I hired Shanella La Crista to do airbrush make-up for my wedding, as well as my sisters and moms make-up too. She is truely talented at what she does and was so much fun to work with. I loved the make-up she did for my wedding, it was perfect! My make-up held up all day despite the tears and the photographs taken in the rain, it was amazing. Shanella was very easy to communicate with, which was done mostly through email. She was professional and on time to both my trial make-up appointment and the day of the wedding. Her sense of humor was great and really helped relieve my nerves the day of my wedding. I would recommend and refer her to anyone looking for a make-up artist.

Highly recommend the fabulous Latay at Pacific Artistry! She created amazing looks for the bride, bridesmaids, and mothers of the bride and groom! And she's such a sweet person to boot! I had Latay for my wedding hair and makeup. She was wonderful...made me look beautiful and she's super nice. One thing was that she was mistaken on the services to be provided and miscalculated the time, which made me over an hour late to my ceremony and my sister and mom came at the end of the ceremony. However, the makeup and hair was awesome and stayed on through the entire day and the prices were very reasonable.

Shanelle is awesome. I looked incredible on my wedding day thanks to her! I wish I could hire her to do my hair and makeup every day of my life! She was super responsive whenever I had a question, very professional, has a great personality (I laughed a lot the morning of my wedding), communicates well (which is important when someone is determining what your face looks like on your wedding day...) and is beyond talented!

The artists we worked with, Ashli and Julia, were wonderful. In addition to my bridal hair and makeup, we had hair and makeup for 7 bridesmaids and my mom. Ashli and Julia completed the appointments within about 5 hours, which allowed us to be dressed and ready for pictures with time to spare. They were punctual, flexible in working with many different styles and preferences, and all in all made for a fun morning. Ashli did my hair and airbrush makeup, and I have never been happier with any professional styling I've had in the past.

I will say that the manager of Pacific Artistry, Shanelle, was not always responsive, and I did not feel confident everything had been scheduled according to plan. I ultimately worked directly with Ashli to confirm everything, and she was great to work with. I believe Ashli is now working for her own company, Sweet Seattle Bride.

Shanelle is bubbly and fun to work with. She did a fantastic job making me look beautiful on our wedding day and I would definitely recommend her.

I had an excellent experience with Pacific Artistry. Working with Shanelle to arrange the services, as well as Kat who performed the services, was great. Everyone responded quickly to my questions, and on the day of the wedding we all had a great time with Kat as we had our hair and makeup done. She did an AMAZING job on everyone's hair and makeup, and was even flexible about adding in my 5 year old niece who really wanted to have her hair done for the occasion.

I hired Pacific Artistry to do my whole wedding party makeup. The morning of the wedding, they were a NO SHOW. After hours of waiting to hear from them, my father finally got through and they offered excuses; no sense of urgency. This caused a tremendous amount of stress and heartache for me on my big day. No Bride should start her wedding day off like that. Pacific Artistry was a huge let down and disappointment.

Shanelle is very easy to communicate with. She makes it clear from the start of the trial that she won't be offended if you want to change how she does your hair or makeup. She is also a great resource for day of advice whether or not it is concerning hair and makeup. She is mainly there to make things easy on you as well as making sure you are happy with the end result. She arrived with plenty of extra time and had her station all set up at the wedding venue way before I even arrived. She also is fun to talk with and is not awkward or fake. Shanelle also has a good system in place for how she does things and I would highly recommend you purchase a trial run as pictures of hair styles are dependent on how much hair you have and your face shape. I had to cut my hair a few days before the wedding because my hair was way too long for what I had imagined!

Kat was great! My favorite of all the people I worked with my wedding. She was prompt, friendly, professional and supportive. I looked beautiful and my mom was so happy with her hair and makeup as well. She even went o ut of her way to check out a restaurant I was considering for an after party! Thank you Kat!

Shanelle and her team of ladies who did our hair and makeup for my wedding were absolutely fun to work with, and creative in their makeup and hair vision! I would definitely recommend them to anybody, no doubt! As my girls and I were sitting in the "chair" we were jammin to 90's music which is the best music by the way, as we relaxed and laughed to jokes that were made :)! Shyn from Pacific Artistry did my makeup for both the wedding and the reception. I received so many compliments from our guests. She really made me feel like the prettiest girl in the whole room for both events! Shyn was willing to come at 5:00 in the morning just to be sure that the wedding party would be ready in time.

She gave a lot of input and suggestions to improve the ideas that I had from the beginning. Shyn knew a lot about what hairstyles and makeup would look good with my face and outfits. She also did my mother's make up, and easily took ten years off of her face!

This was an absolutely fabulous experience, and I'm so happy that Pacific Artistry and Shyn were part of my wedding...

