it including honoring our mothers and my brother who had passed away. Sal is very thorough and meets with you at his home to go over everything as well as rehearsal at the venue. He makes sure everything is ready to go and everyone in the wedding party knows what they are supposed to do. We highly reccomend Sal and wouldn't have wanted it another way. We are extremely satisfied with his service!

Sal was a pleasure to work with. We originally had a wedding date of May 26th, but we wanted to move it up to January 14th. We called Sal the week before and he was able to accommodate us! Sal was a wonderful justice of the peace for our wedding right from the start! Once my husband talked to him he knew right away he was the guy for us. He was able to work with our crazy schedule since we live in Virginia but was having the wedding in Connecticut. And he was always there to help us with any questions we may have had about our personal vows to making sure everyone was comfortable during the ceremony. He knows his stuff about weddings with out a doubt any bride would be lucky to have him as their officiant.

Sal was everything we were looking for in a J.P. He made us feel comfortable and got to know us. At the day of the wedding he was constantly checking on us to make sure everything was good and was willing to help out with anything we asked. Everyone that attended our wedding was very impressed with the ceremony and how smoothly everything went. Sal coordinated the rehearsal which was EXTREMELY helpful while being friendly, pleasant, and having a great sense of humor at the same time. Our entire wedding party was impressed with him.

On our wedding day, he instructed my husband on what he needed to do. He met me at the limo when I arrived at the ceremony to give me updates. He was also able to make a last minute announcement to our guests that the highway to our reception was closed due to an accident.

Sal is amazing!
Sal officiated our ceremony on 7.30.11 at the Riverview in Simsbury. From the beginning he was amazing to work with. When my husband and I first met Sal, we spent 2 hours just talking and getting to know each other. He created a ceremony that worked beautifully for our non religious wedding. Sal is a huge fan of personal vows and while I was nervous to do this, I can't thank him enough. It was my favorite part of the ceremony!

We live out of state and had to rely heavily on the internet to help us select all our vendors including our Officiant. After reading all the positive reviews we decided to call Sal to see if everything that we read was true. We were pleasantly surprised to see that it was. Sal is definitely not in this for the money. He really likes what he does and he is good at it. We had a small service and not only did he help us craft the perfect vows, he also helped choreograph the ceremony and the music. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sal to anyone.

My husband and I couldn't have asked for a better Justice of the Peace than Sal! From the first time we met with him in his home, we felt at ease due to his warm personality, his professionalism, and the fact that he places the bride and groom's absolute satisfaction above everything else. Sal officiated our wedding ceremony on 7/2/11 at Wickham Park in Manchester, CT. We had about 80 guests at the ceremony, of various cultures and backgrounds, some who didn't even speak English. And everyone, absolutely everyone - loved the ceremony, especially my husband and I! We received many positive comments about how well the ceremony flowed, it was the perfect length, not too long not too short, how well the JOP spoke, his tone, and most importantly the contents of the ceremony wording. When we first met with Sal about a year ago, he sat down with us for over an hour to go over different options of wording and ceremonies we could include, some we didn't even know existed, like the sand ceremony. He worked with us over the last few months to make sure it was exactly what we wanted and made many valuable suggestions. He also did a great job incorporating my husband's son into our ceremony, which was very important to us. The day of the wedding Sal showed up early, looking sharp in a nice suit, and he walked us through the ceremony again to make sure everyone knew what to do/ when. I must say I could not have asked for a more perfect way to start my marriage. Sal made sure the ceremony was better than I could have imaged. We thank Sal from the bottom of our heart for his time, professionalism, and valuable assistance through this process. You surely made our day special.

