Father Charley is a strong character. He's pretty direct and blunt. Those are his greatest qualities. The day of the wedding, my dad was late (not his fault) and Fr. Charley came out to the limo to let me know that it was ok to wait for him if it was truly important to me. He said he didn't care about anyone but me being completely happy with my ceremony. He was so supportive and during our ceremony, spoke to our family about some conversations we had. We had to select certain readings and during our last appointment prior to the wedding, he asked why we chose them. He told our family about how inspired he was for our efforts, being young parents, working, going to school, enduring hardships like a difficult pregnancy and job-loss. He made me cry. Great speaker. Amazing inspiration. Amazing person. Thank God for Fr. Charley!