I was really happy when Pacific Artistry was available on a relatively short notice (about a month before). Shanelle was nice about working with me and my really crazy, never normal work schedule for doing the trial. However I did feel like there was a lot of wrong information told to me. In one e-mail she said that the trial would be on location (aka she would come to me) but then I had to drive up to Seattle and pay for parking for the trial. In the contract it says she will stay until after photos of the ceremony (whichever is first) for touch-ups, during the trial she made it clear that it was only up to one hour (it does not specify time in the contract), because of that we slightly changed our timeline so I could have her help me put in and pull out my veil (only wanted it for some photos) while she was there. I expected that I could go down and take some photos with my veil while she was finishing up my BM/MOBs hair and then I could come back up and have her take it out and fix my hair. To my great annoyance when I went back upstairs to have her do touch-ups she wasn't there! No goodbye, no checking to make sure she was done, just gone. My MOH payed her while I was downstairs (accidentally paying her $50 to much because my MOH didn't know I had already paid a deposit online, so Shanelle ended up getting a huge tip which I don't think she entirely deserved) and Shanelle left without checking to make sure I, the bride!, didn't need anything. Though my make-up looked good all night my hair was falling out by the end of pictures (all done before the ceremony and reception). I think it would have been helpful if she had done the up-do completely during the trial instead of just a quick mock-up. Overall I think Shanelle is a nice person, but I didn't appreciate the mixed info, the hair falling out half way through the night, and the fact that she left without checking with me first.

Absolutely LOVED working with Shanelle. She handled my hair and makeup, as well as all 4 of my bridesmaids' hair for my wedding. Love how they come to you... one less thing to worry about during your wedding! Shanelle is so talented and so much fun; my whole wedding party had a great time with her, and everyone loved their hair! Have already recommended her to several people. Thanks Shanelle and Pacific Artistry!!

Shanelle and Kelly were absolutely AWESOME! Throughout this process, we had several changes on our service list and Shanelle was very flexible and understanding. She did my bridal party hair and moms' hair like a champ and Kelly did the same with makeup. Everyone looked absolutely beautiful. I have nothing bad to say!!!

I was very happy having Shanelle and her team help beautify my wedding party and me the day of my wedding. My primary communication with Shanelle was through email and she was always very responsive. She showed up on time the day of the wedding. I appreciate Shanelle's inviting personality and she really wants you to communicate with her. If you don't like something she wants you to tell her and she doesn't take offense to it. She realizes that this is your day and she wants it to be perfect. I would recommend Shanelle to other bride-to-be's and wedding parties!!

Amanda did a wonderful job on my hair and make up! She was friendly and efficient. My make up and hair turned out perfect.

I am so glad that I found Shanelle and hired her to do my hair and make up for my wedding. She is a dream to work with - super responsive to e-mail and very professional with a great sense of style and attention to detail. In addition to that, she is just a pleasure to be around. She has a calm, reassuring demeanor and awesome sense of humor. It's nice having her there while everyone is getting ready because she feels almost like an old friend! She and her assistant, Kelly really set a great tone when styling all my bridesmaids by chatting and playing music, and helping all of us get psyched up. They did a great job of taking into account each girl's personal style, but making everyone look gorgeous. We received so many compliments from other guests! I have never had false lashes feel so comfortable on my eyes. I completely forgot I was wearing them because she applied them so well. I didn't want to ever take them off! Shanelle and Kelly stuck around through nearly two hours of pictures to touch all of us up right before we walked down the aisle. The best part was that when I got to my hotel room 11 hours later after a day full of crying, dancing, sweating, etc. my make up still looked picture perfect. I would enthusiastically recommend Pacific Artistry to any bride who wants to feel and look great on her big day.

Pacific Artistry was very quick to respond to my request for a quote, but the communication from then on was terrible. My emails were not responded to in a timely manner, nor was the information relayed in these emails ever correct. The person communicating with me (Shanelle) was very nice, but didn't seem to be very organized. She was consistently apologizing for her mistakes...mistakes such as forgetting what services I was purchasing, informing me of mistakes on my quote after I paid the deposit and reserved, not responding to my questions in a timely manner. I was very close to cancelling my reservation. Once I started communicating with the actual makeup artist things were 100% better. Kat was timely in her responses, very flexible with my trial requests and super nice. Kat was extremely professional and made me feel very welcome. She did a beautiful job during the trial and made note of the small change requests I made. Kat arrived on time to our wedding and was very professional. She did the most beautiful job on my makeup (remembering the small changes I asked for) and made me feel and look beautiful. Kat was very acommodating when we had last minute requests for makeup and stayed through our pictures to make sure my makeup was touched up before the ceremony. I highly recommend Kat Greene as a makeup artists, but do not recommend Pacific Artistry as a business to work with.

Shanelle at Pacific Artistry was so much fun to work with! I had my wedding hair/makeup done (with a trial) as well as my four bridesmaids and a little cousin. Shanelle did the makeup and her assistant did hair and it all went smoothly and we all finished on time. Everyone looked beautiful and I am so happy with the way my hair and makeup was. I compared prices on many hair/makeup vendors prior to booking Pacific Artistry and Shanelle offered great packages and great value, especially considering the time she spent with me at the trial and all the work day of. I would recommend Pacific Artistry (and Shanelle) to anyone looking to have hair and makeup done for an event.

