Orcutt Ranch

I had my wedding at this little known venue in the valley and I loved it. It was perfect for what I wanted. It's pretty DIY so you can do as much or as little as you want with the space.

Only downside is that you MUST use their bar service if you serve alcohol.

Absoultely Beautiful! Lush Green foliage, blooming bright roses, beautiful. Our wedding was in late April, and being out in the valley meant we had sunny days and warm weather. The cost was very reasonable, we got use of the whole ranch for 6 hrs, and we took some amazingly gorgeous photos. We had our wedding out in a grassy patch, under the trees, but they also had an arch and a gazebo which we used for pics. (Be sure to check with them about the grassy area, as they may no longer allow weddings there) If we had had our wedding in a more summery month, we would have had our reception there too. But since we couldn't guarantee no rain, we wanted our reception inside, and the house on the premise wasn't spacious enough.

One NOTE ... the price at first looks very reasonable, but you have to bring everything in yourself ... chairs, tables, sound equipment. It starts to add up quickly.

The Orcutt Ranch was the perfect place to get married! We absolutely loved it. . it's VERY do-it-yourself, but if you're up for it, you can add many things to make it special. For example, we put candelabras in the rose garden and lit the candles as it got dark. We also put up framed photos of friends/ family members weddings on the shelves in the "cake room". We hung flowers in the doorways, had flowers and tealights in the bathrooms, decorated the gazebo w/ flowers and changed the lightbulbs on the patio to dimmer lights. So. . if you don't mind working a bit, the Orcutt is a very special place. The price was very reasonable also.
