If you’re considering hiring Orange Blossom Special Events, please, just do it! My husband and I were initially hesitant about hiring a day-of-coordinator for a few reasons: 1. We had this crazy idea that we could do it all ourselves 2. We had not planned on the additional expense. First, we physically could not do everything ourselves. Second, Brooke saved us money by referring us to great vendors who gave us great rates. Plus, Brooke is worth 10 times her fee. Hiring Orange Blossom Special Events was the single best decision we made for our wedding. Even my husband is still beaming about how wonderful she was and what a great decision it was to hire her.
Brooke is an expert in every aspect of wedding planning and execution and has great ideas and advice. She is also extremely punctual and responsive. Every email was answered within a matter of minutes, or at the most a couple of hours which I really appreciated. If a concern came up in my mind that I wanted immediate resolution on, Brooke was there to help and put my mind at ease. She, as a person, is cheerful, pleasant, calming and extremely professional and knowledgeable. Despite all of my MANY silly questions and random thoughts, I never felt like I was a burden to her or that she was judging my silliness.
I can’t express enough gratitude to Brooke for making our wedding the most special day. Everything was flawless and I had no worries or concerns the entire time because I knew she was there taking care of every aspect of the day. She definitely earned my trust quickly and I wasn’t disappointed – only more impressed than I thought possible. Planning a wedding you are often told that you won’t remember anything because of all the chaos, but this was not the case for me. I remember each moment because there were so many great people, like Brooke, taking care of us and caring for us. So don’t hesitate and book Orange Blossom Special Events immediately!

Brooke was amazing! She was so much more than a "day of" coordinator. From the time we agreed to work together, I felt comfortable emailing her with questions. She literally responded within minutes to every email I sent her, including when she was in the hospital after giving birth!! SHe provided suggestions and recommendations when asked, and was incredibly organized with the planning process. I honestly don't know what I would have done without her! Such a value to have - even if there is an event coordinator on site. She helped the day run from start to finish! I highly recommend Brooke and Orange Blossom Special Events

My mother-in-law thought my husband and I were crazy for wanting to plan our own wedding. So much so that she went out and found Brooke at Orange Blossom Special Events. She was generous enough to provide us with Brooke's services and I will never be able to thank her enough for that. I had no idea starting out how hard it would be. Brooke and her team, especially the wonderful and amazing Theresa, took on an incredible amount of work and far exceeded my expectations! I am beyond pleased with the way everything turned out! If I had a question or a problem Theresa was there and it was handled! No problem. More than a wonderful wedding, they gave us peace of mind. We can never thank Brooke and Theresa enough. They are amazing!

My husband and I hired Brooke to be our day-of coordinator for our wedding. She was very attentive and always responded to our e-mails immediately. She answered all of our questions and gave us good suggestions for the issues we presented to her. Even after the wedding was over, we had questions and she responded right away to our e-mails. To me, that is a sign that she wants to please her clients and actually cares about her job, instead of just working hard up until the moment she's been paid.

Most of the vendors Brooke suggested to us were great, with the exception of our catering company, Tender Greens. I've reviewed Tender Greens as well (Hollywood and Pasadena locations) and I would not recommend using them to cater your wedding.

I wish I could give Brooke 10 stars!!! She is truly amazing! We hired her as a day of coordinator, but we got so much more than that. She is available any time you need her, literally. Every time I emailed her I got an email back within minutes!! If you are planning your wedding, you understand how much that quick response means to you. On top of that, she is extremely knowledgeable about the industry and has tons of experience so she is able to handle any question or issue with ease. She provides you with vendors referrals, ideas related to your theme and all the advice that you need. She really makes it so EASY!! When we had our walk through with the venue, she remembered all the questions I had asked her and made sure to address them with our venue. Also, she asked that they reach out to her for everything so that I didn't need to stress or worry. AMAZING!!!

On the day of our rehearsal, I was anticipating some chaos since that is what I've experienced with other weddings; however, Brooke made it all so seamless and easy. Even the on-site manager commented how gracefully Brooke coordinated the entire process.

The day of our wedding was simply magically and I owe it ALL to Brooke!! Not only did she manage all the deliveries, vendor questions, catering logistics and set up, but she also checked-in with me throughout the day and kept me extremely calm. Our wedding was amazing and I couldn't believe how effortlessly everything flowed from beginning to end.

It's now been six months since our wedding and people are still reaching out to us to get Brooke's information because they want to refer her to everyone they know. Honestly, the best thing you can do for yourself is to hire Brooke. You will be so happy that you did!!!

Working with Brooke was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning. She is a joy to work with and amazing at what she does.

We live in Minneapolis, but had a destination wedding (for over 100 people) with a traditional Indian ceremony in Santa Monica – without any family living in LA. Once we had found a site, we knew that we would need a planner to help manage the details and to be on location closer to the date.

Here is what you can expect from Brooke:
• Fast, open communication. Brooke answers e-mails scarily quickly and is always available for a phone call or email conversation. Many other planners are only available in the months before your wedding or for a communication package fee- which I thought was absurd.
• A sunny disposition and easy going demeanor… it’s clear Brooke loves what she does, and she works with all different personalities very easily. We had some strong personalities (myself included) involved in our planning and she helped us navigate and find solutions that made everyone happy while remaining calm and professional.
• You will save money. Brooke was able to use her knowledge and connections to help us save an amazing amount of money.
o She used her knowledge of the industry and connections to find us smaller, local vendors we would have never found ourselves that were much less expensive than the typical vendors
o She worked with our caterer to create a menu that fit our budget and our atypical menu requests… something we had been unable to get them to understand until she stepped in
o Some of our vendors gave us discounts simply because she asked…
o Also- she was so on top of things that we were able to cancel a planned wedding planning trip to CA- saving even more money!
• You will save time. She helped us focus our efforts and took on quite a bit of work right before the wedding… running some errands, working on site set-ups, etc. Without a planner, our families would have been running ragged around an unfamiliar city; instead, they got to have a wonderful vacation with our wedding at the end of it!
• She will be involved in your planning and thought processes… at the end of planning, when I was stressed out and thinking I needed to add more and more, she was able to remind me of what we initially wanted and put everything back into perspective for me. This was so beneficial.
• She will care… she took the time to understand our traditional Hindu ceremony, she scrambled to order extra champagne when it ran low because she knew we loved champagne, and she will check in with you after to see how you are doing.

