One Stop DJ

First- One Stop as a company really knows the meaning of customer service.
Whenever I had a question, no matter how trivial it may have been, I received a response in no less than a few hours.
I extended my time by an hour and it only cost me an extra $50 ...
I could NOT beat that price- ANYWHERE! John was AWESOME!
He called the day before the wedding to go over everything.
You could tell he had all of our information in front of him
(keep in mind- I am a music junkie so I had MY list plus the standard One Stop list!)
He mentioned to me a few songs that they did not have in their collection that I wanted and said he would go get them if I didn't have them.
On the day of, John was set up and ready to go (even through the reception debacle).
He even searched me out after having my "bridezilla" moment to make sure I was OK and to reassure me that he would take of things from his end.
The music during cocktail hour (outside on the patio) sounded incredible.
He helped everyone direct everything and kept the night rolling.
I even made a special dedication to my deceased Grandfather by playing a CD of an old record of his polka band from 1941...
He handled it great and made sure everyone heard the announcement.
John interacted just enough with the crowd to maintain humor and fun, but not so much that he got irritating.
So many people on this board keep recommending Brad from One Stop-
I would recommend John just the same!

They wrecked my wedding. We had Corey. The week before the wedding they changed my DJ to Corey. After talking to him, we had alot of concerns. We conacted One Stop DJ twice before the wedding. Both times we were given conflicting information about Corey, (he was sick the week before so he was hard to understand, he worked 4 wedding the week before), We were told we were talking to the owner only to find out that we weren't after the wedding. He Played songs on our do not play list (we gave him the ok on 2 of those songs but the rest we didn't)He didn't play songs on Must play list. He didn't play songs that I went up there and requested (I'm the bride)!!! He was unorganized, didn't have the Intro music, ready, didn't know what those songs were. It was all in his information packet. I could go on and on. After the wedding when we complained to the company, they said their lawyer would be in touch. I posted a review about the commpany on another wedding website. I was then contacted by One Stop DJ's lawyer were they threatened to sue me saying I was LYING. The other website took down my review of One Stop DJ. I would not recommend them to anyone. It has been a nightmare dealing with them. The DJ was horrible, my mother and my niece had to watch him to make sure he did his job, Which he did poorly.
