One Enchanted Evening

My name is Brittany Young soon to be Brittany Roe! I have a very strange bold taste in fashion and finally getting married i was worried about what i was going to wear and how i would find it and if i would love it.. So i searched and searched i went to many places in pittsburgh to find my dream dress needless to say it was awful my head was spining and i was ready to wear anything at this point a friend of mine has a little sister who had butght a prom dress from one enchanted evening and told me they have a beautiful bridal side! I wasnt sure if i could go to one more place my moh and i decided one more shot. As i walked in the door on a busy saturday i was helped right away by a wonderful lady by the name of Angie! She was so happy to meet me and help me find my wedding dress and spent all day with me even being over welmed with all that happened she put me in the best mood to move on and find my dream dress they have many dresses Angie knew what would be perfect for my shape and could tell right away what id love and i ended up buying a beautiful allure dress named cloud as she calls it! i 100% agree with shopping and finding your dream dress with one enchanted eveing!

I purchased my dress from One Enchanted Evening in October of 2012. Because of their flexibility, I was able to make an appointment one day in advanced! All of the staff were helpful, down to earth, and kind. You receive personalized treatment, and never feel pressured into buying something like you might at a more "chain" bridal store. Their dress selection was also fabulous and would fit into any brides budget!! I cannot wait to return to check out their bridesmaids collections!

I just purchased my dress from OEE!! The experience was great for both myself and my family and friends I brought with me. This was the first and ONLY place I tried on dresses and purchased the first one I tried on! My consultant Becky was wonderful, friendly and helpful. She let me browse all the dresses in the store and pick which ones I wanted to try (which I loved!) I bought the dress during a trunk show so I also received a great discount! When I called to make the appointment at late notice they were more than helpful and accommodating. Can't wait to receive me dress and try it on in my size! Happy shopping brides!

Had visited a trunk show at One Enchanted Evening the previous Sunday and even though hectic in the store that day, the consultants were friendly and helpful. I liked that there was nice of selection of gowns and short dresses for Mother of the Groom, and not the typical "mother type dresses".

I decided to make a one on one appointment with a consultant. The experience was wonderful!! The consultant pulled different dresses and kept bringing more dresses for me to try on. After trying on several dresses I narrowed it down to two favorites and the one consultant even took pictures for me to send to my soon to be daughter in law for her thoughts on my choices. I never felt rushed, or that I had to make my decision that evening. Very friendly, upbeat and very helpful place! I highly recommend!

I had an amazing experience buying my bridesmaids' gowns at One Enchanted Evening! The bridal consultants were extremely helpful and friendly, and seemed truly interested in me and helping me find the perfect dresses. One of the consultants even tried on a bridesmaid's dress for me because she was the same body type as one of my absent bridesmaids! Everything came in on time, and their seamstresses are all just as wonderful as the consultants. Everyone there really goes above and beyond to make their customers feel important. I just wish I'd known about OEE before buying my bridal gown!

I had a wonderful experience at One Enchanted Evening while searching for my wedding gown. It was my first appointment among other bridal shops in the Pittsburgh area which I ended up canceling because I ended up falling in love with the second dress I tried on. They have a large selection of dresses of various styles and price ranges. I came accompanied by a mini posse consisting of my mother, my future mother-in-law, my two older sisters, my niece, and my best friend who is a bridesmaid, so there were a lot of cooks in the kitchen. But Annamarie who was assisting me was bright, cheerful, patient, attentive, and very helpful. I had a VERY broad idea of what I wanted for in a wedding dress, which probably was a negative thing because I ended up pulling over 20 dresses off the rack to try on. Annamarie was so patient with me and honest. I ended up falling in love with the second dress I tried on although Annamarie gathered the 20 other dresses in my dressing room. Once I put on "the dress" Annamarie added a beautiful veil with accessories. She made sure I knew and understood the basics of the dress (how it bustled, good ways to arrange the train for photos both sitting and standing, etc), and she instructed me to walk around and practice sitting/standing just so I knew what to it would be like on the actual day. I was very impressed with her knowledge and professionalism. I definitely recommend One Enchanted Evening and Annamarie!