Short of getting married, hiring Brooke will be the best wedding related decision you can make. I would do it again in a heartbeat!

My husband & I used Orange Blossom Special Events for our day-of wedding coordinating services. We had the pleasure of working with Christy Heng, who was so very sweet, professional, calm, and helpful throughout the entire process. Though we paid for "day-of" wedding coordinating, we actually got more than what we paid for. Christy helped us the month before and was nice enough to accompany me to my consultation with my florists (where she sat for 2+hrs!), completed a very thorough walk-through of the venue beforehand, and also coordinated our rehearsal. On the day of our wedding, she did such an amazing job coordinating our ceremony & reception and all the big & little things that evening! She made me feel calm and relaxed the entire day & coordinated our wedding so seamlessly that many people didn't even know we had a coordinator! One other thing is that Christy was always available by phone & so responsive to any question I had as an anxious bride. She was amazing & I am truly grateful that we hired Orange Blossom to coordinate our wedding.

Of course, we didnt think we needed a wedding coordinator. We had most of our vendors in place and weren't planning an elaborate celebration. And yet, as the day approached, we were starting to worry about how we would manage all the details on the day of our wedding. We found Brooke's company via the website of our officiant, setup a meeting and never looked back. I can honestly say that, from the first meeting with Brooke, I stopped worrying because I knew my wedding was in good hands. Despite only contracting for "day of" services, Brooke came to our final meeting at our venue and coordinated our rehearsal. She picked up all our ceremony/reception items 2 days before the wedding and was always readily available to answer our questions via email. She was in close text and phone contact on the day of our wedding and made a seamless transition when our outdoor ceremony was rained off and had to be moved indoors. The LAFD has strict guidelines for the use of indoor candles and, when our floral centerpieces were bigger than expected, Brooke fixed the problem so we could still have candles at our reception. She coordinated our event timeline perfectly and was readily available, yet unobtrusive, throughout our entire wedding. At the end of the evening, we returned to our room to find all our gifts stacked neatly in the closet, rose petals scattered on the bed and candles flickering throughout the room. You may think you can get by without her but, trust me, you need Brooke!

Brooke was recommended to us by a family friend.  We knew from the minute we started talking to her that she would be perfect for us.  She was so friendly and organized, which was such a nice change from other LA vendors that we had talked to.  She was so much more than we expected from our day of coordinator.  She was extremely organized and on top of everything, and she responded to all of our emails in record time (seriously, I'm talking within five minutes every time). She answered countless questions that we had, had our linens delivered directly to her and was able to get us a discount on them, came to our house and picked up all of our decor a few days before the wedding, took it all to the venue, and set everything up exactly as i had imagined it.  She even filled every one of our favor jars with m&ms the night before the wedding.  She coordinated with all of our vendors, set up a timeline and made sure it was followed to the minute.  She gave me great decor ideas.  I was so confident that Brooke would make sure the day went smoothly that I was not nervous at all on the wedding day.  And I was right, the day went by without a glitch.  I cannot give Brooke enough praise!  She really was a lifesaver, and really made our wedding day the absolute best day it could be.

The day of my wedding, many people told me: “You are the calmest bride I have ever seen.” This came from not only friends and family, but also from seasoned wedding veterans, like my makeup artist.

The reason? Brooke. Plain and simple, hiring her was the best decision we made during our planning process, and my only regret is that we didn’t bring her on board sooner. I talked to several other planners and got quotes from them, and here’s why we picked Brooke:

1. She is fast and responsive. With other planners, it took half a day or a full day to get a response. No doubt they were busy with lots of other clients, but I had already dealt with a couple slow-responding vendors and did not want to deal with that in a planner. Brooke responded very quickly, and this level of service—from the moment we started communicating until two days after the wedding when she dropped off some cake stands—never waned. We were always amazed when, at some random hour of the night we’d send her an email, we’d get a response right away.
2. Her service packages are very reasonable. She worked with us to custom-design a package based on our needs. The value for what we got was excellent. She executed beautifully, and most importantly, she gave us peace of mind.
3. She immediately understood our aesthetic. Granted, I did put together a 41-page deck of my ideas, but she really “got” our style down perfectly. Moreover, she helped refine and improve the feel we were going for, while keeping the projects manageable.
4. Brooke is ultra organized. I had many, many little projects going on (did I mention a 41-page deck?), and even I had trouble keeping it straight. For someone managing other people’s weddings, Brooke had no trouble remembering it all. I only had to say something once, and she would get it done. I am so used to having to repeat myself to people at work, other vendors, etc., so this was such a relief.
5. She is so positive! There were times when I wasn’t sure if certain issues would be resolved, and she always had that can-do attitude. I hate using that phrase, but Brooke embodies the can-do ethic entirely.
6. She referred excellent, reasonably priced vendors. She gathered quotes for us from florists, and she got us vendors for a shuttle and photobooth.
7. Brooke executed the day-of planning flawlessly. I didn’t have to worry about a thing. I woke up, got ready and followed her color-coded schedule of events. When we got to the venue early, we found her there, with her sleeves rolled up, hanging lanterns from a ladder. She picked up all the props and décor from our house the day before, and she decorated the venue better than I had ever imagined in my many schemes. She kept us on schedule without it ever seeming like a schedule. She was there making it all happen in the background. A couple of our extremely particular friends in finance (who were initially skeptical about a need for a planner) were especially impressed by her demeanor, confidence and planning skills.

