Some of my friends were coming down from Maine to help me celebrate my wedding with my Florida bride, and this was what one of them wanted to do. He organized it so that we could go on the tour, sample the beers, and then it also fell on the same day that the bar was having a live local band. The band was great, and the beer tasted nice, and I was happy to be with my friends, but the whole brewery touring part was a bit cheesy. I could see how a guy who loves beer could get into this, but it really reminded me of the time I went to the Ben and Jerry's factory in Vermont. People walk around and pretend to be interested, and then make a mad dash for the ice cream samples in the last room. The staff was nice, and everything was nice and all, but beer should be your thing if you're coming here.

Orlando Brewing is Florida’s only certified organic brewery. What does it mean to be organic? It means that ingredients used in crafting our ales are grown without insecticides, bioengineering, or irradiation. Our Blonde Ale has been officially certified Organic by the USDA. Our beers are the only ones declared “Fresh From Florida” by the State’s Department of Agriculture. You can taste the difference.

Orlando Brewing brews in accordance with the German Purity Law of 1516. That means we use only natural, organic ingredients. We would never use cheap fillers or adjuncts. Our ales range from light & easy-drinking to deep, dark, robust porters. The beer is fresh and never pasteurized.

Come visit us! We are located near Downtown Orlando at 1301 Atlanta Avenue (adjacent to the Orlando Amtrak Station). The beer is brewed right here on the premises, so it is as fresh as can be. We always have more than a dozen of our beers on tap. We offer free brewery tours, live entertainment, free Wi-Fi and a gift shop.

Orlando Brewing is the local beer. These hand-crafted organic ales and lagers are already available in select bars and restaurants across Central Florida. Many more are coming aboard. And, of course, you can always wet your whistle right here at the Tap Room.
