Our Simple Ceremony

Ms. Thurow was wonderful and created the most intimate, personal wedding ceremony for us. It was exactly as I had dreamed of. She was wonderful and flexible when I had to change the date due to hip surgery. On the day of the wedding she was calming and re-assuring. Andrew Thurow played guitar before, during and after the ceremony. He was fantastic and added such a special touch. Many of our guests said it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to.

Wendy did a fantastic job. We are very pleased with everything.

Both Wendy and her son Andrew (who plays guitar before, during, and after ceremony) are absolutely amazing! Wendy makes it a point to get to know both the bride and groom personally so that professionally she can give you the best and most personalized wedding ceremony. The vows were excellent, not traditional like most ceremonies, and our guests thought she was great as well as the ceremony. We loved her, and would recommend her to anyone!!!

I cannot say enough about Wendy's services! As a nervous and needy bride, I had plenty of questions to throw her way and she patiently explained (in GREAT detail) every step of the process to us. She was very timely with her responses and was even available for a last minute rehearsal. The rehearsal was the first time everyone met her and all anyone could say was how efficient, polite and sweet Wendy was. Our ceremony music, performed by Andrew, was the perfect touch. At the end of the day (when it seemed everything else had some hiccups-catering, flowers, rentals) Wendy and Andrew were reliable, helpful and the PERFECT addition to our wedding. We HIGHLY recommend her services. You won't be disapointed...and even more importantly, you'll be completely at ease with the process due to her professionalism and love for what she does.

Wendy provided the most beautiful ceremony I have ever seen,heard or been to...Her Son,Andrew was just wonderful on guitar. We would recommend them to anyone wanting to have their special day be all about them not just some spoken words and music. Wendy found a way to incorporate in the ceremony a very personal message with the beginning of my childrens meeting all the way to the Wedding day..and beyond..She also did the hand ceremony which I found to be moving and very heart felt for all who attended. I never knew of this before Wendy suggested it. Wendy was so wonderful! She was extremely helpful and responsive prior to our wedding day which made things so easy for me because I was an out of state bride. The day of the wedding, she came early since the weather looked to be a challenge for the day. She came early to go over things with me and to help in anyway. She was actually more helpful than my day of wedding coordinator. She was incredibly supportive when she saw I was getting nervous and a little frantic ha! I can't think of a better officiant because my ceremony was exactly what I wanted it to be because of her help along the way. The materials she gives you to help you plan the ceremony beforehand was a huge help and she officiated a beautiful ceremony. Everyone at our wedding said it was a romantic and touching ceremony. And everyone cried because of how special the ceremony was.

Ms Wendy Thrurow did a superb job with our ultra private wedding ceremony. She was very professional and friendy. Not only before the ceremony, but also during the ceremony. Her photografer was also very kind and professional. We will highly recommend them in the future.

Our grandson and his new wife are from Wisconsin, but were married at our Florida home. We learned about Wendy Thurow and Our Simple Ceremony through an online search. After viewing some YouTube videos of ceremonies Wendy had performed, we contacted her to discuss her services and availability.

Due to another of Wendy's weddings being rescheduled, we had the good luck of fitting in to her calendar for a wedding that was to be completely planned and completed within a month. We couldn't have done it without Wendy's help!

From start to finish, she was kind, professional and responsive. Wendy offered great suggestions and helped the bride and groom create an intimate, meaningful and affordable ceremony. She also handled all of the paperwork promptly after the wedding. We also really enjoyed having Andrew playing acoustic guitar for the wedding, too.

Wendy was fantastic! She was very flexible, responsive and professional. She working quickly with us to set up our wedding only a week in advance. She has very high quality ceremonies that you are able to customize yourself. She takes time to get to know you and your fiance and in person she is one of the nicest people you will meet.

Wendy with Our Simple Ceremony was amazing. We contacted her on what I thought was very short notice because it was something we threw together kinda last minute. She never once complained about taking care of us or had any problems. She was on time which is always good and even gave us a small gift which was the ceremony on a formal printed paper. She made the ceremony feel very good. She wasn't super serious about the whole thing which made it even easier for us as it can be a stressful time. If I was getting married again I would use Our Simple Ceremony again but that won't happen. However I would recommend her to all of my friends who may get married.

The guitarist was absolutely perfect for my outdoor wedding. He plays a variety of pieces, which are both beautiful and professional. I was hesitant about having a guitar play at my wedding but looking back I couldn't have made a better choice.

The service we received was personalized and tailored to our needs. It felt more like Wendy was part of the family than someone we had just met. Her son provided wonderful music for our ceremony which was held at our home.

I found Our Simple Ceremony and Wendy Thurow by doing a Google search for wedding officiants, and am so glad that I did. Wendy was the officiated at Danny (my husband) and my wedding, which was at the Hilton Pimlico Room, the evening of February 11, 2011. Right from the start, Wendy showed she was an expert in her area and a professional, by recommending places to hold an outdoor ceremony. (Because of the weather and ceremony time, we changed the location to indoors!) After giving Wendy some background information about us, she composed a beautiful, personalized, meaningful ceremony, which she presented to us in a folder afterwards. All of my communication with Wendy was through e-mail; I didn't actually see her until I was walking up the aisle wondering who the pretty blonde woman was standing near my fiance! Everything about our ceremony was perfect--from Wendy's smiling face and pleasant-sounding voice as she performed the ceremony, to the exchanging of roses, the readings, and the exchange of rings. I could not have asked for anything more. Oh! And Wendy's son is a talented guitarist. His playing before, during the entrance of the bridal party, and after the ceremony added just the right touch. I highly recommend Wendy Thurow/Our Simple Ceremony to any engaged couple who want a truly special wedding ceremony at an affordable cost.