My husband and I planned our Los Angeles wedding from New York. Brooke was instrumental in making the wedding not only look gorgeous, but also in implementing so many of our personal touches throughout the day.

So many of our guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever attended. It was the happiest day of my life, and I wouldn’t change a thing. Except hiring Brooke earlier.

Working with Brooke, our Day of Coordinator, was a positive experience in so many ways. First off, her responsiveness and professionalism was a breath of fresh air after our encounters communicating with various vendors in the industry. (Seriously, she returns emails and texts in record-breaking time). She is accomodating, thoughtful and practical and presents her ideas in a helpful, yet unintrusive way. Although she was our "Day of," she willingly answered countless emails in the months prior to wedding, providing guidance and suggestions which I'm sure were outside of that job description. During the month of the wedding, Brooke coordinated with all of our vendors, many of whom later commended her organization. We felt prepared on our wedding day, and Brooke handled the things we were unprepared for (incorrect # of tables delivered by our rental company, broken ketubah frame, etc.) quickly and smoothly. She and her assistant were friendly and efficient, and we would recommend Orange Blossom Special Events to anyone looking to work with friendly, professional, calm yet effective coordinators.

Hiring Brooke was the best decision I made in terms of wedding planning, hands down. She made the entire process so much easier, stress-free and also helped us find amazing vendors and great deals.

I can't say enough great things about Orange Blossom Special Events. We hired them for the whole process starting at the beginning of planning. Right away I knew I was in over my head- and was so lucky to have Brooke to guide us through. But NOTHING compares to how she handled the day of. What could have been an insanely stressful day was easy because of Brooke and her awesome team. They took care of every problem, made sure the day/evening went smoothly. Any bump in the road- they were right there on top of it. I didn't have to lift a finger nor spend a moment thinking about any incidents. The events flowed perfectly since Brooke had planned it all out way in advance with me and all our vendors.

They also did a fabulous job with programs, menus, table cards and all that so we didn't have to hire someone else for it. I was sooo happy the way all the stationary came out too. It all looked so professionally done.

As mother-of-the-bride I found Brooke to be very organized, responsive, calm when calm was needed and always one step ahead of me. Additionally she was a sweetheart to work with. My daughter has very specific taste so we agreed that she would make all of the decisions regarding venue, flowers, band, lighting, linens etc., as long as it was within my price range. She and Brooke worked together on everything and kept it within the budget.
Brooke found us amazing vendors. I received many complements on the beautiful centerpieces, which I thought were gorgeous, and some guests said they had never seen anything so beautiful. However, the center pieces did not come out exactly as my daughter and Brooke had had in mind. After the wedding, Brooke spoke with the vendor who graciously gave us a partial refund.
The day of the wedding I did not have to think about anything. Brooke handled all the little issues that came up, and they will come up. I have heard that mothers and daughters often have a difficult relationship prior to a wedding. My daughter and I had the best time of our lives and I believe it was because of Brooke’s guidance and support. Brooke, thank you for making this whole experience beautiful and perfect.
If you are planning a wedding Brooke is 5+ stars, very highly recommended.

hiring brooke as our wedding coordinator was (by far) the best decision i made during the 16 months i spent planning our big day. i do not know how i could have gotten everything done in time without brooke's help. brooked helped me extensively during the month leading up to the wedding, and constantly went above and beyond her contracted duties. on our actual wedding day, brooke was a savior - from rescuing a forgotten veil, to ensuring that everything and everybody was in the right place, at the right time. as i write this review it has been almost three weeks since my wedding, and my husband and i are still constantly saying to ourselves, "thank god we had brooke!" because with her help, our wedding day was absolutely perfect, and we didn't have to worry about a thing. through it all, brooke has been not only a wedding coordinator, but a friend, and i cannot express in words how amazing she is! i highly recommend brooke and her team at orange blossom special events.

SPEECHLESS is how Brooke left me towards the end of my wedding day. I knew from my first consultation with Brooke that she would be a good and solid coordinator. She was personable, easy to chat with, professional, timely, and organized. But all of that was expected.

Here’s what I didn’t expect… Unbelievable responsiveness and thoroughness to any and all questions I had (I felt like I was on her speed dial). Patience for everyone in my wedding party during the rehearsal, especially my little nephews. Smiles even though I know some things have gone array (She would never admit it though!). Calmness amidst drunkenness. Flawless execution of ideas and creativity. Amazing abilities to connect with and make all of my guests – both old and young – feel welcome and comfortable.

Finally and most importantly, the way I felt when I walked into my hotel suite at the end of the night... All of my wedding gifts and things were organized, neatly tucked away in the corners of the room. Brooke created a romantic ambiance for my suite that left me and my husband completely relieved, speechless, and ready to take on all of our days ahead.

From that moment of yes, please be my day of coordinator… to that moment of wonderful and complete enjoyment of my special day. Brooke will always be one of the best and right decisions in my and my husband’s life. I wholeheartedly recommend Brooke to be anyone’s day of coordinator!