Sal was wonderful. He was our officiant for our 6/11 wedding. He was super nice and had many suggestions for our wedding. He offered different ceremony examples for our wedding and samples of vows. Sal was wonderful!! we met with him two times to plan the details of the ceremony. the first time i met him he was amazing. my husband and i brought our 3 year old daughter w/us to meet with sal and sal was awesome with her. that means a lot to us and helped keep my daughter occupied while we were planning our wedding. sal had many awesome suggestions for things to add to our ceremony (such as the sand ceremony and honoring mothers). he also had music suggestions for entrance music and recessional music. sal was always available via email for any questions i had. on wedding day he met with me before hand to go over last minute details which helped me know everything was going to go smoothly. he was extremely professional and so awesome to work with. i highly recommend sal to anyone looking for a wonderful JP!!! all the guests at my wedding also keep talking about how wonderful sal was. :)

Sal did an excellent job all around. He was very honest and upfront throughout the entire process and that meant a lot to us. It was evident from our first meeting that Sal was a detail oriented person and this was a huge help for a couple not knowing exactly what they wanted. I was raised Catholic and my husband was raised Jewish. We knew that we wanted to avoid anything religous as it was not a reflection of who we are as a couple. Sal helped to make our ceremony personal, heartwarming, and concise.

We met with him for an hour, 2 months before the wedding to go over the order and our expectations. Everything we wanted, happened. Sal also helped to organize our rehearsal while working in conjuntion with our the facility's wedding planner.

He is very thorough and listens to what the couple wants with out any judgement.

We had a very small private wedding. Sal really took the time to go over all the details of the ceremony and really helped to personalize it for us. Sal went above and beyond our expectations. We requested his services and he already had a wedding rehersal on the same evening about an hour away from where we were. Without batting an eyelash he did not decline. He made us feel that our event was just as important to him as it was to us. He came highly recommended to us by more than one couple. And we would recommend his services at any opportunity!

If you’re looking for a JP...Sal's the BEST!!! Anything you want to add that may be different or unusually, it's not a problem! He goes through everything with you so there is nothing left unknown! And if you’re not sure, what kind of wording you want, he has tons of examples! We used a bunch of examples he had for wording for our ceremony, I was a little nervous as to how he was going to put everything together; it was great and came together very nicely!!!! Sal was a joy to work with. Our initial consultation was very relaxed and tailored to us. Sal takes the time to get to know you and your expectations. Being that we were trying to celebrate each others faith ( my husband is Jewish and I am Catholic) without letting religion dominate. We were able to honor both through two readings and then we were able to incorpoate our own traditions of a unity candle and wine and love letters. Sal was very attentive throughout the process and we decided to let Sal coordinate our rehersal and he took control of our party which made the day seamless. 

Another concern was that the day of that I would be overly emotional. Sal understood our concerns and tailored a ceremony for us addressing that. He really took our direction that we wanted this to be more about family and friends. 

He was passed on to us through word of mouth and after meeting with four JPs we knew he was the one. 

Thank you for taking control but also listening to us and making our ceremony special. We had many comements of how lovely the ceremonry was and our guests were the ones who were crying and not us.

I actually found Sal via Wedding Wire. When my husband and I went to meet with him for our consultation, we hired him on the spot! He was so thorough and accommodating, making sure that he created the perfect ceremony for us. We had him coordinate our rehearsal and he even went through it with us twice so we were comfortable with the process. On the day of the wedding, I did not have a single worry since Sal was so diligent. He made sure that the best man had the rings and he brought copies of our personal vows. One of the biggest comments we received was how beautiful our service was and it would not have been what it was without Sal!

Normally, a Justice of the Peace is just someone at your wedding, a necessity if your marrying outside of a church, etc. However, Sal was one of the HIGHLIGHTS of our wedding; between spending an incredible amount of time personalizing our ceremony & coming up with unique ideas, he was always available to assist with our many questions. Sal Fiore was our officiant for our wedding ceremony on August 7th, 2010. His personality and service was everything we were hoping for. Throughout the planning of our ceremony we called upon Sal for his resources and advice multiple times. We were fairly specific about how we wanted our ceremony to look, and Sal helped us tweak every detail through emails until it was perfect for us. Sal was the most amazing Justice of the Peace that my husband and I could ever ask for! He was professional, confident, funny, and knew exactly what he was doing! The best part about working with Sal was his ability to customize your own ceremony. He's open and willing to make the ceremony fit the couple- he helped represent who we are as individuals and who we are as a couple. We really loved his idea of a sand ceremony instead of a unity candle. Now we have this gorgeous jar of sand that we created during our wedding day and can cherish it forever. Sal was also a delight to be around. He was able to calm nerves, answer questions, tell stories, and really make our day sparkle! I would recommend Sal to all couples looking for a JP that will make them feel comfortable and give them the time and attention they want to create a perfect ceremony! Sal was fantastic! My husband and I thank him from the bottom of our hearts!