Angie made me super comfortable. I liked the small atmosphere over the big places!

I purchased my bridal gown from One Enchanted Evening, and I could not have asked for a better experience. I went in with no clue what I was looking for, but my bridal consultant Angie spent all day with me helping me figure it out. I ended up with the perfect dress for my personality and my wedding. It truly is my dream dress, and I never would have found it on my own. Their head seamstress, Dana, did my alterations, and she was fantastic as well. One Enchanted Evening made finding my perfect dress fun instead of stressful, and I am completely satisfied with the way everything turned out. I highly recommend it to any bride.

It is rip off , run away from this store they wont tell uou there true policy till you bought the stuff , seen like there try to make you buy it with all kind of promise then they wont do it specialy they dont care about you after you done, really bad customer service , never and ever stop by this store for any kind of reasion .

First , I love my dress. The lady name Angie is very helful and very nice. I've been told that my fiance will rent the tux for free, and I were so happy to heard that. But couple weeks prior to my wedding, I brough him there for measuring his size and they told me that I have to rent 5 tuxedos to get the free groom tux. I were so mad. Nobody told me that when I purchased the dress and it's not written in the policy either. What a lier ?? I will recommend the other bride should go to the David Bridal to buy their dress because they give the groom tux for free, too.

As soon as i walked into One Enchanted Evening. I was greeted! I felt so comfortable in this store they took the time to make me feel like a princess. For any review you read, i dont see how you could of had a bad experience. My dress was ordered and came way early. Fit perfect. The staff ALL are nice including the owner! Donna and Angie are amazing people they made me feel so comfortable!!!! This store goes above and beyond to make their brides come back!!! I def will reccomend them!!!

i live 6 hours away, but our wedding was in PA. They were always very flexible on my appointment times to coordinate when I was in town. They are puppy friendly which came in handy during the HOT summer. They were not pushy, but very helpful. The lady I worked with even showed up at my reception just to say Hi and see the dress "in the atmosphere"! Overall great experience! And tons of choices!

Whatever you do, do *not* give One Enchanted Evening the task of outfitting you for your wedding - they cannot handle it. I ordered my wedding dress from OEE EIGHTEEN MONTHS EARLY for my wedding because I wanted to have my dress in advance. They told me it would be in in 6-8 months, and starting at 6 months, I called once a month to check on my dress. I was brushed off (rudely, most of the time) every time I called. Finally, after 8 months, my mother, who had purchased the dress, started to call. She was also brushed off. After several more phone calls and a few stops into the shop, my dress arrived FOURTEEN MONTHS after I ordered it. Needless to say, I took my business elsewhere in the meantime, as I was afraid I wouldn't have a dress for my wedding day. Stay away from this place.

I would NOT recommend getting your bridal dress from One Enchanted Evening. If you find it there, absolutely buy it from another vendor. I purchased my dress in the beginning of January - and they said it would be in around June. My wedding was in the beginning of August, and I got it less than 2 WEEKS before my wedding date. My fiance called up and when he asked what is going to happen if it doesn't come in time, they replied 'Well what do you want us to do about it?'. He then had to make numerous calls, and finally had to call the owner of the store to make sure my dress would be delivered in time. When I picked it up, they gave no apology, and told me TO MY FACE, that they put rush orders ahead of my order and that is why my dress was so late. Also, they told my Mother that they forgot to put my dress order in when I bought it (Jan). Please, whatever you do, DO NOT buy your dress here! They did not calm me down about my dress coming here so late, or apologize!! I just don't want what happened to me, to happen to any other bride. Go somewhere else for your purchase!!

I purchased my wedding gown from OEE. I had Alice the first time I tried on the dresses. I waited to buy my dress until I had my sister in town. When we returned to the store for a second look, I knew which dress I wanted. Alice was not there and another sales consultant helped me, however, she was not nearly as nice as Alice. I purchased the dress, but made sure it went on Alice's commission. I had to spend a considerable amout of money to have extra length added to the dress. However, I did have a postcard from a bridal show for a free veil (up to $299)...but most of their veils were in the $300s. The dress turned our perfect and their alterations woman is very good as well.