Brooke is AWESOME!! She is professional, very responsive, and just the sweetest person. I did not plan on hiring a coordinator but our wedding venue required one for day of and I am so glad I found Orange Blossom events. My special day would not have been so wonderful without Brooke. Everything fell into place and went exactly the way I wanted it to, all thanks to her! She even went out of her way (and beyond her job description) to pick up my wedding gown in West Hollywood and drive an hour south to the wedding site on the day of. Also, we all know the importance of keeping in line with our budget and Orange Blossoms is more than reasonably priced. I couldn't have asked for a better coordinator than Brooke. Don't hesitate to book her!! :)

Brooke is a godsend! My fiance and I hired Brooke as our Day-Of wedding coordinator but she went above and beyond that role. She met with us multiple times to review information, go over questions and helped make a few decisions when we were at a standstill. Her vendor list is vast and each person we hired through her recommendation was stellar. She is unbelievably organized and makes sure that your event goes off without a hitch. If hiccups do occur (which most likely something will) she will either deal with it completely on her own so you never know or she will discretely come to you with options to solve it, then she's off to handle it 100%. Our wedding was a huge success and we both attribute that to Brooke as we truly could not have done it without her.

Brooke and Theresa were the reason my wedding happened!!! I met Brooke at an event that my venue was hosting, asked to set up a time to meet, she was very accommodating with my crazy schedule, met with her and instantly knew she was the one!!! If you need a coordinator do not look anywhere else!!!! I am so blessed to have worked with Brooke and Theresa they are amazing, go with the flow, relaxed, professional, amazing, fabulous, need I go on!!! Brooke was the best decision I made for my wedding! I chose the day of coordinator package, but she really helped me for the months leading up to the wedding date. She is exceptionally responsive with emails, she always had helpful information in her responses and she was a very valuable asset to my decision making process.

On the day of the wedding I could just relax and know that Brooke would handle all of the logistics, or anything that came up.

I highly recommend Orange Blossom Special Events to anyone who needs a little extra help with planning, organizing and resources.

From the get go it was super easy to get along with Brooke. She was sweet, enthusiastic and super easy to talk to - all things that you want in a wedding planner. Although we met with a few different coordinators, we went with Orange Blossom because we felt they really understood what we wanted out of a wedding.

And let me just say, that wasn't always easy. We wanted a wedding that was fun but still romantic, laid-back but still elegant, quirky, beautiful, meaningful - yep, we wanted a lot! Luckily Brooke was there to make it all happen. She always had a number of unique ideas and experienced advice to guide us through the process. I know I was a maniac at times, and Brooke really helped keep me calm and focused. Although most of our vendors were fantastic, when there was any issue, Brooke was always one step ahead. She is an ultimate planner - always updating schedules, timelines, layouts, etc! Several of our vendors commented on the fact that she was much more organized than most coordinators they work with. Not to mention that whenever I sent her an email - her response was almost immediate (and I keep crazy hours!!)

A few days before the wedding our photobooth company cancelled due to an emergency. Without missing a beat, Brooke found a new company willing to take over. Not only did they match a super reduced price that we had negotiated, but they threw in additional services like personalized photo strips and a scrapbook station. It was all Brooke. And only when everything was in place did she tell us about the drama. Although I like to think of myself as laid back, the truth is that I'm not. I was nervous and anxious about things going right. Brooke took total charge of the situation and fixed everything without ever worrying us. It was super impressive!

We put a lot on Brooke's plate the day of the wedding. In addition to coordinating the whole day she was setting up programs, place cards, escort cards, photos, a candy bar and much, much more. She hustled all night, running from one end of the venue to the other - but always with purpose. We were running late but she got us back on track somehow (not sure how she did that!) When we were running of vodka she actually went to the store to get some more! I could go on and on but I think my point has been made. She did an AMAZING job and we were thrilled with our wedding.

I hired Brooke to be my day of coordinator, so that I wouldn't have to worry about anything at the wedding. She did more than I expected a day of coordinator would, creating a timeline for me, reaching out to vendors, and consulting with me before the wedding. The day of, everything went smoothly, and she kept us on schedule. I'm glad I found her, because she did a great job and was such a sweet person to work with.

Beyond a doubt, Brooke and her team at Orange Blossom Special Events helped make my wedding everything I dreamed of and more. So many people advised me to take a moment and try to take everything in on the actual wedding day because it would go by in a flash, but to be perfectly honest I was able to really appreciate and enjoy my ENTIRE wedding knowing that Brooke was taking care of every detail. After the many months of planning, she took care of it all and allowed me the luxury to enjoy the fruits of my labor.

At one point, one of her assistants actually sewed a button back onto my husband's tuxedo minutes before the reception started! That's how thorough they are. Not to mention how responsive Brooke is anytime you email her. I usually got a response within an hour if not sooner.

Absolutely loved Brooke!! I plan educational conferences and programs for a living... so I know what goes into making an event run smoothly and seamlessly. We had several consultations before Brooke was referred to us by our MC/DJ. We set up a meeting with her to talk about our wedding... and we hired her on the spot.

Brooke is very responsive, organized, experienced and very sweet. She came with us to coordinate the church, confirm the flowers and figure out the play-by-play for the whole day. The week of the wedding, she confirmed with all of the vendors and set up a timeline for everyone. Seriously… I didn’t really need to do a single thing… Brooke made everything happen.

On the day of the wedding, several changes came up with the logistics, the guests, the seating arrangements… and Brooke rolled with the punches. When I got to the church and the reception, everything was gorgeous and perfect. There was definitely no stress on our big day because of Brooke… and my hubby and I got to enjoy the whole day with our friends and family.

I had 5 dresses for my wedding (it’s a Chinese thing to have multiple dress changes), and Brooke was there to help me in and out. One of the most impressive things was at the end of the night, after everyone left, Brooke handed my groomsman the car keys… she had packed all of my dresses, the extra wedding favors, the presents, the guest book, the extra wine, my shoes and everything else into the car… and we were ready to go. If it wasn’t for Brooke, I probably would have lost all of those things or left them at the restaurant!!

Highly recommended for anyone planning a wedding!

