Choosing Orlando's for my receptions was one of the best choices that I made. The food was awesome and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I had my reception at Orlando Gardens. They did such an awesome job, and my guests are still raving about the food. I suggest that you spend then extra to have the chair covers and sashes, they make all the difference and the room looked so ellegant!

Orlando Gardens contributed to a phenomenal service for our wedding reception, and went above and beyond their call of duty. Services which had a price tag were provided for w/o additional costs (i.e. cake passing). The service manager of the night was very friendly, made sure everything was up to our expectations and was on top of the details (Wedding party-line up for DJ announcement; periodic checks during reception; assistance in retrieving wedding gift card"box" contents). Their wedding box was a nostalgic item; it was like an old front-door mail slot w/o the door. Very cool. Gotta love the whole reception ensemble: chandeliers, dimmed but not dark room, walled mirrors and hardwood floors for buffet/dj/dancing.

We purchased the dinner buffet package, and was skeptical on the taste. Mostly because we lived out of town and didn't have a chance to test the food. However, the food turned out to be delicious. I recommend the chicken spiedini and cavatelli and their salad was fresh!

Plus side on the expense is that there is no room rental or minimum to meet for the dinner service (Not that I can recall).

They also referred us to a DJ service who totally rocked! We loved our enthusiastic and professional DJ.

Also, they made it easy for us when it came to setting up the dinner tables with wedding favors and menus. Drop it off and they will set it up!

I highly recommend Orlando Gardens for such a memorable night. Thanks!

We couldn't have picked a better place to do our wedding. Up until the day of the wedding Drew was extremely helpful in getting every last detail planned. He was very accommodating and happy to help. On the day of the wedding, Chip made sure everything was in order and everyone was in the right place. Orlando Gardens is great because they have someone helping you every step of the way. The room was beautiful and the meal was delicious. They also partner with several other area businesses to make this a one stop shop. They made it easy to get a cake, find a dj, and even find a shuttle to bring guests from the reception to the hotel. I would highly recommend this venue.

I had my reception at the Wester Groves location. Everything ran smoothly and I didn't have to worry about a thing. The food was good and the drinks never stopped. For those on a budget I reccommend Orlando's Gardens. They will treat you right and give you your money's worth.

I would highly recommend Orlando Gardens Hoffmeister location. We worked with Jim Helton who was wonderful and our bartender Tim was great as well. Food was amazing and the Venus room looked great!

I could not be more thrilled with the Orlando family. Our ceremony was held at the beautiful Lodge at Grant's Trail. This 3-story log cabin bed and breakfast was the perfect setting for our rustic themed wedding. Every detail adds to the charm of this venue. Our family members each had a room for the night, allowing us to share breakfast together on the first day of our new lives. We will be back every year to remember and celebrate this special night.

The reception was held at the banquet hall. All of guests raved about the delicious food. The entire staff was so courteous and helpful from the moment of planning, to ensuring the hall was setup perfectly, to caring for us throughout the night, and even to ensuring all of our belongings were packed safely away for us to take home. Every step of the way was seamless. We cannot thank you all enough for making our wedding dream come to life.

The staff at Orlando's is amazing!!!! 2 weeks before my wedding we had a drastic drop in the number of people to attend the reception. I contacted them and within 24 hours we had a new contract written up and my reception was moved to a smaller ballroom in order to keep us from over paying by about 50 people. They have amazing customer service. They also are fantastic at fixing any problems on the spot. When my parents arrived ahead of the bridal party, the A/C was having some problems. Within about 20 minutes of my mother notifying the staff they had the problem fixed. This was especially important considering the heat index that day was 105 degrees!! The food is wonderful, the facilities are beautiful and well kept, and the staff is simply beyond compare!!

Orlando's was great. Throughout the process, Densie and Carol were easy to get a hold of to ask questions and make changes. I would recommend them to anyone.

Awesome service! We had a person by our side the whole time to get us drinks, help us find things, everything. They were great to work with, and we would definitely recommend them to anyone in the St. Louis area.

This reception host/caterer was absolutely wonderful! We were all so frazzled and lost track of time, but they people there were very on top of things and made sure everything went smoothly, which it did!

