We COULDN'T have picked a more perfect officiant. We met with her days ahead of time to go over what we wanted...as she has many, many ceremonies to fit any service. The moment we sat down with Sharon, we fell in love with her personal attention and sweet, honest, loving, caring demeanor. It was IMPORTANT to her that it was PERFECT for US... She showed up with the same caring for OUR DAY that we had seen in her previously. Sharon was "top notch" at delivering the service with style and humor. Both of which we wanted. We felt her interest was genuine and we would HIGHLY RECOMMEND her to others. Job well done, Sharon... You are, for sure, a part of our family now.

Sharon is absolutely amazing! My husband and I decided to get married last minute, so I was very nervous about finding an officiant who would give us a memorable ceremony. All my fears were put at ease when I met with Sharon to go over what type of ceremony we wanted. She was very flexible with my schedule, and arrived exactly when she said she would be there. She had multiple ceremonies for us to choose from, and in the end she took parts from 3 separate ceremonies and merged them together for us. She also listened to stories of how we met and incorporated that into our ceremony.

Sharon was our officant and was wonderful from start to finish. We met with her and reviewed her many wedding ceremonies. She has many beautiful ceremonies and is even willing to work to create your own special one. This is our second marriage and we were joining children from previous marriages. Sharon including each childs name into the ceremony to make us feel more like a new family. After having 3 friends that had offered to officiate bail at the last minute, I began frantically searching online to find someone. After a bit of searching I chose Sharon because of all the positive reviews she had previously received. She not only calmed all my fears of everything being last minute, she re-wrote some of her ceremony to customize it to us. Sharon even went along with our Halloween theme and dressed up to perform our ceremony! She was so easy to work with and my fears of finding someone online that would just take my check and run were completely assuaged when we met up for coffee to go over he details. Thank you Sharon!

I have to say she was amazing as an officiant. We didn't have anyone to be our officiant and wanted someone who was warm and easy to work with. Sharon was amazing, she was so friendly and made the whole process very easy. Our ceremony was beautiful and meaningful to us as a couple. Our guests were in tears and laughing within the short intimate ceremony. She was encouraging before the ceremony and responded very quickly through email before the wedding. Sharon was wonderful! We knew from the first meeting that she would be the perfect officiant for our wedding. Both my husband and I were raised in LDS families but neither of us are currently members. We wanted our ceremony to be about us and focus on our love here on Earth rather than about God and heaven and eternity, but at the same time not alienate our religious families. Sharon managed this delicate balance better than I could possibly have imagined! She wrote the ceremony specially for us, rather than just saying the same words written for a hundred other ceremonies and shoehorning us in. Everyone commented on how beautiful and personal the ceremony was.

One thing I liked was that after she had written the ceremony, she emailed it to me 2 weeks before the wedding so we could be sure that we liked it and that there were no surprises. There was a single line that nagged at me a bit and I decided that I didn't like it, so I told her and she removed it. It was that simple.

We found Rev. Sharon Vollett on this website. We were immediately attracted to the fact that she marries all types of people and offered a non-religious ceremony, which we wanted.

We met Sharon at a coffee shop to get to know each other and talk about our vision. She had many different types of ceremonies, vows, etc. to help guide us, and she was patient as we looked through it all. She was willing to work with the unique circumstances of our wedding: it was more of an elopement, the time was based on weather conditions that day, and she had to ride a tram to 11,000 feet to perform the ceremony.

In the end, she customized our ceremony, using bits and pieces of different services. She was flexible and willing to make any changes we requested just a few weeks before the ceremony. She was truly committed to making the day special and unique for us, and it is a day we will always remember!

We absolutely loved Sharon. She was perfect. I had actually planned on meeting with several officiants but canceled all other meetings after meeting Sharon. I knew she would be perfect after discussing what I wanted and talking with her. She has the most beautiful wedding vows to choose from, or if you want you can make your own. I'm just going to go down the line here, Sharon was completely awesome! We wanted to have a non-religious ceremony and Sharon was able to provide that to us without a problem. Her personality clicked with us as soon as we sat down with her and started to go through a multitude but professionally done scripts as a base, then she tailored it to perfectly match what we wanted which was minimal vows but a custom ring ceremony. It ended up being very beautiful. Even before that, when we were waiting to all walk up to the alter, we had forgotten to put on the corsages and had no idea how to put them on, but Sharon was right there and put them on all of us! It's always nice and somewhat rare these days to have someone who sincerely works with their heart for someone else. It's the little things like that that will make me refer her to anyone else looking for an Officiant, for any kind of ceremony! Thanks Sharon!! You are one of the good ones!

Me and my husband got married two years ago Sharron made our day as special as it should be her ceremony was so beautiful it was so unique all my guest loved it!!!! It brought tears to ours and our guest eyes she just didn't say our vowels she made it more special when we did a sand ceremony which was very cool and our own special vows for us too!!! I would highly recommend her everything came together so good thanks to her!!!!!

As part of a 6 week holiday in the US (we are from Australia) we deicided to renew our wedding vows for our 20th anniversery. After some deliberation as to where this should take place we decided that in the mountains around SAlt Lake City would be nice. She quickly broke the ice of what would normally be an awkward meeting by her warm and inviting demeanor. We met with Sharon at her favorite coffee shop which provided a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere to discuss our ceremony. She let us pore over different examples of ceremonies so we could pick and choose what felt meaningful to us and she used our selections to write up a wonderful ceremony that was perfect for us.

We discovered Sharon on-line shortly before our elopement. Despite the fact that she already had several ceremonies to perform on our specific date, she was very accommodating and was able to fit us in. We did not choose a location for the ceremony until the day before, as we are not from Utah and wanted to explore the area to find the perfect site. As it turns out we were married under Bridal Veil Falls near Provo, and it was absolutely perfect. Sharon wrote a wonderful ceremony specific to us, and it couldn't have been better. She was a pleasure to work with and we have no regrets about any of our choices for our special day.

Sharon is a very calm and collected individual, she has a very warm personality that just disarms you of all the stress of planning your special day. She was very attentive to details and listened to how we expressed our feelings about each other and our special day.

Sharon expressed to us the idea of having certain members of the wedding party and family come up with colored ribbon to do the hand fasting ceremony, and express what each color meant to them and what wishes they wanted to express to me and my wife. It was a lovely sentiment.

With Sharon's help we were able to come up with a very customized ceremony that incorporated traditional aspects of a wedding ceremony, with informal and intimate aspects as well. We focused more on what love meant and the bonding of two people forever. Joining the ring ceremony and the hand fasting ceremony together was just what we wanted.

My Mother in law, was very pleased with Sharon and how she was so personal to my wife and her wedding party just before the ceremony. I too was glad for her support and advise as I wasn't very nervous... until it was time. Thank you again Sharon for making our wishes come true on our special day.

My wife and I were just married about a week and a half ago. We chose Petals and Promises to perform our ceremony and it could not have been any better. The organization, professionalism, creativity, affordability, and basically everything else you can think of was nothing short of perfection. It made everything SO much easier on us. We avoided a lot of headaches and stress because of how well Petals and Promises took care of us. There were a large number of ceremony options for us to choose from. And if there were things about one option we liked and things about another we were aloud to mix and match things to basically make the ceremony completely our own. We were allowed to be creative and play outside the box rather than having the same ol same ol boring wedding that everyone has seen a million times. Petals and Promises was a HUGE breath of fresh air!

Picking an officiant was a little worrisome originally. I lived in a seperate state than the one I was getting married in, so between work, school, wedding planning, and life in general there was no way I was going to have the opportunity to meet the officiant in person.