Stop! You do not need to look any further..Brooke at Orange Blossom Events is for you. She was amazing with our wedding. I am a high maintenance person/bride. Every demand that I had, she was fast and accommodating. I liked that she was timely, responded fast, dependable, and made me comfortable with all her knowledge. Brooke took the time to understand my vision in order to bring it to life the day off. And did she ever bring my vision to life. The day was perfect and all because of her. Everything ran smoothly because of Brooke. I did not have one worry! I was able to enjoy being the bride the day of because Brooke was handling the headaches. If anything went wrong I am not aware of it, she is that good to be able to deal with it and still have the end product what I wanted. At the end of the event, I really felt like she was a fairy godmother that flipped her wand and perfection appeared. Thank you Brooke for all your hard work!

brooke is fabulous!!

as a fellow event coordinator, you can recognize the talent in another right off the bat!! brooke and i had the opportunity to first work together at spanish hills country club, and as their once on-site catering manager, she was an absolute delight! she was well-organized, polite and constantly maintained her cool throughout any challenge that came her way - leaving her clients feeling a breath of fresh air & total relaxation on her event day - and leaving each vendor feeling calm & secure that the event was in her hands. we have had the pleasure of staying in touch to share ideas, advice & client referrals. i would send any client her way, anytime, period!! if she didn't have her own company, i'd steal her and have her work for me. :)

Brooke was our "day-of coordinator" but was helpful from the day we booked her. She is a dream to work with (very calming but also enthusiastic/energetic). Even though I know she works with other brides, I always felt like I was her only client.

Responsive: Since my job has trained me to generally expect responses to emails within a day, Brooke was perfect because she is very responsive (she often replied to emails within minutes). Also, if she's going to be out of the office, she's very
good about giving advance notice to her clients which is much appreciated.

Professional: Brooke is very organized and is proactive in checking in on wedding progress. She is also a great source of advice (e.g. I often asked for vendor recommendations and thoughts on wedding planning in general like what lighting might go well for my venue). She has a great questionnaire that you fill out and from that she creates a very easy to use timeline that she gives you and all the vendors so that everyone is on the same page. She walked me through the timeline during one of visits to the venue and was not only good about keeping things on track the day of but also flexible about tweaking things on the spot depending on how the reception was going. She also did a great job preparing and running our rehearsal and family/friends found her very friendly. She is detail oriented and thinks of things that I didn't think of (for example, she suggested that the groomsmen place their hands in a consistent manner during the ceremony - either clasped in front or the back - which was great for pictures!).

Great Value: Her fees are very reasonable given how responsive and professional she is. When I first started planning my wedding, I thought that I was organized enough to handle everything, but I now fully appreciate that Brooke was worth every penny. She made everything run smoothly the day of because she coordinated directly with all the vendors ahead of time, worked closely with the venue and was very organized with her detailed timeline so I knew I was in good hands. I was able to fully enjoy the wedding without worrying about anything because Brooke got everything set up and always magically knew where to find me and when to check up on me. Even if you
consider yourself an organized person, I highly recommend working with Brooke because you will be very busy leading up to the wedding (things always pop up) and even busier the day of. The special day passes quickly so you'll want to spend time with family and friends instead of making sure things go smoothly with the vendors and venue.

I can't say enough about Brooke. She was fantastic! Honestly, stop looking and just hire her. You won't be disappointed. She's young, experienced, flexible, and incredibly organized. She has a wonderful calming presence (which is very important when you're in your last weeks of planning), and is also very energetic and enthusiastic. She answers every e-mail or phone call within minutes. She completely understood the whole vision and executed it exactly how I would have done it. Every vendor we hired was so thankful that she was there. Everything just ran so smoothly. she will go above and beyond her duties to make sure everything is just perfect.
If you're on the fence about hiring a day-of, stop hesitating! Brooke is worth every penny. Brooke made sure that all we had to do was show up and have an amazing time. I can't thank her enough for making our wedding day just perfect.

Brooke recently planned and coordinated a wedding for one of my clients. I can't say enough good things about Brooke! I just got married on Sunday and it was absolutely the best day of my life thanks to her! Here are the reason's you should trust your wedding (or any event, really) to Brooke:
1). She returns emails, texts, phone calls in a snap which really helped me with every on the spot question I had, say in the middle of paying for something for the wedding.
2). Her prices are super reasonable. I hired her as my month of coordinator--and really, we were in constant contact from January 2010 to now, two days after my wedding! Her services are comparable to all of the othe rwedding planners I got off Project Wedding, but for much less. I've never worked with a wedding planner before, so maybe they're fees are so high because they make all of your decisions for you. I don't know. Reading my mind was the only other thing that would have made her services more reasonable...and I think she actually has that as a package.
3). I did not have to worry about anything other then showing up and being the bride on my wedding day! If anything went wrong, I have no idea what it was.
4). She works with a lot of super reasonable, yet great vendors. I had complete trust in working with her suggested vendors and they were wonderful.
5). She's just plain great! I really enjoyed working with her! She made my day so magical and stress free! I didn't have to worry about anything the last two weeks before the wedding.

Having Brooke be part of our wedding was truly perfect. Having hired her without ever meeting her, just conversations over the phone and internet I was crossing my fingers that everything would be good. But it was better, PERFECT!

Brooke was my day of coordinator, but she was really more. She was available by email throughout the entire process. Part of her package is that she checks in every month and is available to answer wedding related questions. For brides who want to do much of the planning themselves, this is super useful. I'm not quite sure if the wedding would have been pulled off as well without me asking her little questions about the wedding along the way.

We had a destination wedding on Catalina Island and as a destination day of coordinator she was more than accommodating. She did not charge a travel fee, just transportation and hotel expenses which I found very reasonable. Brooke offered to come the night before to run the rehearsal dinner at no extra cost using this as one of the in-person meetings that was included in my package This went above and beyond my expectations and shows how flexible she is in catering to your particular wedding.