I stumbled across One Enchanted Evening one night after getting a pedicure next door. I was in the hunt for my wedding gown so I popped in to see what they had. I didn't have an appointment and there was another woman there trying on wedding gowns, so I thought I'd have to come back. But they were great and squeezed me in. I ended up buying my dress that night off the rack. Like another reviewer, I didn't think the discount was all that great for buying off the rack, but it fit me perfectly (just needed hemmed) and I was in a time crunch, so I got it. My only complaint is this: when I got the dress home, I realized that they just covered it in the thin plastic that you see at dry cleaners, not a zippered fabric cover like you usually see with wedding dresses. Since I was having a destination wedding, the dry cleaner plastic wasn't going to work. I called the store and they told me I had to pay $20 for a cover!! They only give the nice ones for special orders. What??? I looked around online to see if I could find a cheaper one and I couldn't. So I went into the store to pay the $20 and the lady was nice enough to give it to me. So it ended well. I didn't use their seamstress but found one on Craigslist that was WAY cheaper.

I bought a great dress here which was a sample - the discount wasn't too large for it being a sample, but it was still a good deal. The alterations were also a bit steep, but they were very helpful and didn't give me a hard time when I wanted to remove the train. Overall I'd definitely recommend One Enchanted Evening.

I was very pleased with my prom gown selections (quite a few years ago), so i was looking forward to finding my wedding gown here at One Enchanted Evening....
we arrived on a May afternoon..we did make an appointment..fortunately there were not any customers in the store(prom season now over).
The service was absolutely wonderful, we had Donna as our consultant (highly recommend) and the selection of dresses are plentiful, but not overwhelming, and all price ranges.
I loved loved my dress!!!
Unfortunately, when I returned with my bridal party to choose bridesmaids dresses(ten percent discount if you purchase your wedding gown there) the service was absolutely terrible!!!! I had requested Donna for the bridall party appointment but she was(we thought) MIA she was in the store..but acted like she didn't even know me!
We actually self served ourselves!
After a call to the store after this disaterous appointment..service took a 360 degree turnaround for the better!
Overall, I would reccommend this store ..they do have a beatiful selection of wedding gowns.
Also, they have expanded their store..and now there is a separate store for the bridal selections Thank Goodnes!!!!
Try to avoid the 'teeenagery' sales people at all costs!
The seamstress is ABSOLUTLY AMAZING! But beware..alterations are very very expensive...but well worth it!!!!

I went in to look for Bridal gowns and the Staff ( Owner and daughter) were both VERY VERY rude to me and my mother. They also wouldn't even estimate alteration costs for me.

PLEASE READ before you go there....I was HIGHLY disappointed with this store, its owner and the employees. I went here to buy my Dream Gown! I called in advance to see if they had a particular dress as well as some other dresses I liked. I was informed that they do and therefore I made an appointment. When I got there, they DID NOT HAVE ANY OF THE DRESSES I asked about! NONE! They bashed another store and dress company. The owner was extremely rude and demeaning. She did not even apologize for the mishap! How can you not have any of the dresses asked about.... that is POOR MANAGEMENT! The employees seemed to be bothered by questions and had no idea what they were talking about! When something, such as your wedding, is so important to you, one would think that the people who you were buying your dress from would be helpful and nice! NOT HERE!!!

purchased bridesmaids dresses from One Enchanted Evening. best price for the dress in the local area however sizing was off on three of the six bridesmaids which resulted in additional cost for alterations. everything else was good. dresses arrived on time and well ahead of schedule.

Went above and beyond to ensure I had the dress I REALLY loved...even allowing me to bring another dress in to try on to one of theirs side-by-side....I of course bought their dress :) LOVED my dress and my experience. Alterations were steep...but expected I guess!