Our wedding reception was perfect! Jim was fantastic to work with while planning, and he offered many suggestions on how we could customize our event to our needs. Guests commented on how wonderful the food tasted (even those who had been to Orlandos many times before), and they also talked about how elegant the hall looked. So glad that we opted for the deluxe buffet and the mirrored tiles/votive candles! Also, in terms of the packages, everything was clealry explained on the contract, and Orlandos honored it so that there were no hidden fees or unexpected last minute costs. Also, an added relief...the staff at Orlandos was gracious enough to set-up our favors for the guests so we didn't have to arrive early or spend time on set-up. Our manager, Sandy, was professional and genuinely seemed interested in making the night special. She also made sure that everything ran on time and smoothly with the buffet, cake cutting, and dances. It was nice to know that she and the DJ had everything under control so that my parents, husband, and I could relax and enjoy the evening! I could not be more pleased with the night or have asked for a more wonderful celebration! I highly recommend Orlando Gardens.

Orlando Gardens was a fantastic reception venue. Drew and Mike were so great to work with and so flexible with the different things I wanted. The hall was beautiful and the food was amazing, lots of my guests commented on that. The outside of the building is deceiving to how big and nice the inside is.

Working with Terri Noftsinger from Orlando Gardens was GREAT! She was always available when I needed here and she organized everything fabulously. All of the rentals were perfect. The food was perfect for the event.

MY RECEPTION WAS BEAUTIFUL. WE REALLY HAD A GREAT TIME. THE DJ WAS RECOMMENCED THROUGH THEM AND THEY DID AN AMAZING JOB. ALSO I GOT MY CAKE THROUGH THEM AT MCARTHUR'S AND IT WAS GORGEOUS AND DELICIOUS.

They did everything for us for our wedding. The took care of all the vendors when the arrived at the reception hall. They made sure we had a flawless reception. The hall was beautiful and their food and services was outstanding.

Beautiful venue, disappointed with the quality of service.This was an amazing and really unique place to have a reception. The roof garden was spectacular for the cocktail hour, and the glassblowing demonstration was a HUGE hit with our guests (I've had a number of people tell me it was the most memorable reception they'd ever attended because of this). We would definitely recommend this venue to anyone getting married.

We were very happy with Orlando's. We had our reception there and it is a very nice facility with good food. You get a great value for what you pay for.

Our reception was beautiful. Their rooms are so well put together that there was very little extra cost toward decoration. My husband's family has used this vendor in the past and we will likely use it agin in the future. I am very pleased with the service provided.

The price was excelent and the food was great. The venue is pretty. The only thing is that there are certain vendors you have to use for certain things.

The folks at Orlando Gardens took care of everything for me. All I had to do was pick out my menu and give them a basic timeline. They were super-friendly and knowledgeable. The food was delicious, too. I have a friend who has worked in catering for several years and never eats food prepared by other caterers (since "he knows" what happens), but paid them a great compliment by even getting seconds!! The cost was very reasonable as well. Approx. $30 per plate.

Sometimes it took a while for our rep from the company to return our phone calls and emails. That gave me a bit of anxiety but when it was all said and done, the reception went off without a hitch and the caterer was flexible and great.

Orlando Gardens provided me with the most beautiful ballroom. The food was amazing and the customer service was great.
This is an all inclusive package- food, liquor,tables, etc. they even referred me for a cake and a dj.

I was very happy with how everything turned out. Instead of trying to buy lots of decorations for the tables I just rented some table runners in my wedding colors. The tables looked wonderful without having to spend a lot of money or wonder what to do.

The food was amazing, they were happy to work with you, but come in after you've done your homework to get the best deal.

Orlando Gardens were very high quality for a budget friendly price. They were my reception venue and catering service. We had a very nice buffet style dinner, and everyone enjoyed themselves. I have been to receptions there before my own, and knew that I wanted to have mine there. Luckily we were able to get them on our date. Everything went off without a hitch, and the hostess was wonderful about getting things rolling, so we didn't waste time waiting for things to happen. The only negative item was we only had one bartender. We were supposed to have 2, but there was a scheduling mishap.

Orlando's created a great reception for us. The price was very reasonable for a buffet and 4 hours of open bar. Our guests are still raving about the reception and keep asking us when we are going to get married again.

The food was amazing. They even made a special dish for my guest that was a vegan. They set everything up for me, so I didn't have to worry about it.

Orlando's was great! The food was amazing. Many people commented that it didn't taste like your normal "wedding food". They were also wonderful about accomodating our food needs (allergies, preferences).

Orlando Gardens was one of the only reception venues that would hold our large group of ~400 guests, but it was spectacular!!! Jim was great to meet with and helpful in selecting our menu and other "options" for our buffet package. The table decor was elegant with provided candle centerpieces and the food was very tasty, especially for being prepared to feed the masses!!!