Coming from the East Coast to Catalina Island a few days before the wedding she was extremely useful by calling and confirming the vendors prior to the wedding. She called everyone a few weeks before and then a few days before to make sure everything was on schedule and everyone was on the same page. I would have not had such an amazing vacation if I had to do this in the days leading up to the wedding.

During the rehearsal she was quick and to the point but also being EXTREMELY sweet and gentle with her directions. Having a somewhat casual wedding, with people coming from all over the country, she got everyone to know what they had to do without loosing that "vacation" vibe.

The day of the wedding she helped assemble two dozen bud vases with flowers. With minimal direction, she instantly got to the task knowing that this was one project that I didn't have time to complete and needed help with. She worked with the Catalina Country Club to find the perfect table setup after I wasn't happy with how the set up was coming along. After she spoke with them it was exactly how I envisioned. She set up placecards and escort cards. And after telling her that I forgot frames for my photos at the guest table she came up with an inventive solution.

During the wedding she ran things effortlessly, and without drawing any attention to herself or the activity. Later in the evening she passed the message that we went over our alcohol limit and asked if we wanted to start a cash bar or tab. She quickly relayed the message to the Country Club. She also passed out all remaining checks to vendors so I didn't have to.

At the end of the evening she packed up all of our stuff so we and our friends and family didn't have to. It was so nice not having to think about cleaning up after the wedding because there actually were quite a few things that we wanted to keep like vases, flowers, guest book, etc.

She is SO nice and SO helpful. She did an amazing job!

I honestly do not think I could possibly say enough great things about Brooke. We booked her for day-of coordination but she did more than I could have asked for. She is absolutely amazing. She really heard and understood my vision and was the sweetest person ever. She did a great job on the day and really took care of everything. I didn't have to worry about a thing. She is so energetic and completely loves what she does and it really reflects in her work. She took all my DIY stuff and just knew what I wanted. She responds right away and is on top of things that sometimes might get forgotten or overlooked. She is the best. Absolutely hire her!!

After meeting with a couple of wedding coordinators, I chose Brooke Ueable because she was so warm, confident, calm, cool and collected. I don't know about other brides - but I was a bride who worried about every detail! (sound familiar?) I hired Brooke for month-of services and she was spectacular! She goes above and beyond. She was very helpful with ideas, research and making sure you truly end up with details that suit you and your taste/personality/budget. She's always available and ready to attack any problem or project.

We couldn't have survived the day-of without her. I had a chinese banquet by the beach and lets just say we had to bring the whole kitchen there! Brooke was great at handling complicated logistics and strict venue rules. She seamlessly managed all the guests and the vendors. Everything went smoothly and we received a ton of compliments, not just on the beauty of the wedding, but how well orchestrated everything was. The guests were not bored for a second! She made sure we stuck to our timeline without interfering. The breakdown and clean-up of our wedding at our venue was quite a large task and Brooke and her team stayed till the end to make sure everything was taken care of the right way. She is a person who is the first one to be there and the last one to leave!

There is no doubt she is an unbelievable day-of coordinator. But if you're busy with work and life (like I was), hiring Brooke the few months before my wedding was the best choice I made. She is great not only at tasks and projects, but is so helpful with the "big picture" and has an eye for detail. I really hope I never have to go through the wedding process again, but if I did, I hope Brooke would be available!!! :)

Of all the people we contacted to do our day-of coordination, we had absolutely no question that Brooke was the one we wanted to work with. She was quick to respond and upon meeting with her we could tell that she is genuinely passionate about her job and invests her whole heart into each couple she works with. We booked her that same day, knowing that we did not have to look anywhere else!

We are so glad we chose Brooke! She made sure all those details that make a wedding run smoothly were taken care of. She was so calm that we never felt a need to stress, even when we changed our minds about doing our own flowers two weeks before the wedding! She got us in contact with an amazing florist who was able to do everything more beautifully than I could have imagined and even had her assistant pick up the flowers to save us delivery charges! She created our time-line, coordinated our rehearsal, contacted and confirmed all our vendors, and stored our decorations the day before so that she could have everything set up and we would not have to worry about a thing that day! It was such a joy to wake up the morning of our wedding and be completely relaxed; she had it all under control!

Everyone commented on how smoothly the day went and what a sweet person Brooke was. We absolutely adore Brooke and cannot say enough good things about her! She is the best!

I met with three different wedding planners before going with Orange Blossom Special events. I knew that I would be planning my own wedding but I was looking for someone to help coordinate the "day of" for me. Brooke Ueable was the perfect choice. She helped make our rehearsal go smoothly and even gave us ceremony samples to use since our uncle was marring us. As far as I know, the wedding went off without a hitch. Brooke was very professional and made sure that we stayed on our timeline without being intrusive. I could not imagine getting married without a day of coordinator!! Brooke allowed us to be guests at our wedding!!! I would highly recommend Orange Blossom Special Events!!

We went with Orange Blossom Special Events because we had a good friend of ours refer us to them after they got married. As it turns out the event planner Brooke Ueable is a childhood friend of mine. She was great throughout the whole process. Brooke even though she has known me for the last 20 years was very professional and worked diligently with my bride and me to arrange our perfect day. She was always available for any last minute questions whether it was morning, noon or night and was not afraid to push us when we were procrastinating on making decisions.

All I know is that our wedding went off without a hitch and that is all thanks to Brooke and Orange Blossom Special Events. If I had to do it over again, which I don't want to I would definitely call Orange Blossom again.