The staff with pacific artistry is so great, fun and talented. Shanelle, the owner did my hair and makeup, and I truly have nice looked or felt better. Since we were having my whole bridal party get done we had another stylist, Kelly come and she was just as wonderful. They were fun and layback and made getting ready a stress free process. They are true professionals and artist with makeup and hair. Pacific artistry was worth every single penny. All the guests raved about all of our hair and makeup.

I would recommend Pacific Artistry to any girlfriend. Shanelle was very understanding and calm on my wedding day - she really helped me relax just by being there. I loved my hair, received so many compliments, and my makeup lasted throughout the night despite dancing, carrying a heavy dress, and sweating like crazy.

I went with Pacific Artistry after a lot of searching. Since I wasn't paying for my girls to get their H&M done, PA was one of the cheapest options out there for them if they wanted to use it. Which one of my bridesmaids decided to do. They also had great prices for the bride and traveled, all things I was looking for.

Kat was my stylist. She was great! I showed her one hairstyle that I liked a lot for the trial, and when she did it on me, I realized it wasn't my style. She worked with me to find something that would make me happy on my wedding day. I felt bad making her redo my hair, but she had a good attitude about it through the whole thing, and I came out of it feeling WONDERFUL.

Kat is also really relaxed and easy to talk to, so even though you may be nervous, she makes you feel a little more relaxed both during the trial and the day...

After reading many reviews, I decided to hire Pacific Artistry to do the hair & makeup for my wedding. I ended up with Kat and she is fabulous! She is such has such an immense talent- She spent the time to make sure our hair and makeup was perfect. Kat has such a calm aura about her; she just makes you feel totally at ease. Shanell did hair and make up for my daughters wedding. She was very enjoyable to have in the room all day with the brides maids, put the girls at ease. She listened to their desires for hair styles and did after photo touch ups. Very easy to work with and would highly recommend her.

Shanelle was AWESOME! She is super friendly and open to showing me different hairstyles. I was indecisive to what hairdo I wanted until the day of the wedding, but she went with what I chose and it looked beautiful! She also made my already pretty bridesmaids and mom look stunning in romantic chignons and berry makeup. The only concern I had was the extended amount of time it took to do the makeup, which caused us to get a late start with our photos. Also, my eyebrows weren't brushed or gelled together (didn't even notice until the pictures), but I still looked awesome, especially to my hubby! I recommend her to anyone :D

I wish I could give higher scores. Shanelle and our artist Hannah were just fantastic. Shanelle was so responsive and understanding on the business side and helped me pick out a fantastic package for our bridal party. Hannah was eager and upbeat and willing to take on a pretty diverse bridal party. Hannah totally understood that my hairdresser would do my hair and she would do my makeup on site as well as my MIL, MOH and hair and makeup for the other four bridesmaids. My bridal party is very diverse I am biracial, three of the ladies are incredibly fair, one is Asian, one is Hispanic and the other is medium skin toned. Hannah was in complete command of the colors that would work for all of us. The trial run was fantastic and fun. I showed her pictures of the bridal party so she would know what to expect. She was completely nonplussed and ready for the challenge. The bridal party looked fantastic and I looked fabulous. I would hire them again in a second.

Shanelle from Pacific Artistry is AMAZING!!!!!! She is a blast to be around, totally easy going, and absolutely fabulous at makeup and hair. I couldn't have been happier on my wedding day, and neither could my mom and bridesmaids. I couldn't recommend her more highly - she will make your wedding day so fun, happy, and easy!!

I originally sought out Pacific Artistry to have makeup done on location for my wedding for myself and my bridesmaids. Her prices were quite reasonable, however, and we ended up doing hair + makeup for me, 5 bridesmaids, 2 mothers and 2 flower girls! The trial went wonderful – I loved the coverage of the airbrush makeup. We clicked instantly, laughing as if we were old friends. Shanelle did not disappoint me for our wedding makeup, either – everyone had natural looking makeup and hair, which turned out perfect in pictures. My only complaint was her showing up 2 hours late – she had originally set up the time schedule, and prior communication referenced the 6am arrival time. Although she said she confirmed for 8:00 arrival, after the wedding I verified this was incorrect. It was just an extra stress I didn’t need on the day of the wedding, but we rolled with it … and our makeup and hair looked wonderful!

My wedding day was chaotic and they were there calm as cucumbers and ready to get down to business. on a side note Shanelle is hilarious and all around good time!! I was very impressed with my experience working with Shanelle. As maid of honor/wedding planner I was already frazzled with all the details. Shanelle was very responsive and super flexible which really helped alleviate stress both before and the day of the wedding.