I would like to start by saying that my wedding was awesome, the food was great, and everything that went wrong did not affect my time, and MOST of it went un-noticed by my guests.

That being said, I feel like there were several promises made to me that were not followed through. Before my wedding day I felt like everything had been great, they never had to return a phone call because my question was always answered when I called. Everything I wanted was typed into my contract, and when we went to set the menu and give final payment, they had all my requests right there.

The day of my wedding I found out that they did not put out the place cards as planned, my aunt, uncle, and 4 cousins did it, and they had nothing to go off of except the seating chart! I provided 2 different lists to Orlandos a week beforehand where the cards needed to go!
The big ugly naked statues were not taken off the bar, as I had PAID for them to be removed.
I had 6 children at my reception, and I was given the option to have chicken fingers and mac& cheese brought out to them. I was really excited about that considering the only hing they would probably eat from the buffet were the rolls. Well, their plates were never brought to them, and they ate rolls.
They informed me that they have someone to watch the bathrooms, fill TP, wipe everything down, etc. Well, all 6 stalls were without TP and one of the toilets was backed up. My mom had to run around trying to find TP, and after asking 3 bartenders (who told her to find someone in a white shirt, which were no where to be found), she jimmied open a locked cabinet to get her own tp. At that time, someone came in with 1 roll of tp for 6 stalls!

We did get refunded the fee we paid for having the stautes removed, and they refunded us for the kid's meals. I'm not sure what happened, but someone dropped the ball several times somewhere. My guess would be Tom Craig, our coordinator. I have no idea how so much could get messed up unless he wasn't communicating with the staff that was actually there, because he of course was no where to be found.

This reception hall had plenty of room to move around. Their were 2 receptions going on at the same time but you couldn't hear the other event at all. The food was good and the service was invisible which is always what you want. I would plan another event at this location.

Standard wedding reception hall with good service upfront and great food. They were very flexible in planning and arranging the reception to your specifications. They delivered on everything they promised. I was quite impressed with the food. They offer a food preview occassionally but we didn’t attend, so I was a little worried that it wasn’t gonna turn out well, but it was all good! They were flexible in picking out the food as well, we were able to ‘mix’ and ‘match’ from a couple of menus.

The food arrived late and cold, which is why this gets a low rating from me.

They were pretty good overall. They could have been a little more personable. The guy sometimes treated us like all we meant was money. However, the food was great and everything they did was right.

I want to start out by saying the food was GREAT, what a value. Everything about them was great, once I switched contacts. Initially we dealt with a Tom Craig. He was not so great. Weeks would go by without a response, and we went through rounds and rounds of the contract because each time he would add new things. About a month before the wedding, I could not take it anymore and requested a new coordinator. We got Denise Stevenor, and she was great, very on top of things, would call me right back if she missed my call. Orlando's was even flexible enough to have the linens delivered the day before at no extra charge so that we could set up the reception.

Diaster is all I can say. We were bumped from the room that we booked even though we booked 12 months in advance. I had 3 different coordinators in the year. I guess that can't keep their help!
I received a call on the day of my wedding will getting my hair done to tell me that the room had been booked last minute for a funeral luncheon and that we would not be able to decorate the room before 5:00 pm. My ceremony started at 5:00 at the church and the reception started at 7:00 pm. I complained and was told that the contract was only for 7 to 11. The staff did a horrible job setting the table decor since they threw it out last minute. So much for 12 months of planning! There were 2 tables that did not have anything! They lost the centerpieces and candles. The coordinator was rude and hide all night. The only good thing was the food.
I wrote a professional letter after the wedding to the facility. The owner, Mr. Orlando sent me a rude letter in response. He even told me that if we had spent more money, we would have gotten more attention. I guess our $10,000 wasn't enough.

No better place to reserve your event!

Orlando Gardens provides a consistent service and value in their wedding packages. Their friendly staff are eager to help and follow direction, when needed. I have been a Wedding Day Coordinator on several events they hosted and never received a complaint on their quality of service, flexibility, and professionalism.

In fact, on many occasions, the bride, Jen, commented on how she felt like Orlando's went above and beyond all of her expectations. Sam's team arrived on time, setup promptly and was on hand to assist in any way we needed throughout the evening. On top of that, the "kid at heart" themed menu was amazing! What can I say about Orlando's? The place is always clean, the staff always professional... I mean, you're talking about the best food around (and I would know) and a great space. The only question is whether you're prepared for a sure thing.