Brooke was truly instrumental in pulling our wedding off last month (December 2009). I had completed the big stuff: booking all my vendors, ordering all my favors, etc. But I was dreading putting all the details together. I found Brooke, and she was able to tie it all together seamlessly. Her poise and calm demeanor truly give you a sense of peace in a business where everything hangs on the events of one day. We were able to enjoy the day without having to worry about a single thing. On the day of the wedding, I started panicking at 5 in the morning, realizing that I had forgotten to confirm my hair stylist for the day! Luckily for me, Brooke had already scheduled her to come and the hair stylist was knocking on my hotel room door before long. The other reviews really do an adequate job of describing the number of ways Brooke comes through for her peeps. The only way I can really add value here is my describing the type of impact she made to our wedding.

When i had a crazy idea that required a trip to Home Depot and some construction work -- Brooke was completely on board and didn't even laugh in my face!! Moreover, she actually took the reigns and helped me make it! When my to-do list became unmanageable, she saved the day by taking the enormous task of printing ALL my wedding stuff out for me the day beforehand. I almost cried when she helped me with that. Big, Fat, Tears. Because when you're at the day before your wedding and you still have a million things to do.. and you email your coordinator at 2am and ask if she can help... and she responds with, "no problem! i'll take care of it!" - that is literally enough to reduce any bride (and groom!!) to tears of joy. literally.

Then, on the day of the wedding when the whole timeline nearly went out the window, she just asked me what i wanted to do, and took it from there. She is thoughtful, calm, and organized.

Brooke is truly the best!

Originally, I did not think there would be a need for a coordinator. I had almost everything planned and our reception site had an amazing site coordinator. But after speaking to others I knew there were small details that I would need help on the day of such as packing up gifts at the end of the night. I wanted all my friends and family to enjoy themselves and not have to work the night of the event. So began my search for a Day-of-Coordinator.

We met with Brooke and I knew she would be perfect for us. She was so understanding, professional, friendly and I could see her genuine love and passion for weddings. We booked her right away. It was the best money we spent. She contacted all our vendors, created a timeline, stored and transported all the wedding details (picture frames, candy buffet supplies etc) and even brought the bridal party food while we got ready! She really goes out of her way to do anything and everything to make sure you have all you need and are completely calm. She paid our vendors and we did not have to do anything but enjoy ourselves and party that night! She also helped us book a last minute vendor we needed for rentals.

Most importantly, she was always available and easy to reach. I loved that! She kept us calm and sane during our last month and a half, even though we only hired her for the day.

Brooke, if you are reading this:

We love you and cannot thank you enough for everything you did for us and all you did to make our wedding as amazing as it was. We had a vision but you made it happen.

Our wedding was nothing short of spectacular with the help of Brooke!!!

My fiance took care of most of the details, but we were still looking for a planner to ensure that our day went smoothtly..Brooke was referred to us by a friend and she was everything we were hoping for and more..!

She helped us greatly in reminding us of the little things that needed to be done before our wedding date...and stayed in constant contact w/our vendors and made that everyone arrived on time (from the photographer to the officiant), and was a great mediator when we had a minor issue with our location...

When my fiance and I renew our vows a few years from now...Brooke will be the first person we will contact!

My fiance and I had done most of our planning by the time I contacted Orange Blossom. I was just looking for a day-of planner to make the time go smoothly on our wedding day. I met with Brooke and I found her organized and ready to take on the challenge of dealing with all of the vendors and family dramas that can occur during a wedding. What I didn't expect was how helpful Brooke was prior to the actual day when I was going crazy with planning and working. She spent a great deal of time wrangling the vendors and sending me reminders for items that may need attention. She even pitched in doing a heavy dose of decorating the day before. All in all, the wedding went incredibly smoothly and Brooke was a giant help. It was comforting to know I could just send her all of the emergencies that came up throughout the day. My husband and I enjoyed the day and had a genuinely great time at the wedding. I know we owe a lot of that to Brooke. I recommend her completely.

We found Brooke through a referral from one of the photographers who she had worked with. She has a very bright personality, and a professional demeanor. We liked her immediately, and ended up deciding to book her as our day-of coordinator.

Even as our day-of coordinator, she was very helpful the weeks before-hand: helping us with the time-line, helping us manage (and store) various accessories (specifically a bunch of chinese lanterns, which weren't tiny), favors, and other do-dads, and getting us various vendor referrals. The days leading up to the wedding I was chatting with her about various things constantly (and she even got up early the morning of the wedding to go purchase a bunch of parkas when we had a rain scare, fortunately the weather ended up being beautiful.)

At the actual wedding, she oversaw all of the coordination with the vendors, managed our time-line, helped setup & tear-down, ran around dealing with our various (probably somewhat frivolous) wedding day requests, and helped with all of the other little things to make the event go smoothly.

Really, this review doesn't go into enough detail with all of the things that Brooke did; without a doubt, she was fantastic, and well worth every penny we spent. I can't imagine when we'll next have another event as complicated/or important as our wedding, but when I do (or even when I have one thats half as complex) I'll be sure to want Brooke there helping it go smoothly.

I'm pretty hands on when it comes to planning & my wedding was no exception. I really thought I would be able to handle it all on my own, but when the day got closer I knew I was gonna need help. I met with 3 other coordinators, but when I met Brooke I knew I had to hire her! She was amazing! She is highly organized, professional & prepared to take on any challenge (including hysterical brides dealing w/ family drama). She just had a knack for making things come together & going above & beyond what I expected of her. She contacted vendors, helped them set themselves up, wrangled all the guests to when they needed to be, when they needed to be there. i can't say enough about all the behind the scenes things I know she handled. Everyone at the wedding thought she was great! One other very important quality she has is her uncanny ability to make you feel at ease & calm you down if you get into a tizzy, she has a great personality which is key when you are working so closely with someone. I know I could not have gone thru that day without her. She pulled it all together & make it work seamlessly & look beautiful.