We were looking for a Justice of the Peace when we saw Sal officiate my sister's wedding. He did such a wonderful job that we asked him to perform our ceremony. Sal invited us to his home to meet with us and get a sense of what sort of ceremony we wanted. He sent us a bunch of sample ceremonies and vows to look through that week while we decided what fit us best. I ended up taking portions of two or three of his samples and adding some of my own writing. I wasn't sure at first how he would feel about us writing our own ceremony, but he was very open with us creating something that reflected our personalities. He even repeatedly complimented one section I had written. In terms of responsiveness, Sal always replied to my emails promptly and told us we could continue to email him even when he went on vacation. He did an excellent job on the day of the wedding. Many of our guests sang his praises at the reception. He left a great impression on everyone. I don't think we could have been happier with Sal's services. And not only did he do a fantastic job, he's also just a really nice guy.

Sal was great. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to get married. He is very professional and you could tell that he loves what he does.

Our experience could not have been a better one. Sal was able to offer helpful and meaningful suggestions, but yet respected our wishes and choices. He made sure everything was in order and what we wanted. He offered assistance during the planning stages. To us, the ceremony was what was the most important aspect of the day, and the person performing this service is entrusted with this most important task, and important desires and wishes from both the bride and groom. I just want everyone out there to know that however large or small your wedding is Sal will make it the most memorable day of your life. I and my husband along with our five children got married just before valentines day of 2010. We have both been married before and did not want a huge wedding but a special one. It was very important to us that we had a Christian Cerimony I thought truley that could not be done at a JP,, I was very wrong, Sal honored our values encouraged us to exchange our own vows and we even incorporated a very unique cord of three strands cerimony. Sal walks you through everything, and his heart felt love of what he does shines through him. He makes a very nerve racking day into one of ease and peace.. Sal worked very hard to make sure that everything was planned out for the ceremony. He was also very good at coming up with ideas. Since we needed to plan most of the wedding overseas, Sal was very flexible with answering questions through e-mail and also for communicating with the town clerks office making sure we had the right paperwork. Sal also was willing to speak a sentence in German so that the brides father could understand and he did a great job. I would recommend Sal to anyone.

Sal was a pleasure to work with. He obviously loves what he does and was quick to respond to emails and offer help. He also tailored our ceremony specifically to our needs, and even added a moment of silence for my husbands parents who had passed away several years ago.

I would recommend Sal to everyone I know, I have never see such professionalism, and he put us both at ease with the ceremony I am certain any one who chooses him as an officiant will not be dissapointed.

Sal was absolutely wonderful as an officiant and a friend for our wedding. When we met with him at his house, he took the time to go over the ceremony and understand what we wanted out of our wedding. My husband and I initially were not going to write our own vows, but Sal talked to us about it, even gave us examples of his past couples, and our personal vows ended up being one of the most special parts of the ceremony. Sal was also very interested to personalize our ceremony as much as possible, really listening to our ideas and incorporating them in. I would recommend Sal 100%!! He most certainly was a memorable part of our wedding day!

Unfortuneatly we didn't have the same satisfaction with the company where our ceremony was held but Sal took charge and made sure our ceremony went as planned how WE Wanted it. Kudos to Sal. He made our day. Highly recommended, unfortunately I will not be getting married again so I can no longer use his services, but I can help by referring him down the road.

Sal rocks! My husband and I came up with some very original ideas for our wedding ceremony, including planting a tree. Sal didn't bat an eye and just rolled with every idea we brought to the table. He didn't stress us out by making an overly big deal out of things and never pressured us into making any decisions or having any parts of the ceremony that we weren't comfortable with. Working with Sal was such a pleasure. I was very specific about the type of ceremony that I wanted and he had no problem with basically changing the entire "traditional" ceremony for me. He was also very easy to talk to and to work with. We got many compliments on the how wonderful the ceremony was. I also liked the fact that he was up for anything.