I had to revise my original review about our experience and will say the following. -Throughout our process, once One Enchanted Evening had received payment for the dresses, good customer service stopped and the lies began. (See Chrissy's review) -The owner of this store did not care the slightest about all of the problems we had and was not shy about telling this to me when I called to file a complaint. -Within the first 15 seconds of our conversation I was hung up on because the owner would not tell me her first name. -When calling back the second time, she was extremely rude and vulgar throughout the entire phone conversation. (I could not get her name the entire conversation even though I asked several times) To avoid redundancy, please read Chrissy's review for specific details about our experience. Weddings are a stressful and expensive time in a bride’s life. I would HIGHLY recommend that future brides to be shop elsewhere. Orders were wrong, alterations were expensive, discounts were promised and then initially denied, credit cards were charged wrong and management was TERRIBLE to deal with. I have never had anyone talk to me like the owner of One Enchanted Evening did in my entire life; I just hope that brides to be read this and shop elsewhere

I absolutely LOVE my dress that I purchased at OEE. The staff there was friendly and helpful however the shop is small and they only had 2 bridal fitting rooms in use which resulted in a wait or using a smaller fitting room to dry on my wedding gown. Overall I'm very happy with OEE.

The salesgirl I had (Alice) was excellent! She was very nice and incredibly helpful. However, when I returned to pick up the dress, she was not there and the other salespeople were not as warm and helpful as she was. They let me into a room, but I did not feel like a bride or like I was getting exceptional service. I had to wait for quite a while before they helped me into the room and to pay my balance off. They walked past me multiple times and returned dresses to racks before helping me, without saying a word. If they didn't have the dress I fell in love with, I wouldn't necessarily have gone with them, knowing how they treated me when I picked up my dress.

I used One Enchanted Evening for my bridesmaids dresses. They offer a good- not great- selection of dresses but luckily I was able to find one that I really liked. I have to say, however, that they were not very helpful or friendly in helping me and my bridesmaids get the right sizes and colors. One woman, in particular, made us feel as if we were inconveniencing the staff by just being there. Your wedding day and the details of it are very important and most vendors that provide wedding and bridal services recognize this and actually tailor their services to meet the needs of brides. I don't think that the people at One Enchanted Evening really understand that. I am sure I could have found my dresses somewhere else and if I had to do it over again, I would keep shopping.

Because my husband and I are totally impatient, we decided to plan our wedding in four months, which left me little time to find a dress. One Enchanted Evening wasn't fazed. Alice helped me (the picky bride) find the perfect gown within an hour and the seamstress, Jen, whittled the off-the-rack size 8 dress down to a 2. It fit like it was custom-made for me. They were wonderful.

I felt like the sales people at One Enchanted Evening didn't understand how important the dress shopping experience is. I want to feel special, but my sales person definitely did not deliver on that. She was always pretty short and didn't seem excited or even overly nice/concerned. My dress looked beautiful and their seamstress is AMAZING (she is fabulous and makes you feel as a bride should feel--great). Some of the staff was great, others not so much, it's more hit or miss. I feel like some of them just think that they'll get a sale one way or another, and don't try as hard as they should to be excited for you.

I had NO problems with One Enchanted Evening. The 4 stars for professionalism is solely for the attitude of one of the employees at the store - she is fairly nice to brides but not the nicest to bridesmaids. I shrug it off as just her personality though - she was never cruel or nasty. Alice Mann is the consultant I worked with and she is a sweetheart! I don't know how many dresses she helped me get in and out of! She also called with updates on my dress and bridesmaid dresses and returned any calls promptly. Jen, the seamstress, is wonderful! My mother, who had her own drapery business, was very impressed with Jen's skills - that says A LOT! The dresses may be a little more expensive at One Enchanted Evening, but you will definitely find something more one-of-a-kind.

In high school, I bought all my prom dresses from this store and then on Veteran's Day in 2006 they gave away dresses to women in the military or marrying into the military (which was me!). I got a $2500 dress for free and the help that they gave me was unbelievable.

While I did not purchase my dress from this store, I did order my bridesmaids dresses from them. The store had fairly large selection of bridesmaid’s dresses (while this may vary depending on the time of the year, they do, do a lot of business for prom and homecoming – and carry a large selection of dresses for those occasions). It did take the estimated time of 4 months for the dresses to come in; however we received them in plenty of time for the girls to get them altered.

Since my bridesmaids were not in the area, alterations were done elsewhere.

I loved the dress selection and the bargin! There were so many dresses in such a variety of prices I don't know how anyone could not find what they were looking for. The sales staff was extremely helpful and friendly.