I usually like to handle everything myself when it comes to planning events. However, when you plan a wedding, the event tends to take on a life of its own. Thank God for Brooke and her superior planning abilities. Brooke helped me with getting over 200 invitations addressed and mailed out. She assisted me with figuring out the logistics and time line for the big day. When the day FINALLY arrived, Brooke kept me calm and collected. I cannot think of one thing that went wrong. Brooke made sure the bridal party was in the right spot, the flowers looked amazing, the music superb and more. I could not have imagined a more perfect day, and (as cheesy as this sounds) thanks to Brooke's vision everything was sublime.

When I began looking for a wedding planner, most of my wedding plans were done. I was expecting to find someone to work on the day of the wedding, making sure everything flowed. Brooke ended up being so much more than I had expected. From the first time my husband and I met with her, we knew it was going to be a great experience. Brooke was helpful, supportive, knowledgeable, and professional. Even though most of the planning had been done, she help with finalizing plans, contacting vendors, and discussing vendor prices and payment. The best part of having Brooke as a wedding planner was the day of the wedding. I did not have to worry about a thing! Brooke had everything under control from getting guests seated, making sure everyone in the bridal party knew what was going on, taking care of the cocktail hour, and keeping us on track during the reception. Brooke was absolutely amazing! Our wedding day was wonderful because Brooke helped us take our vision and make it a reality. It wasn’t too difficult to decide who I wanted as our coordinator once I was out in the field researching, emailing, and talking to people. Sure there were a few other contenders. In fact, there was one that got very close to receiving the position (a position I hold very highly), but in the end that other coordinator didn’t seem as warm and friendly as Brooke did.

I had a few prerequisites when finding a coordinator:

1.) Willing to travel to Catalina Island (and stay over night since the last ferry will leave before the wedding ends)

2.) Willing to help with the set-up and oversee the change over from ceremony to reception

3.) Someone young, passionate about weddings, and beginning or in the middle of their career (fresh eyes but seasoned with experience)

4.) Someone who is directive enough to get our families to go somewhere, do something, or pay attention but not bossy

5.) A coordinator at easy with technology since I would be planning and corresponding with her from a different Coast

6.) Moderately priced

7.) Willing to help with the rehearsal

Everything fit the bill. And it got only better, she comes from a town just 25 miles from my hometown, and she graduated from UCLA as did I! So, yes, she was sweet, offered all the services I needed (and more!), and was very accommodating (even more than I expected).

So D-Day, I mean, our wedding day is just over 166 days away. This will be her moment to shine. But if you are in the market for a Los Angeles based coordinator, willing to travel, meet your needs, and be happy about you getting married, give her a ring! Or even better, give her an email! When Brandon, my husband, and I got engaged we knew we wanted a small wedding. Since neither of us is from California and we don't have family there, we originally thought we would have the wedding in one of our hometowns; but after a few months, it was clear to us that the only way to get the wedding we wanted was to have it in California.

My husband and I were both working a lot at the time, but I really thought I could put the wedding together myself. That was a mistake. Although we managed to find and book the venues we wanted, but the planning stalled out after that. Without family in town, I had to do all the vendor research myself, but once I found one I liked, I couldn't even find the time during the work day to make appointments. As the date for the wedding got closer, Brandon and I were beginning to argue over stupid wedding planning things and I finally accepted that there was no way I could get everything done without help.

In a panic one night, I searched the internet for a wedding planner. I saw Brooke's ad online and sent her an email around 11:00 pm. She got back to me later that night and we set up a meeting. The moment Brandon and I met Brooke we knew she was the planner for us. We told her our situation and asked if she could could help us. With only three months to go, she told us that it would be tight, but that it could be done and be done the way we wanted. We hired her shortly after the meeting.

Working with Brooke was easy. I could always reach her. I would send her an email and within a few minutes she would get back to me, even when she was out of town! She was extremely flexible with our schedules. Several times, she came to meet us at my office when I couldn't get away. She booked appointments, went to meetings, previewed and vetted vendors, and sent us lists of things she needed from us with deadlines. She is probably the most patient and understanding person I've ever met, even when Brandon and I would argue in front of her, she would calmly give her opinion and smile and tell us that everything would work out.

In the last few days before the wedding, I realized that several things I assured Brooke I would take care of had not been done. For instance, I had seen these adorable flower girl dresses in a magazine with a ribbon sash and a large flower on the back. My mother made the dresses and I assumed I could just go buy the sash. However, when I called the store a few days before the wedding, I was informed the sashes were not for sale separately. Brooke took a look at the picture, told me not to worry, and made the sashes herself. I believe there is a picture of them on her website.

I also thought I could just do my own makeup and save some money, but when I had second thoughts about it at the last minute, Brooke found a fabulous makeup artist to come to my house the day of the wedding. Brooke even went to Best Buy and bought CDs when I realized the day of the wedding that I forgot to put together the music list for the reception. Every time I dropped the ball, Brooke was there, picking up the slack and making sure things were perfect.

I know very few people that can say that they had exactly the wedding they wanted. Thanks to Brooke, Brandon and I can honestly say our wedding was perfect. Brooke really listened to us and gave us the wedding we wanted. She was willing to work with any vendor we chose or any crazy idea we brought to her. I talked to a few planners before Brooke and felt like I would be purchasing someone else's wedding. I'm sure it would have been lovely, but I wanted a wedding that was personal and represented us, not a particular wedding planners style. Brooke created a wedding that was as "us" as a wedding could be. Every guest at our wedding told us that it was one of the most beautiful and personal weddings they had ever been to. If anything went wrong, we were not aware of it.

I really cannot say enough great things about Brooke. She will forever be the person who saved my wedding from being a disaster!
